  • I think you could work in Nintendo with Yoko shimomura and Mahito Yokota

  • This sounds magnificent. Bravo BowieZ.

  • You forgot: "Thank you so much for a-playing my game!"

  • mario party 2 end credits are better.

  • :O I found a mistake in the credits! They didn't put BowieZ D; THEY MUST

  • Yeah. Yep. Uh-huh. YES!!! That will work great! Thanks BowieZ.

  • this should be the credit music for the real super mario galaxy 3....*if its comes out that is* x3

  • @Leenia18 It just so happens that I am working on a Super Mario Galaxy 3 project (I only have blueprints constructed for the game). I'm almost complete, too. I just have to put on a few finishing touches (Shine Sprite Missions, Red Star Missions, Green Star Missions, Blue Star Missions, and the Galaxy Creator/Creator Universe) and then it will be 100% complete.

  • @Leenia18 I wish it would be on the 3DS!

  • I'm completely serious: There should be a Super Mario Galaxy movie with this music on the credits and Bowie's other music on other scenes.

  • Bowie, are you still making these?

  • DAMN! even after nearly 2 yrs. you posted this, this vid still gives me goosebumps!

  • Is that the same progression of descending notes in the very beginning as the end credits of Super Mario Land? (0:17 - 0:28 ish)

  • Y'know, I'm surprised that you didn't make a fanmade final boss.

  • The beginning color changing wasn't great, but the music was awesome! What'd you use to make it?

  • I was watching this video and then had a sudden amnesia, then I was thinking how good the music was, but I didn't remember hearing this...until I realized it was your awesome theme.

  • cAN i USE THIS FOR smg3

Can I use this for SMG3

  • hahahaha you thought wrong!!!

  • Can I use this for SMG3?

  • For whatever reason, 1:07 reminds me of the Mermaid's Lost Pearls theme in Donkey Kong 64 mixed with a theme from the movie Napoleon (that one about the golden retriever puppy).

  • Three words WORK FOR NINTENDO!

  • *sobs while smiling*

Oh man, I know this is late (:@) but this is better than the original credits theme in my opinion, it fits how when you finish the game, you want more, it also shows how your compositions, fanmade, are amazing. Gosh, now I really want to contact Nintendo to hire you, even if they don't accept fanmade compositions, but when I forget,

    I'LL BITE MYSELF.

  • All I can say is: Damn good job. You should really look into getting a spot as a musical composer/director in Nintendo or some other video game production or development company.

  • all mario games are epic

  • this is truly amazing and so beautiful. if this would be in the game It would make me start over from the beginning right after the credits ended because I would remember all those awesome moments of the game XD

  • i herd a part from SMB

  • This got to be your greatest creation yet, also one of my personal favorites. Your medley is simply otherworldly and a brilliant choice for a credits theme. Especially the Koopaling Tango is on par with some of Koji Kondo's work, the melody is just breath-taking.

I'm hoping they'll make a third Galaxy game during next gen so you can create even more amazing galaxy themed music to impress us with.

  • Super Mario Galaxy 2 is officially out! I believe. :P

Hope it's as good and hard as the first! (stuck on the bowling ball part xD)

  • Bowie: Thank you so much, for a-listening to my music!

    Mario: Hey, that's a-my line!

  • I swear, this is so good it almost made me cry.

  • You have a very good credit theme for SMG2, especially considering you made this before its release. However, I prefer Nintendo's credits music for SMG2 over this one--probably because its the best credit music I've ever heard. Nice work regardless! Great job!

  • @ssjgotenks2009 he made this video around 8 months ago, and it says in the desc. "my version of the end credits" highlight the my in that.

  • and you still impressing me!!, god man, you are a master music creator!

  • Nintendo needs to make you rich, and use these songs. they're that good.

  • This is really good. :-) yay!

  • It sounds like survivors getting out of the rubble from a terrible bombing. (or something else real terrible)

  • This is the best end credits music I've heard!!!! Great job!!!!! =]

  • "Thank you so much for a-playing my game!"

  • an amazing credits theme! wish it was longer.

  • if somehow Nintendo found this & didn't tell you, I can't wait to hear this at the end of the game!

