    kthnxbye

  • dooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuche baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag

  • omg

  • Wonderful -- great creative minds, you guys! The progressively shorter shirts making the water rise is particularly brilliant.

  • oh yeah if I'd be the model: "The number of women who stopped by to see him with his shirt off: 0" .... I'm going to commit suicide :.<

  • Cool, but the more I watch videos like that, the more I start thinking about how BORED people actually are. I mean .. what the hell? Imagine aliens watching over us.. 1 guy wears 155 shirts to do a record, 1 wears 150 different ones to make a moving image... etc.. We'd seem nuts. :D

  • how many times woman came to see him:

    17. :)

    lmao. awsome commercial.

  • frankly, i'm not surprised. sexy-sexy :P

  • very niso!!!!! me lika!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that was cool!!!

  • wow nice

  • This is stop-motion, not a flipbook!! But it's really really REALLY REALLY cool, anyway! :P

  • this is how they made the flipbook retard

  • yea and then it shows the commercial again...

  • Wow, that's amazing!

  • 10!

    100!

    1000!

    1000000000000!!!!!

    woooooooow! KKKKKKKKK

    :)

  • that dude had a nice chest.

  • Thats not a flipbook, it's stop motion. They are completely different.

  • They are not, they are both a series of still images put together to create the illusion of movement, an animation.

  • Have you considered making an animation set up where the shirts can be viewed? This could be a fast rotating viewing device, that flashes black in between shirts, thus giving the animation effect. Seems like way too much work not to keep all of the shirts together in a climate-controlled place. As much as everyone wants a souvenir shirt, I'd say: Don't break up the set! -Highway Cinema

  • Very well done! It's refreshing to see some traditional techniques of stop-frame animation done with a modern video camera. Did the final video stay true to the original storyboards? You guys should, work in "creative" somewhere. Cheers, Highway Cinema

  • Well, it´s awesome what you did, but If I hadn´t seen the "how was done vid" I could think it was a video ovelay with the toons over the photos.

  • i apreciate the effort but like 48 hours to make that.. lol..

  • cant u read not ina mean way but it said it took them 9 hours

  • musn't be easy!!!

  • Erberts and gerberts is awesome my dad is the assistant manager and my uncle is the manager =]

  • JODER TIO KE PASADA

  • coool i hope there will be more human flipbooks in the future , maybe not by u 2 ure porbablee flippooped

  • true patience required - howsomever, the effect would have been just as good on colored paper with a person's hand scootin' the little guy around - you should have added foghorn leghorn and cissy chicken to one of the shirts - but then, i wasn't the producer

  • is it impolite to ask how much these superly patient people were paid? hah

  • yes.

  • Wow, I'm impressed.

  • Oops read the tag.. it says subs..

I figured there was a erbert and gerbert printing press unrelated or somthign :P

    confused me..

    I ATE YOUR GUTS!

  • Isnt erbert and gerbert a food sub place?

There is a erbert and gerbert sub place in bemidji, mn.

  • No, Erbert & Gerbert's Subs worth discovering is not a food sub place, but a nuclear submarine manufacturer... wow, watch the video before commenting, it's a fucking comercial, it's actualy very clear what theyre advertising once you actualy WATCH THE FUCKING VIDEO!

  • props dudes

  • I don't know what that had to do with hilary clinton but, what the hell, please view searchword wilburjr-thanks.

  • Original and intertaining. Realising all the efforts put into this project, it definatly diserves my five stars !

  • nice:)

  • nice work!

  • i like sandwiches too

  • two thumbs up!

  • We miss your subs. Open an E and G in Seattle please. great flip book

  • Next video with this music: Johnny Hallyday Mon Fils. Live. Superclip.

  • yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

  • That was really awesome! ;D

  • exelente uso de la creatividad, con "bajos recursos", lo unico malo esque ya se habia visto, y no es muy barato tampoco, pero muy entretenido...

  • This commercial made me interested in the company, much more so than if they did a conventional ad.

    Sandwiches are great.

  • i LOVE it!!!!!!!!!

  • Actually armorblade i think the point was more to do something original more then to market something, why beat a market to death when you can get a mark for originality, even if the person asking for said commercial doesnt get what they want, artistism before commercialism

  • hell yeah, more artistism!

