If the Nebraska Tunnel Walk doesn't raise hair in excitement you haven't been to a game and seen it in person. That is, in my opinion, the best moment in any sporting event. The whole week before the USC game last year there was static in the air across the state, nothing but football could have brought this state together any better, despite the eventual outcome of the game.
i respect the florida teams for their talent in the late 80's, through the 90's, but i hated that nebraska always had to play those good teams on practically their home field in such high stake games

I think it was a combination of both. Plus getting killed at home by Okie State, having A&M return the favor from last year, pulling it out of the ass against ISU, plus losing to two former doormats on the road (KU and Mizzou). I would trade the entire rest of the '08 season for wins against Kansas and Missouri.

wow! ure acting like ure little missouri tiggers are the greatest football team in the planet just because you've had to good years. Nebraska's had how many? if u seriously think it's gonna take five years for us to get back on track then u must be dreamin. pretty soon we'll be dominating the North again and u guys wont be able to do spit about it and u kno it. Nebraska has more tradition than Mizzou and more resources to get back on track. we'll see who backs up the talk next year.

well wha'd u think i meant? i meant national caliber in the next 3 years. maximum of 4. i'm not saying we're gonna be beating Oklahoma next year, but i think in about the 3rd of Bo Pelini's coaching tenure, Nebraska will be a national caliber football team. trust me. if u dont believe this guy will turn it around by his 3rd year than u must be crazy. this guy's a friggin genius, and he gets the players to play hard for him.

o really? what's our record again? Alabama already had some pretty good players before Nick Saban got there. he got a better recruiting class than Pelini. and of course he's goin to get a better recruiting class when he's already a proven coach. before the season started no one really expected Bo Pelini to go 8-4, so i really have no clue where you're getting high expectation crap from. now, of course we have high expectations for the future, but nobody ever expctd him to have a chmpnshp year.

We have been better than the Huskers the last 3 years and I think we are still better than you this year. That will change soon enough because Pelini knows how to recruit, but we are starting to build a consistenly decent program, whereas Nebraska has always had one

If the Nebraska Tunnel Walk doesn't raise hair in excitement you haven't been to a game and seen it in person. That is, in my opinion, the best moment in any sporting event. The whole week before the USC game last year there was static in the air across the state, nothing but football could have brought this state together any better, despite the eventual outcome of the game.

I think it was a combination of both. Plus getting killed at home by Okie State, having A&M return the favor from last year, pulling it out of the ass against ISU, plus losing to two former doormats on the road (KU and Mizzou). I would trade the entire rest of the '08 season for wins against Kansas and Missouri.
