This video is good in the sense that it conveys to boys that it's not only girls who need to be wary of strangers. Boys must also take precautions to protect their own safety. Not hitchhiking is a no-brainer. The problem with this video is that it conveys the message that all homosexuals are pedophiles, which is no more true than saying that all heterosexuals are pedophiles. Ralph being gay wasn't the issue, the issue was he chose to take advantage of an underage boy to gratify himself.
as a gay man, I have to say that I have met many old gay men that are JUST LIKE THIS... I don't care how many of the liberals or LGBT flamers bash me for saying this but there are a lot of pedophiles in the "LGBT community" (what a joke that term is, as a masculine gay guy I am treated like shit by most of the flamers and bulldykes in that group, most have diseases and drug addictions too) and "LGBT" people: this type of shit will exist once you stop acting like this doesn't exist among gays...
@MrSpemat Pedophilia isn't the same thing as same-sex attraction. Gays are not pedophiles. Also, perhaps you aren't treated badly because you don't fit the stereotype, but because you call effeminate gay men flamers and masculine women bulldykes. I'm gay. I don't have any diseases. I havn't even had sex. I don't know any gay people with drug addictions and I have a lot of gay friends. I would consider them a part of the LGBT community.
• Abused [male] adolescents, particularly those victimized by males, were up to 7 times more likely to self-identify as gay or bisexual than peers who had not been abused. W.C. Holmes and G.B. Slap, "Sexual Abuse of Boys," JAMA, Dec. 2, 1998, p. 1859.
. A study by Abel et al of 377 nonincarcerated, non-incest-related pedophiles, found that heterosexual pedophiles on average reported abusing 19.8 children and committing 23.2 acts, whereas homosexual pedophiles had abused 150.2 children and committed 281.7 acts. These studies confirm law enforcement reports about the serial nature of the crime, Abel GG,
. Self-reported sex crimes of nonincarcerated paraphiliacs. J Interpers Violence. 1987;2:3-25
90% of priest abusers target teenage boys as their victims.. Relatively little attention has been paid to this phenomenon by Church authorities. Perhaps it is feared that it will call attention to the disproportionate number of gay priests.” D. Cozzens, The Changing Face of the Priesthood, pp. 123-124
• Homosexuals do not want you to know that many of them were sexually abused when young, because many people who were so abused go on to molest others. And homosexuals do not want you to know that they are more likely to molest children than heterosexuals are. Ray Blanchard, et al., "Fraternal Birth Order and Sexual Orientation in Pedophiles," Archives of Sexual Behavior 29 (2000), p. 464
You will never convince me or any other normal person that this is normal. It goes against the natural design, whether you believe in God or not. People with perverse ideas never can admith that they are wrong. If they did they would never recover. Homosexuals put too much emphasison sex in their lives. That's not normal either. It stems from the modern lifestyle and too much free time, plus too much influence from purient entertainment .It all results in a snowballing of devience.
May God in heaven redeem those homosexual perverts inspite of themselves. Or else God will have go back and apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. Not happened. Guess what he will do, besides not go back on his word.
@gerty335 there is no god, so why even bring this non-existent being into this discussion? And, secondly, you're just upset because gay men have better sex than you have. Get over it. I know you can never experienced a true orgasm, but you can at least dream about it. Anyone who can't see the beauty in a big muscular hairy chested man is someone to pity. Enjoy your vaginal blood! I'll enjoy my husband's big fat cock and hairy chest.
@gerty335 hell yes I'm proud to be queer. Who wouldn't be? I'm more likely to earn more money than my straight counterparts, more likely to have a higher education, I have better sex more often, and I'm shown to be superior to straights at raising children. Now do you wonder why heterosexuals don't have a "pride parade?" You have nothing to be proud of, do you?
@gerty335 here are the accomplishments of the heterosexual community:
1 a staggering 98 percent of child molesters are heterosexual men.
2 teen pregnancy
3 abortion
4 unwanted, and abandoned children
5 abuse of women (one in four women is abused by a heterosexual male)
6 the highest rate of violent offenders is by far heterosexual males, even when compared per capita with gay males Still proud to be straight? LOL! By the way, are you male or female? I have yet to figure you out.
@gerty335 so, you thought that blocking me from leaving comments on your profile page would prevent me from getting my message across to you? Have you forgotten already that gay men have larger brains than straight men (scientifically PROVEN):
What the Gay Brain Looks Like, Alice Park, time com, 2008
@gerty335 let's not forget that if your 'god" created everything, then he also created homosexuals, because we're being born every day. There is nothing Christian assholes, such as yourself, can do to stop it, is there?
