There's a sort of dichotomy between P J Harvey's incredible music and her generally simplistic videos. They're not a priority for her. I don't think a video can really do justice to her songs, they're like a good book, stirring the imagination in a way that can't be put down on to video effectively. That's why more than many other artists I like to listen to her music in a dark room!