  • Would you please make a full version of the "darker" Cloudy Caper music? It sounds really nice orchestrated like this. :)

  • this is cerdits of the first mario galaxy but not the muisc

  • i really like the planet boo theme in here it communicates my emotions pretty well. i love it 5/5

  • This would be a nice credits theme for the upcoming SMG2, and its kinda funny how you made this, and later, a SMG2 game was actually being made.

    lol

    5/5

  • this is amazing i love all his songs

  • Now dis is way better than smg2 humoungus fungus

  • Humungous fungus? What the heck is that?

  • @LockDown4000

your mother. just kiddin :P hahahah

i think he just made it up.

  • Very Nicely done. You are a pro at this for sure. 5 stars!

  • i´m making a parody series, you know, i put this to ask you if i can use some of ur music for it, this should be in the ending credits! please answer me!

  • You should revamp this with Freezeflow and Fungus parts in. You've made countless works of musical delight, and they deserve a place here.

  • Comment removed

  • Note "revamp"

  • Dude you need to make your career on this kinda stuff! Your compositions are amazing!

  • Credits already? The game has not even been released yet! o.O

Lol, just kidding. You are really good at composing these songs you know. Maybe you should get a serious job at a game company. :D

    Ehm... nevermind...

  • this is fantastic, ive listened to it a dozen times and it really makes me feel like i just beat a game of epic perportions, and im remniscing the happy times, difficult times and beautiful ones too, well done

  • YOU'RE ABSOLUTELLY RIGHT!!!!

Listening to this makes me feel I've finished the best game I've played on my life. You win again Bowie

  • I wonder did the Nintendo Company heard this yet? If they did, then maybe they make a decision to hire BowieZ?

  • i just noticed that, from 4:10 to 4:14, the base line references the old mario theme

  • Ah, Calming =3 like the Super Mario Galaxy Credits you did wonderful =D

  • The bit starting at 1:07 is probably the best end credits tune I have ever heard. :o

  • Thank you.

  • Hey BowieZ! Do you wish that your music would be in the Super Mario Galaxy 2 game?

  • @Armalizilto Nintendo sure wishes they could put this in.

  • I thought that was excellent.

  • Super Mario Galaxy 2 is coming out Early 2010

  • i heard some rocket ship ride from super mario land in there, and some mushroom galaxy. thats all i heard. (oh and some dismantling big dry bones, i think. Cloudy caper aswell?) i only just saw that you put anotations, i am so stupid

  • Lol, it started from the end and I was like "D: What!? It ended already!!"

    XD

  • Hey, dude. I heard like all of your earlier songs all in one song. A Beautiful Masterpiece!

  • I could really listen to this all day.

  • the game didn't come out yet, this is just the guy's idea of the music in the game

  • Not to OCRemix, this is a completely original work. These are some amazing songs though, deserving an entire (fan?)game of their own.

  • I'd make it. I'm learning right now.

  • Ever try submitting your stuff to OCRemix and whatnot?

  • Why wouldn't you see wider and seal your compositions? You've got nothing to lose. (well I guess....)

    Anyway, you rule !!!

  • Couldn't find a trace of this news anywhere on the web. What's your source?

  • @BowieZ It has already came out, (July 2010) ;D

  • Guys, dont thumb down AKAandJ. It really is. I went to gamestop a couple of months ago and he said it's coming out New Year's.

  • @diamondzprincezz WRONG, May 23rd, 2010!

  • @nintendo1889x i Know

  • @diamondzprincezz Ahem? It's US In 23rd May, Japan In 27th May, UK In 11th June & Australlia In 1st July

  • @diamondzprincezz It came out already in May.

  • Truly amazing music worth having in a real video game bravo and good luck!

    :)

  • Genius!! Truly inspiring music!

  • I think the Planet Boo bit is a little too fast; but other than that, this is a great medley of some of your greatest works.

    Congrats.

  • Your music... Really, people should be hiring you as a composer.

  • I SO AGREE!!!!!! do it!!!! yeah, tell him that.

  • THIS IS AWESOME!!! I actually think this ending song is better than the original on SMG1!!!

  • Very beautful sweet peaceful and nice music! I really love it 5 stars it makes me relaxed and quiet I love this music so much this really should be in the credits in Super Mario Galaxy 2 you are the best BowieZ very talented and good effort in music composing!!!!! :) :)

  • post it to SMG2!

    it is AMAZING!!!!!