@gerty335 didn't you ever stop to wonder why the gay population has been relatively the same throughout the history of the world in ALL cultures? There has never been a culture where homosexuality didn't exist alongside heterosexuality. Ditto for the animal kingdom. I think your sky fairy had a plan. Now, the question is: why did he create some animals and humans homosexual? I thank Jesus every day that I was born gay.
@lisztnut No God didnt create homosexual animals, animals are incapable of making moral decisions.
The two legged man is the one that has the ability and concsious to make moral judgements and decisions like whether or not to become a homosexual, deviant, child molester, bank robber, liberal, etc etc.
Its your decision to make and yours alone. God will not make you do right or wrong, its yours and yours alone.
@gerty335 here's your mistake, Gerty: homosexuality isn't a moral issue, anymore than being female or black is a moral issue. It was the religious freaks of the world, such as you and your "husband" Berty, that made it into a moral issue. The "holy books' of every religion were concocted by heterosexual men. That's why they mention male homosexuality but conveniently leave out any reference to female homosexuality. Why is that, Gerty?
@gerty335 my decision was to be TRUE to my innate sexual orientation. Science says that it cannot be changed in any case, so these stupid Christian "ex-gays" live miserable lives as liars. They are not happy people, in case you aren't aware. There was a recent study about this, and most of the spouses of "ex-gays' are supremely dissatisfied to be in relationships in which their spouses truly don't love them, but are thinking of the same gender.
@gerty335 there is no God, Gerty, so that's a moot point. But, I will say that the Catholic church actually gets this right. They acknowledge that people are BORN gay, and have no control over this. They encourage gay people not to "pretend" to be straight, as that would be lying, but rather they tell gay people to remain celibate. At least they acknowledge what science teaches which is:
Sexual orientation is not a choice and cannot be changed.
@lisztnut Everyone is born into a sinful world and in need of a saviour. That is to escape a place like Hell, you need a guarantee or option out. That would be Christ Jesus who was born of a virgin, and without sin. He died for the sins of all the world past and present. There is a catch, you have to acknowledge him, and turn from your sinful lifestyle, which includes lesbian homosexual lifestyles. Its your choice.
@gerty335 Newsflash: Jesus wasn't born of a virgin. That's a biblical myth, and it is no surprise that an idiot like you would believe such nonsense. No. 2- there is no such thing as "sin.' This is a man-made concept meant to scare people into believing in the god myth. And, regardless of that fact, there is no consensus about what constitutes a sin. It seems this is where the "personal choice" comes in. Some people think that killing is a sin, and yet thousands of Christians own guns!
@lisztnut Everyone has a lifestyle and the female gay has theres as well. Not everyone goes along with these choices. But everyone must make a choice for themselves.
@gerty335 some advice for you: learn some English. You meant "theirs" not "theres." And, I'm male, not a female, so I'm not a lesbian. On the other hand, your gender has yet to be determined because you have both male and female names on your profile page. Confused? There's help for that. There is also help if you want to learn to spell properly.
@gerty335 apparently you can't distinguish an innate, immutable characteristic, such as gender, race or sexual orientation, from a "lifestyle" choice, such as smoking, going to church, or living in the suburbs. Let me explain it this way, people cannot choose to be gay or straight, whereas they can choose to smoke, go to church or live in a suburb. Marriage is also a lifestyle choice, and it happens to be the choice I made three years ago. Here I am, having been married three years.
@lisztnut Why is that Dr Phil and others are suggesting time for a child to DECIDE what gender that they want to be later in life? ITs becuase of confusion in our society. Just becuase they think its okay to chose a different gender, then why not decide to become a well hung cha wa wa dog, or an arangatang.
Homosexual lifestyles are just as much a choice to make as the gender issue. You decide you chose.
@gerty335 I find your comment about gender confusion, which is COMPLETELY unrelated to sexual orientation, to be most amusing coming from someone who can't make up your mind which gender YOU are. Are you Bert or Gerty?
@gerty335 lol seriously? You think being gay is a choice? Then tell me when you chose to be straight. Tell me the exact moment when you said "I am attracted to women. I'm going to be with women". You can't, because homosexuality and heterosexuality is a genetic issue. There is science backing that up. All that backs up what you are saying is out-dated ideals.
@CollapseGenTV We make choices everyday, you decide what to wear, what to eat, and rather or not to run the red light or stop. You decide not to eat the extra donut because you think yout fat.
Is Bullimia Nevosa genetic, or is it a response to a unatual fear? Is Beastiality or Necrophelia genetic or is it a decisional thing? You see the contradiction in your thinking. Becuase you refuse to identify the day a decision was made, that doesnt mean that it wasnt a choice.
