  • where can you buy it?!

  • umm, umm, umm....

  • Can you tell me how do you zoom while you have this steady thing ?

  • How do you zoom with this equipment?

  • vivo en Chile como y donde lo puedo comprar

  • I was going to go out and shoot some test footage of these three cameras with the Hague but decided I'll leave that for another day.

What Happened ?????????????? Didnt work so well ?????

  • does this work with the cannon t3i?

  • Hi

i have bought this item from your home page just after xmas.

i have seen your videos and i did believe i will get the same result but NOT at all.

I am usign this item for record some rugby games.

the camcorder and microfone i am using are Panasonic HDC-HS900 with RODE VIDEOMIC

your item is not that steady.

what can i do to have some steady videos?

    many thanks.

  • I don't care much for the balancing part, obviously you should be able to balance it ! What is interesting what the results are while you film with the steady cam equipment compaired to whitout the steadycam equipment, not the actual waving around the camera you did here. Plz do a filming with that includes atleast running and/or panorama, strafing and so on...

  • Thanks for the video. I have a camera that's similar in size and weight to an iPhone, but it has a tripod mount nut. Is the extra hardware you have for the iPhone just to compensate for a lack of a mounting point or is it also essential to provide weight? Do you think I could just screw my camera to this steadicam? Thanks again.

  • what if you are on a BIKE on a real bumpy road? will that work, assuming you could attach it? remember, a bike on a bumpy road will move vertically UP and DOWN. that machine seems to take care of angular changes but does it have a "spring" or some sort to absorb QUICK vertical shifts up and down?

  • where can i buy it

  • @TommyRedP HEY WHATS UP I LIKE TO TALK IN ALL CAPS TOO.... don't.

  • Nice one........Good job bro!!!!!!

  • how cheap?

  • no video samples? that's the main thing, it's like watching the Xtra factor show, we see artists backstage but not when they perform

  • Thanks for the video! It was really useful!

  • hi, does it work well with t21 + 18-115mm lens?

  • thanks for the video! great work and just the info i was looking for

  • @Dombowerphoto no problem. glad you enjoyed it.

  • i want to know the price.

  • Can any1 give me a review with it and a gopro or another steadicam? THanks

  • Is it possible to manually focus and film at the same time without getting shaky footage?

  • Do you need some sort of quick release plate or something? Or is there a screw that you just twist right into the tripod mount of the camera? I'm using it with my DSLR.

  • @ Willferox I have the same question but I have a 500D and a tamron 17-50 f./2.8 VC which is 2x heavier than the camera body xD

  • Do you think I could use the MMC with a Tamron 17-50 on the 550d?

  • ive got this and since new it's been a piece of crap.. ive tried adding weight and slowly reduc ing them and trying to balance it and still no joy.. any suggestions?

  • @rob327c Try going to their website which has a tutorial on how to balance it. You can see it can be done by the video here and others on the web. It is a pain but keep going and it will eventually balance.

  • Seems there's a fairly strong amount of drag on the swivel. Also no surface purchase for your thumb and forefinger as you steer the camera. Maybe they've traded control by finger for control by friction?

The Steadicam Merlin (HDSLR-friendly) has a gimbal that has virtually zero drag/friction, and you steer it by the lightest of thumb/forefinger touches around the upper (sled) collar.

And now that the Steadicam Smoothee is out for iPhone and GoPro (Sept), there's a real alternative.

  • Have you considered putting the grip into a damping unit and limiting yaw somehow, so it could be fixed to a bike? I guess the sort of damper I'm thinking of is like a parallel linkage unit with RC car spring dampers in it.

    Thx for posting.

  • Where to buy?

  • would this work with a 600D?

  • Does the steadicam appear in the GoPro's video due to the wide angle lens? At a glance it looks like it'd be in the field of view

  • @xGIJewx yeah I am wondering about that

  • Could this be used with a 60D at an 18-55mm lens do you think?

  • @dejunkyNL Not sure to be honest. I don't have that camera and wouldn't like to say yes just in case it doesn't work. I'd contact Hague and see what they say.

  • @dejunkyNL You can use this with a 60d with kit lens, as they both weigh under 0.8kg, which is the suggested maximum weight.

  • @SimLees Well I'm planing to get the 50mm 1.2 lens so maybe it's be just a bit too heavy for this, I'm trying to find a nice small pacage for video.

  • @dejunkyNL my buddy has the 60D and he has this steadicam, and it worked! good luck!

  • How do You make it?

  • @MrMiniSwag Hi. This wasn't made. I just bought the Hague MMC steadicam and added the manfrotto head and that's it.

  • Thank you for your reply I have actually found the Hague MMC but not the tripod base that raises the gopro HD. Do you think that I just have to buy a classic tripod head?

    Thank you Sir

  • @absolutesportcamera Hi, If you go to my blog carlpendlephotographyandvideo.blogspot dot com there is a link on there for the head via amazon. I can't put the exact link here because youtube doesn't allow links. Hope you find it.

  • @absolutesportcamera yeah just buy a basic tripod head. Do you have a gopro tripod mount? you have to get that to screw it in to the head. Any only head will work but do a bit of research to get a good one.

  • Hello,

Thank you for your video. I am looking for the same system that you have a Hague MMC with adapter Gopro HD, can you tell me how is called this adapter and where did you buy all your equipment.

Thank you in advance for your respond

you can me write on contact@absolutesport.fr

  • @absolutesportcamera I can't remember where I bought all my equipment because it was over a year ago. They were all uk companies. All I did was googled them and a few online shops turned up. Give it a try. If you are based in France I'm sure there are companies in your country that sell them.