  • this is peaceful, and relaxing, thanks for uploading.

  • How were you able to compose this music? This is great!

  • At the end of "The Mushroom Galaxy," I can hear 8 notes of the SMB theme.

  • OMG yay! someone noticed!

  • I noticed it too!

  • hey has the big bat galaxy came out yet?

  • Comment removed

  • who knows? maybe nintendo heard his music and is using it in super mario galaxy 2!

  • pikminfan, how I'd love that best case scenario

  • To me, this theme truly reflects the epicness of SMG. All the hardships the players would go through to beat the game, and the difficult challenges they faced (Luigi's purple coins <_<), this song makes me recall each life I lost, and how it was all worth it in the end. Thanks for making these excellent pieces of music, and keep up the great work.

  • @Terron145 Luigi's Purple Coins wasn't as hard as it looks. Read the sign. There are 150. collect 100. it's pretty easy ^ ^; A more formidable hardest Galaxy would be Dreadnought's Purple Coins.

  • @Izakk96 Dreadnought's Purple Coins was my hardest Purple Coin Mission. Never before did I die so many times due to poor placement. Most people seem to think Luigi's Purple Coins is harder, so I chose that example.

  • What level is it bottom right at 2:43

  • Melty Molten Galaxy, the really hard ball rolling level, "Through the Meteor Storm" (ytcom/watch?v=gDKmsKeZiG0)

  • Great alternate credit music! better than the original!

  • Listen to it, it's not the same music. He composes fan made music.

  • Just curious, what composition program do you use to make these?

  • Noteworthy Composer, Sibelius, Kontakt, VSL, Adobe Audition, learning Pro Tools, Reason etc atm

  • Thanks.

  • Wow... that's a lot of stuff T_T

  • KOOL,and thanx for letting me use ur music anytime, but we will have to wait that in the future

  • WOAH! You are a really good original composer. I think you will go far if you keep it up. By the way what do you use to make your music? Do you actually use or orchestra or a program?

  • He uses Note Worthy Composer.

  • I like how it's soft epicness, not all that in-your face epicness that some songs have. It seems to embody an epic, I mean like the literary writing form, like "The Odyssey." I like the incorporation of your other themes in it. They just seem to fit right in. =) Once again, good job and keep it up!

  • Composing Mario-like music has always been my dream. Though I know I don't have much of a chance accomplishing it, at least I know I have someone to trust on that. Keep on rocking.

  • 3:20ish is my fav. part! :)

  • if koji kondo and mahito yokota had a man-baby, youd be theyre man-child

  • haha cheers. they'd make great dads

  • How do you think of the tunes of your songs? Alot of them have references to other songs, but I can not seem to get a song that would really fit in my head. Could you tell me what program you use to write the MIDI music?

  • I hum the ideas first, then flesh them out and organise them in noteworthy composer, then tidy them up and use quality orchestral sound samples in Sibelius to finish it up. Sometimes the use of realistic sounds changes the course of what you intended to do.

But the important part is just getting into a 'zone' and humming (or playing on a piano) loads of musical ideas until a couple of them stick, and you can remember them later without trying too hard.

  • Sweet! Now I am basically all set up... My brother already has a Sibelius 4 Demo, I know how to play Piano, so now I just need to think of a tune! Thanks.

By the way, I'm working on that Mario Kart game. I only made the intro so far though. I went through SO much time trying to find a good image of a warp pipe.

  • This needs to be orchestrated, NOW!!!

By the one and only Mario Galaxy Orchestra!!!!!

*Sniff* This is so great, it's like the music is reflecting Mario's many great adventures (You know, mixing your themes into a credits-like theme.) *Sniff*

    ...I- j-just 'ave so-m-thin' in my e-eye...

Aw.... It's over............ I NEED more!

    Just kidding. It's perfect.

    Nintendo NEEDS you, BowieZ!!

  • wow i appreciate it buddy. wish i knew the best way of contacting nintendo; they're very 'private' and hard to deal with, especially the Japanese headquarters themselves.

  • Yeah, I know. But this is good example material. Hell, if you can't get Nintendo, I could see many others (Video games or not) that would be excited to have you. You possess quite a lot of talent.