@gerty335 incidentally, being left handed isn't a choice nor a lifestyle, either. It's an innate characteristic, just as being homosexual is an innate human characteristic, which cannot be changed.
@gerty335 and, hell yes, animals ARE homosexual, dumbass. Whether you can accept it or not, 7000 species of animals mate with same sex partners and some of them do this for life, and also raise the young of their species. I know it's not in your bible, but that's because that's because the idiots who concocted your bible didn't have scientific knowledge at that time. They also thought the earth was flat, Gerty.
The majority of Child molestors are the Relatives of the child, and most child murders are committed by parents. Politicians cant win votes pointing this out, so they push stranger danger, and pass stupid laws that does nothing but cause hysteria, and thus getting the votes. Tell people what they want to hear, thats the KEY! ;-)
Homosexuality was always considered a mental disorder until the gay rights proponents FORCED the American Psychological Association to change that classification. But that does not changed the facts. Homosexuality is an abnormal mal-adjustment and psychologocal disorder. Money, pressure, and politics can not change the truth. Whether its in-born or acquired, its still a disorder, same as any other COMPULSION or ADDICTION.
@Wanda7771 no, everything you've written here happens to be false. Let me correct you. First off many psychiatrists, who were gay, protested the removal of homosexuality as an illness from the APA because they saw a loss of patients and income when gays were suddenly "cured" of their imaginary illness. Homosexuality is just as normal as heterosexuality, and it apparently feels much better sexually. I know you are upset because you have bad sex, but it's not their fault.
What surprises me is that lesbians/homosexuals are actually very violent in thier speach and writings. One former gay said very well, theres nothing GAY about the lesbian lifestyle, its constant jealousy, rage, and unfulfilled desires. The need to be accepted is a strong compulsion. People will go to great lengths to find acceptance, even if it draws perversion. Ifs never to late to change and find peace.
@gerty335 What surprises me is that bigots like you, can't spell. It's 'speech" not "speach." This tells me that you have no education, but I knew that already. And, I'm not lesbian, I'm heterosexual.
@gerty335 there's nothing remotely "Christian" in anything you've written here. All you do is attack people and make judgments when you know nothing about them. It's so typical of bigotry.
@TaneishaRed1990 The registry is for Monetary and political gain. As of Jan, 2008, Everyone who commites Sex crimes and some non sex crimes, must register, whether the judge thinks them a danger or not. THUS putting people who would not normaly be made to register before that date. So , im wondering, how are those that convicted after 2008 any more dangerous than those convicted before 2008.? But states have to enforce it to recieve federal funding! Its all about money!!
@gerty335 gay people don't need your acceptance, nor your approval, they want you to stay the fuck away from the voting booth so that you don't have a say in their civil rights.
its amazing to me all of the people today that refuse to see the light of day. The love darkness, all the while they live like the devil. If you point this out to them, they cry out, unfair, you need to more tolerance. Tell them about Christ, and then they are ready to pick up stones, and demand that parents be thrown in jail for teaching christianity.
Whats new, liberals will never change, but they can flip flop
@gerty335 what does "liberal" or "conservative" have to do with this issue? I never even mentioned politics to you, and you jump on that. Typical judgmental Christian. I think you learn that shit in church, don't you? Does your preacher preach about how Obama is evil and Sarah Palin is a genius?
You stated that you hated your parents for "Forcing to go to church" now all of the sudden your parents are extremely "proud of you" Your living in your own world, of disolusion I'm afraid. I know this is true becuase you defend homosexual perversion buy you say that your heterosexual, now thats liveing in denial, are you Queen yet? You will always be to me, special girl wearing mens shoes.
@gerty335 yes, I hated my parents for mentally abusing me by forcing me into church, of what relationship is that the fact that I've done well in life and made my parents proud of me?
@gerty335 oh, and you might want to learn to spell. The venom in your words can be felt here, because you don't even take the time to write in a calm manner. You Christians are all alike, just hateful people.
The Reverend Michelle Smith, 43, had been a lesbian. She wanted to change her life. She wanted to know if God was really real, She later got involved in the church, and she got baptized. "The first spirit that came out of me was the spirit of lesbianism." She said homosexuality is demonic. Rev. Michelle Smith can be contacted at: smith_m_68@hotmail.com of telephone 837-5975.
The homosexual agenda is to force thier perversion onto others, especially the young and innocent. Rock Hudson intentionally went after young Heterosexual young men, because he thought that it was a great challenge. He died of AIDS later in his life. Sad but true, theres nothing GAY about perversion at all.
@TaneishaRed1990 Let me run it by you this way. The mathematical balance of nature and intelligent design.