  • Way cool!

  • Innovative - but a huge waste of money for an advertisement that wasn't all that pursuasive when something more direct would've been clearer.

  • That huge figure of money was the AVG amount for an advert, this one didn't cost that much...

  • weird but cool

  • Good work, dudes!

  • so creative and so much effort!!! Super Cool!!!

  • You guys rule!

  • Now that's what i call creative! Keep it up guys, wow!

  • tht was pretty awesome

  • it would only be better if all those shirts were edible and at the end the model ate one of them in fast motion.

  • they could've just cut away with crinkly scissors like they did with the water part, hahaha it'd look like he was eating it

  • Damn...that's pretty cool.

  • That was really cool!

  • who cares!

  • OMG This HAS to be one of, if not thee, coolest thing I've ever seen... That's so awesome... true dedication for those 2 guys to do all that stuff by themselves... AMAZING

  • Tight!

  • That was pretty cool.

  • Very cool I love this!!

  • Clever, inventive and original. Absolutely brilliant.

    11/10

  • Absolutely brilliant - very clever, original and inventive.

    11/10

  • oh that was great! creative and well done.. thanks for putting it up!

  • Interesting concept, I'd like to see you keep adding to the same shirts over/over/over until you have a crazy insane animatory explosion..50 stories at once that interact and a small sign language hand speaking the message..and on a shirt no less..

  • Very cool! It was so short for such a long procedure, though! Oh well, it was wtill worth it.

  • Coolio

  • amazing love those t-shirts

  • so ummmmmm?? what r u selling? :/

  • sorry.... but its lame

    but nice try though...

sound effects were a huge turn off

  • That was amazing, Very Nice.

  • You guys are brilliant. Insane, but brilliant.

  • so are any of these shirts for sale?

  • we're working on the t-shirt front.

    stay tuned!

  • i would be willing to buy one of the shirts if they ar eon sale

  • best subs ever

  • wow, that was sooo awesome!

  • Absolutely fantastic. & cute intern.

  • lol

  • pretty damn sweet. If you watch it a few times you realize the craftsmanship put into this thing. i like the change of colors to match the scene, then the water rising, then the dudes fingers throwing up the fireworks

  • awesome!!

  • Bravo, bravo! A brilliant idea. Well done and very inventive. Who is erbert & Gerbert?

  • Really nice job.

  • Cool idea, could have done the entire thing in a video compositing program like After Effects and saved a lot of time and money. But still cool idea :)

  • Send the intern my way. He was a hottie.

  • Amen!

  • wow alot of time and hard work to make this very excellent vid. nice job guys.

  • They could probably raise money for a local charity by selling the shirts in an auction. The shirts (and this commercial and Erbert and Gerbert) are awesome.

  • excellently done!

  • Lame attempt at trying to be funny

  • the intern is yummylicious.

  • you rock!! that's amazing!

  • awesome job, the patience and consistency needed to pull this off leaves me speechless!

Thanx for sharin' and keep up the good work!

p.s. the turkey sand with alfalfa sprouts sounded mighty tasty, gotta try that one of these days!

  • The "making of" was a lot more interesting than the flip book commercial.

  • Wait...did they just say 140,000 years? I SMELL FUNDIES!

  • nice 1 good work, long work

  • objective accomplished---we went to get erbert and gerberts after watching this

  • I sure wish i had that much money and time to waste.

  • that is boss.

took like ages, and lasted like 30 seconds.

but it was deffo worth it.

    CONGRATSSS :)

  • I was born in 1987! =D I work at an Erbs & Gerbs in Wisconsin -- I love it. ;3 I personally recommend the Flash and the Haley's Comet plus turkey and cheese. xD

Kudos to all the people involved in making this commercial! It's such a neat concept!

I wonder which sandwhich the little guy is eating on the T-shirt. *lol* ^-^

  • Erbs and Gerbs is a sandwich franchise?!! Something similar to SUBWAY?

  • Wow!!! So much hard work for a 30 second gig, but you all make it look easy! Fascinating. Simply fascinating. Great video. I'm very impressed! Look forward to seeing your future videos. It's videos like this that give YouTube a good name. Kudos!

  • cute