  • wow that was another masterpiece man ur really good at making awesome music

  • masterpiece? not quite... i shoved too many themes in there when the time didn't really permit it (if i did it for real would probably have omitted the planet boo galaxy theme but it just sounded too cool :P)

  • well even if not a masterpiece its still a pretty good song

  • wow bowie. When you told me you had a project like this, I really didn't expect this tune... awesome! 5 stars!!!

  • Awsome!

  • seriosly have tried joining nintendo?

    you would ovbiously make it!

  • Holy cow... Another epic masterpiece! Man, I just can't get enough of you're awesome music!!!

  • you took my words :P

  • I as well..am speechless...

  • They'd have to be stupid not to recruit you. You remind me of the guy who made a modification for Half Life 2 called MINERVA and got hired by the game creator, this should honestly be the same with you.

  • if i didn't know that this is fan-made then i would say that this song is real...

(srry for bad english dutch ya-know)

  • Aww thanks mate. I'm actually half-dutch by the way! Cheers. xxx

  • I'm entirely convinced now. I will be angry if Nintendo doesn't offer you a job. Because that would be wrong. MAIL NINTENDO NOW! :D

  • I'm thinking of moving to America and visiting NOA headquarters there. Being there in person helps. Japanese Nintendo is proving to be quite difficult to break into.

  • yeahb you should really go NOA and create some great game music

  • My god it's beautiful! Loved it.

  • That was really great to listen to. I hope Nintendo hires you, you have great musical talent. (I know you probably hear that a lot, but it's true!)

  • Thanks, and thanks to everyone else with their awesome comments. I'm glad everyone likes it. Show ur friends! I need more views and ratings for this one. Lava-themed Galaxy piece definitely coming up soon!

  • im telling everybody i know!

  • Can't wait for the lava music!

This music is relaxing, and very Mario Credit-esque. Y'know, like it sounds like a very good credits music; the real deal.

  • Wow.

You aren't made of regular win, that's for sure.

  • Don't forget to watch it in HD guys (link in description).

    So much better quality LMAO.

  • That was rly good, but I dont think it suits SMG's credits. Maybe another Mario adventure game. Dont get me wrong, that was very well made but the original IMO was irreplaceable.

  • Yeah, well, fair enough. Points for trying to replace something irreplaceable? Haha. Pretty daunting task it was indeed.

Although frankly, I reckon the actual SMG credits piece is as far removed from traditional Mario music as it's ever been. Such a strangely heroic trumpet main theme (it's usually quirkier, more calypso-Italian-street-music sounding), and the Gusty Garden Galaxy theme is oddly romantic and a bit cliché, although it all works as a piece but it's debatably unique Mario music.

  • That was very well done however and an amazing medley of your SMG songs. Sure, it doesn't measure up to the original but it sets a new standard for your arrangements. (Wow, don't I sound corny?)

  • Well that's all I can do, is improve! Thanks so much for the honest and helpful comments. :)

  • You need to make a starman remix for Galaxy or something...

  • You should have inserted your name in the credits under "Music"

That would have been great : )

    Great job, once again!

(I liked the Cloudy Caper part)

  • I was thinking of doing that but forgot at the last minute hehe, although I'm sure it would have looked arrogant if not crappily done :P

  • another awesome song. keep it up! :)

  • While this is absolutely brilliliant, this lacks the Mario feel to me, I don't know why, it just does.

  • Thanks for the constructive criticism and compliment.

To be honest, I didn't try to replicate the original end credits, and I wanted to include all my own themes (besides a nod to the original at the VERY end), so it kind of strays a bit from in-your-face Mario, and that's what I intended.

(Probably wouldn't have included so many of my themes if I were doing it for real, part of it was just to show off! haha :P)

  • sounds like the original!(thats good btw)

  • you are awesome, your music is awesome. make more soon ;)

  • More definitely coming. So many requests for a lava level theme!

  • It's a real great choice

  • Perfect

  • When I play games, I can't wait for the credits, because they always has the best music. If this really was in a game, it would be no exception. Well done!

  • Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it

  • It's hard not to ^^

  • keep up the good work !!

  • wooooot!

  • Excellent.

  • First. Nice. :P