Two of a kind can only produce in a game of cards. Two men of the same species cannot procreate offspring. two women of the same kind cannot produce children together without sperm from a male of the SAME species. This the only natural process, and anything other than a MAN and a WOMAN united in sex, or [ invetro fertilization], is a Conterfiet, unholy, nonprofitable, act.
@gerty335 let me run it by you one more time, since you didn't get it the first 50 damn times. Marriage has nothing to do with procreation, and even if it did, this doesn't mean gay people can't have babies. What planet are you from? One million children in America are being raised by homosexual parents, and often those children are BIOLOGICAL children. Open your fucking mind, you idiot.
@gerty335 I sure hope to hell that you have no kids. If you do, they should be removed for abuse. I'm 100 percent serious,. Any parent that tells children there is something wrong with homosexuality should be thrown in jail. In Sweden it is a hate crime to preach against homosexuality from the pulpit, and that's as it should be. You're a bigot, pure and simple. You are the KKK of 2011.
@TaneishaRed1990 Well thank God I live and breath in the USA. I stand on my rights as a citizen the first amendment: freedom of speach. I can worship my God in the way that I desire without any government interference. I can lawfully assemble, and protest any goverment tyranny.
I hope that you can learn tolerance for others that dont believe like you. I will always speak out against perversions, without fear of jail no matter how many legislateurs get in the way of the Bill of rights.
@gerty335 The word "speech" has no "a" in it. Learn to spell. Sure you can worship any sky fairy you want. Nobody is denying you this right. Rather, we're saying that you may NOT use this belief to impose it on our government. It's un-American. I am a heterosexual woman, since when am I discriminated against? And, homosexuality is not a perversion. I've already educated you about that. Homosexuality is just as normal as heterosexuality. And people do NOT have a choice in the matter, idiot.
The National Library of Medicine pubs confirm that sexual orientation is natural, biologically induced in the first trimester of pregnancy, morally neutral, immutable, neither contagious nor learned, bearing no relation to an individuals ability to form deep and lasting relationships, to parent children, to work or to contribute to society. From the American Psychological Association: homosexuality is normal; homosexual relationships are normal.
@gerty335 By the way, the USA is the only nation on earth that had the immoral stupidity to place the rights of gays onto the ballot. In every other country this decision was made by courts or legislatures, NOT voters. I can't believe that we were foolish enough to allow this error to happen. I'm thankful that we have a court system that will correct this error eventually. I might take decades, but eventually I have no doubt gay marriage will be the law in all 50 states. Only a matter of time
@gerty335 in the 1960s (I'm sure you remember that time period) the people of California overwhelmingly voted in favor of Prop 14. In fact 67 percent of the public thought that black people could be denied the right to housing because a landlord didn't want to rent to them. Ronald Reagan said this gem: "If a landlord wants to refuse housing to a NEGRO (his word) it is his right to do so." The Supreme Court invalidated that piece of garbage two years later, just as Prop 8 will be invalidated.
@gerty335 America has a dark history of denying rights to minorities, and for someone of your age to not understand why gay marriage is no different from that, you are a disgrace. As I said, I pity your kids and grandkids because they were raised by a blatant and unrepentant BIGOT. You are a nasty person, and I think you don't deserve to have kids. Anyone with your attitude should be arrested for child abuse. I'm serious. If you had a gay child, I bet you'd beat them.
@TaneishaRed1990 Well I;m glad that you show restraint before you might accidently say something you might regret.
Two each his own as they say, life is too short to try to redeem the whole world by myself. The Lord Jesus Christ did not redeem the whole world to himself while he walked it, so I will not take the guilt upon myself to accomphlish something that he would not do then.
I can only say that the Bible is clear, no uncleanness, or perversion, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven ever.
@gerty335 there is no kingdom of heaven, nor god, so why is this even relevant to marriage between two people of the same sex? You bring up something that is completely irrelevant. Religious beliefs don't belong in this discussion of a legal matter. The USA is NOT a theocracy, and nobody is forced to believe in your god. Why are you cramming that shit down my throat? I don't want it. It has no place in this discussion.
@TaneishaRed1990 Okay, lets go back to the original laws brought over from good ol England. It has been illegal to commit the act of Sodomy, and the act of homosexuality was illegal as well.
They are crimes and could be punishable by fines and or imprisonment.
So no matter what you argue, its still unnatural and unhealthy. I see you skirted around the mathematical balance of nature though. Two males of a species cannot procreate, and are useless together.
@gerty335 LOL! You have never heard of "logic" have you? What does England criminalizing homosexuality have to do with anything? That doesn't prove that it's unnatural you fool, that only proves that the religious folks had a say in government. You're such an idiot sometimes. It was also illegal for a white person to marry a black person in America, does this mean it's "unnatural?" Stupid.
@gerty335 I've already said that procreation has nothing to do with marriage. 80 percent of black mothers in the USA don't get married. Tell them that procreation and marriage are related. And, I've also already educated you to the FACT that animals have lifelong mating with same sex partners. Therefore, homosexuality is equally as natural as heterosexuality. Use your brain, or what's left of it. You probably have Alzheimers.
@TaneishaRed1990 Animals only have sex when they do fertilize the egg for offspring. Animals cant have sex with the same sex, thats obsurd to even consider. [Please use your whole mind] If having kids and a family do not have anything to do with getting married and forming a family unit, then why do homosexuals and lesbians want to get married for? Where did you learn this abnormal behavior? Do you see the constant contradiction in your reasoning? It lacks credibility or truth.
@gerty335 LOL! And, I'm going to prove you wrong right now. Are you unaware that 7000 species of animals participate in homosexual behavior, and many of those species exclusively will mate with a same sex partner? See, you had no idea what the fuck you're talking about. Watch this youtube video for proof: Homosexuality in the Animal Kingdom (National Geographic)
@gerty335 Lesbians ARE homosexual, stupid. And, they want to get married because they want the same damn protections of the government that heterosexuals enjoy. And, I've already educated you to the fact that gay couples raise children. Therefore, they want those children to have the same government protections that you take for granted. Use your WHOLE brain, not just the bible part.
@gerty335 It has been estimated that between one and six million children in America are being raised by same sex parents. In addition to that, multiple studies in various countries have proven that gay couples are equal or even better than straights at raising kids. One Canadian government study showed that children of gays have less mental illness, they are better socially adjusted and they tend to choose occupations that are not dictated by gender stereotypes.
@TaneishaRed1990 I hate to say it, but I would advise you to not watch the Comedy Channel for your news and information, unless life is a big joke with no meaning for you. At least thats I how I some up the Comedy Chn. the bevis and butthead, jackass, approach to life in general. I would suggest at this point, [even though Im not Dr Phil], seek some after work counselling to help you sift through these questions that you have, ya see, there isnt much more that I can do for you now Tanesha.
@gerty335 you have serious issues with homosexuality and your opinions are just your own opinions, none of it is based on what science teaches. You can bury your head in your bible and act like a cave man/woman for all I care, but as far as I'm concerned, I will believe what science teaches us, which is that being gay is normal, it's not a mental illness, it's not contagious, it can't be taught and there are no moral judgments with being gay. You are clearly a moron.
@gerty335 I love it when stupid people,. such as yourself, put their foot in their mouths. By you stating that animals aren't homosexual, you have shown your gross ignorance, and I shall education you now. A species of bighorn sheep participates in male on male anal intercourse to ejaculation. EVERY sheep participates in this, and if a male objects he is thrown out of the herd. FACT! Some animals mate with same sex partners for LIFE in monogamous relationships, like humans.
@gerty335 I can guarantee you that my 67 year old aunt didn't get married recently in order to "raise a family!" So, why did she marry, in your view? Is there no reason for her to marry, since she cannot have children at her age?
@TaneishaRed1990 People that have a natural attraction to the opposite sex, will many times look for another partner, even after thier first partner passes on from this life. Thats very natural to want to bond with another person from the opposite sex. Perfectly normal, nothing for you to worry about my dear.
You may want to seek some christian counselling, or group therapy of some kind. It could do you wonders.
I have talked with you for about 3 weeks now, take my advice Tanesha.
@gerty335 it is also perfectly normal for a homosexual person to bond with another partner. Why are you singling gays out as if they aren't human? You have ISSUES, and you need to sort through this, because you are so far out of touch with reality that it's almost laughable to me. You are stuck in 1950 when gays were invisible. NEWSFLASH: gay people aren't going away. They are being born every day, and you can either accept it and move on, or continue to bury yourself in your bible.
@gerty335 if you are getting your scientific info from the bible, I have a newsflash for you: the earth is round, not flat as they thought during biblical times, human beings can't live to 900 years of age, as it says in your bible. Jesus wasn't born of a virgin, this is impossible. Jesus didn't come back from the dead, he died, OK? Your bible is far more entertaining than Comedy Central, and yet you believe that shit. SAD!
@TaneishaRed1990 Well I have drawn one thing from chatting with you. You have an extremely bitter spirit over life, your parents, and yes religion. Someone in church may have done you wrong, welcome to the club.
Life is tough, its tougher for the lost. You remember that term no doubt. LOST: without direction, no hope, A person that doesnt know were there are at present, unable to find thier way.
You will have to forgive your parents, and others before peace will exists.
@gerty335 And, no I don't have a bitter spirit over life. Quite the contrary. I see life in a far more positive light than you do. I see the progress made by gay people and black people and other minorities, and it's all for the good, whereas you see the world crumbling around you. I have news for you, you have already LOST this fight. Gay marriage is inevitable, so I think people should save their energy and money on more worthy causes. Fighting it only paints you as the bigot you are.
@gerty335 you were certainly alive during the black civil rights struggle, don't you see the parallels with the current gay rights movement? It's striking to me. The only thing lacking in the gay rights movement is a Dr. King. They need a strong leader to get people into the streets and protesting. Civil disobedience did a lot for our struggle.
@TaneishaRed1990 No, No, No. There is no parallel for Homosexuals deviant behavior in comparison to the long struggle of black people over the indifference to thier skin color. Thats a con job from lesbians and homos alike. Black people were born black, and were originally forced from thier homelands to come to the US for slavery. Almost 200 years of adequate change. So dont try to compare the perversion of Gay lifestyle choices with a real genuine struggle of civil rights. No way.
@gerty335 yes, yes, yes there IS a parallel for the struggle of homosexuals and blacks. And, it is the same reason that i support the gay rights movement. Gay people don't choose their orientation any more than black people choose our skin color. Anyone who says it's a choice is just wrong, wrong, wrong.
@gerty335 there is no perversion to being gay, and there is no "lifestyle" involved either. I've already educated you about that, yet you continue to be a stupid idiot. What's wrong with you?
@gerty335 I'm also happy that the rightwing Christian fundamentlists have been shown in their own true colors. You are an intolerant bunch of bigots, but I always knew this about you. It's nothing new, having grown up in it.
@TaneishaRed1990 Christianity is the one true tie that binds with whites and blacks, and hispanics, latinos, asians, and native americans alike. We all are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ to cover a mulititude of sins, and break down walls and barriers that Satan uses to cause confusion. If it were not for the christians in all colors and denominations, such as the Baptists of Dr. King, and Alveda King, fighting on the forefront of the Prolife movement. etc.
@gerty335 Christianity is FALSE. There is nothing true about it. I know ALL about it, and I see nothing in it except people who, like you, are judgmental and basically evil inside. Homophobia was caused by religion, and without religion there would be no judgment of gay people. It's WRONG, and I have made it my life 'mission" to help out the gay rights movement. I believe Dr. King would have, too. Coretta Scott King was VERY outspoken in favor of gay rights and gay marriage, as you know.
@gerty335 Coretta said that Martin WOULD have supported gay marriage, because he had an assistant that was a gay man, and he had no problem with it, even though this was kept secret from the black ministers in the community. I think Dr. King was very ahead of his time in this regard. There's still too much religiously based bigotry towards gays in the black community, and I will fight for their rights till my death, because it's the right thing to do. I believe so strongly about this.
@TaneishaRed1990 No thats a bold face lie on your part. Dr Martin L. King Jr was a man of God first and foremost. He was a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, a devoted father, and a extremely disciplined minister of the Gospel. He never condoned perversion of any kind, and if he had still been alive when Jesse Jackson was whoring around with flouseys, he would have chastised him severely. DONT EVER sully dr King;s name with your warped lifestyle choices. You embarrass your parents.
"I still hear people say that I should not be talking about the rights of lesbian and gay people and I should stick to the issue of racial justice... But I hasten to remind them that Martin Luther King, Jr., said, 'Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere' ... I appeal to everyone who believes in Martin Luther King, Jr.'s dream to make room at the table of brotherhood and sisterhood for lesbian and gay people."
@gerty335 "Gay and lesbian people have families, and their families should have legal protection, whether by marriage or civil union. A constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriages is a form of gay bashing, and it would do nothing at all to protect traditional marriages."
@TaneishaRed1990 well done! You made a fool out of that Gerty335 person. Your arguments are rock solid and impossible to disagree with. I admire what you did here. Thanks for the inspiration.
@gerty335 but, I am very pleased by your desperation here. You act just like the KKK did when they were losing ground against black civil rights. You see the handwriting on the wall, because you know your grandchildren have no problem with homosexuals or homosexuality. It pleases me to know end to know that creeps like you will soon be in their grave and gay people will be out and proud and waving their flags. I'll be waving them with them.
@gerty335 She also fought off bigots who would co-opt MLK's message and try to make it their own. In 2002, anti-gay advocates sought to repeal Miami-Dade County’s equal rights law by sending out fliers saying that King would be outraged at its gay-inclusive nature. Coretta responded through a statement put out by saying, "I appeal to everybody who believes in Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream to make room at the table of brother and sisterhood for lesbians and gay people.
@gerty335 ouch, it looks like TaneishaRed1990 read you the riot act and made mincemeat of your arguments here. Good for her! I support everything she said. She was far more eloquent than I could be on this issue, so I'll let you contemplate what she said.
@gerty335 I think Christianity is as capable of evil as is Islam. To my mind Prop 8 in California was the perfect example. It would not have passed without the millions of Mormon and Catholic dollars to spend on anti-gay ads that were mean spirited, and also LIES, nothing but LIES. They actually claimed that gays want to "teach" marriage in schools! LOL I wish I were kidding. Now, tell me WHY would gay people want kids to learn about marriage in school? That's stupid.
@TaneishaRed1990 Your sadly a warped frustrated little man. I have to ask you, do you wear pumps, or heavy solid black mens work shoes? I'd guess the mens work shoes.
I hope you dont put your picture up here and use your real name, it would probably devistate your parents, and send them to a early grave.
Does your mother and father greave over you, and spend endless nights prayer for you? Did you ever stop to think about that?
@gerty335 my parents are extremely proud of me, as they should be! And, no, the frustrated person here is YOU, because you can see the 1950s disappearing before your eyes. Gay people are no longer invisible! You are LOSING this fight, and you know it, and nothing makes me smile more. Have a great day!
@gerty335 gay people are now trying to get gay history taught in school, and I think that's a good thing. It is similar to black history. Gay kids grow up not knowing that many of the greatest human beings in the history of our planet were gay men and women. It's tragic. That's why it's so very important. But, gay marriage in schools? LOL! Too funny. Like, who cares? Why would they want that taught to kids? It makes no sense.
@gerty335 I didn't write this, but I cut and pasted it from someone else. I find it excellent: The "problem" is the same as it was 50 years ago when "Christian" bigots were desperate to keep blacks "in their place". Even the Republican darling Ronald Reagan declared as late as 1964 that he supported white land lords' rights to discriminate against negros who wanted to rent or buy housing. What politician would dare make such a declaration TODAY?
@gerty335 "Gay and lesbian people have families, and their families should have legal protection, whether by marriage or civil union. A constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriages is a form of gay bashing, and it would do nothing at all to protect traditional marriages." left off: those words were spoken by Coretta Scott King
@gerty335 The widow of Martin Luther King Jr. called gay marriage a civil rights issue, denouncing a proposed constitutional amendment that would ban it.
Constitutional amendments should be used to expand freedom, not restrict it, Coretta Scott King said.
@TaneishaRed1990 Another lie from the left benders gay agenda. The homosexual agenda is to twist distort, and confuse the youth of the world. There are many different perversions, but we will tolerate dragging Godly people like DR Martin L King, and his family into the perverse lifestyle of homosexuality. You've been exposed now as a lier, so you might want to run off. I caught you a several differnet lies now. You might want to seek help with your identity crisis, multiple personalities.
@gerty335 Coretta Scott King is hardly a pervert. She was an ardent supporter of gay rights and gay marriage, and she called constitutional amendments to ban gay marriage nothing more than gay bashing. She called it like it is. She also said that the constitution shouldn't be used to limit rights but to expand rights.
@gerty335 you need help with your bigotry, before you take one of those guns that you no doubt have stored in your closet and shoot up a gay bar. You have serious mental issues surrounding homosexuality, and if you don't get it checked out, you WILL explode. I'm a heterosexual woman and I support gay rights. Gay people don't intimidate me as they do you. You have serious issues of paranoia, grandpa (ma). I still don't even know if you are male or female.
@gerty335 “Like Martin, I don’t believe you can stand for freedom for one group of people and deny it to others", she would tell black civil rights leaders angered by gays and lesbians comparing their struggle to their own. She would quote her husband and say, “I have worked too long and hard against segregated public accommodations to end up segregating my moral concern. Justice is indivisible."
@gerty335 I'm saddened to think that you might be married and have NO idea why you got married in the first place. Did you honestly think that the only purpose for you to marry was to have kids? REALLY? That's just sad to me. Does your husband/wife know? I can't tell if you are male or female. Which is it?
@TaneishaRed1990 Im astonished that you could be saddened by anything. I was quickly coming to the conclusion that you were Secular Humanist, liberal, lesbian perhaps, and have a secret turn-on for the deviant sexual taboos. I am a quick study of people, and I think that I have pinged your bell pretty well. If you were a man in gender issues, I would be shocked. I'll bet if I said you have come from a broken home, raised by one parent alone, middle class, public school, no college.
@gerty335 nope, I'm not a lesbian. Think again. I'm an open minded HETEROSEXUAL woman, and I have a brain that isn't closed like your brain clearly is. I still have no idea if you are even male or female, because you haven't told me anything about yourself, except that you are a religious bigot and probably a Republicunt.
@gerty335 you have NO insight into people whatsoever, because I have a college degree! LOL! You are so far off about me as to make me laugh in my belly. You're a pathetic human being, has anyone else told you this? I pity any kids you might have as they deserved better.
@gerty335 you might be interested to know that my father is a minister of the gospel, and I was raised going to church three times a week. Jesus was literally thrust down my throat. It was the closest thing to child abuse. I think any parent that raises a kid this way should be arrested for child abuse. Forcing children into religious beliefs is WRONG, and I always speak out against it. I rejected Christianity when I read the complete bible at 14.
@TaneishaRed1990 Well I am surprised. Guess I didnt peg much at all. I would be interested to know the denomination, but its not that important. Unfortunately I'm afraid one day your wish might come true, to prosecute parents for teaching God, or the Bible and creation etc. With the liberal Stasi government of this Popularist media culture we live in, in conjunction with extremely socialist politicians here in the USA, they just might try and do that very thing.
@gerty335 actually, you might like to know that preaching against homosexuality from the pulpit is a crime in Sweden. But, I think I told you that already. I firmly agree with that. It is no different from when ministers used the gospel to fight against the rights of blacks.
@gerty335 I wish Obama were more socialist, because that's my political leaning. But, he's far too conservative for me. I want the country to have nationalized health care, for one thing, just like the rest of the civilized world. Canada has it, and nobody considers them a communist country. If Brazil can insure all their countrymen, then for damn sure we can.
@TaneishaRed1990 Obama is another example of someone that hasnt a clue to what is truelly needed in the USA to create jobs, he never held a job in his life. Everything was always given to him. Barry Obama sat under a major shameful bigot, the jeremiah wright, a angry and bitter warp frustrated old man, with nothing to offer anyone but hatred and no hope.
We will need to find men like Dr Martin Luther King, that have promise and direction and Christ in thier life. Real men no limp wrists
You can thank America's open homosexual gay community. When a man rapes a boy, gay men say that he, the man, is not homosexual. He raped a boy, he is a homosexual and a pedophile.
@MsPamAnn actually no that makes him a pedophile, and he can be heterosexual, since pedophiles go after children they have the easiest access to, regardless of gender
@gerty335 this is stupid. First off, gay people trust what science says, and that is that one cannot choose nor change their innate sexual orientation. Therefore, the notion that gay people will "recruit" people to be gay is stupidity. If recruitment worked, we'd all be straight, because there isn't a gay person on the planet that wasn't raised in a 100 percent heterosexual environment. We have heterosexuality thrust down our throats from birth till death 24/7. It's a straight parade daily!
@gerty335 and, I'm saying that as a heterosexual woman, mind you. Have you ever noticed that there is never a positive example of a gay couple in ANY TV commercials? Why is that? It's because heterosexuals rule the planet, and they control what's in the media. Until recently, gay people were invisible. It's time for this to stop. I think kids should learn about gay history and the important contributions of the great gay people in history (Michaelangelo, Socrates, Leonardo, Tchaikovsky, etc).
@TaneishaRed1990 Well I think that the modern media has bent over backwards to accomedate the Homosexual gay crowd. Bill/Hiilary Clinton did, Barack Obama has as well. All of TV cable, has constantly had gay straight, taken, Eye for queer eye TV programs. Its constantly being promoted, NY, Iowa, and other states are approving Gay marriage unions. Its not a good thing, but it is creeping into every avenue of life. I dont think God intended it for anyone, not even extremes.
@gerty335 since when is "accommodating" homosexuals a bad thing? You sound like the ignorant racist KKK people who didn't want anything positive to be shown about us black people on TV in the 1950s. Shame on you, bigot. Gay people deserve every bit as much equality and recognition in society as black people or heterosexual, or any group. Are you seriously unaware of the great contributions of gays to society?
@gerty335 and, if "god" didn't intend there to be homosexuals, why have 7000 species of animals been shown to mate with same sex partners for LIFE? Obviously homosexuality is part of a nature, and part of "god's" plan. Anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly ignorant. Gay people are born every day, and there's nothing you can do to stop this. It sounds to me like your an intolerant and bigoted person who is living in the 1950s. You need to get to know a gay person.
@gerty335 and, in case you didn't know it, gay people were invisible before the 1960s. It doesn't mean they weren't in society, it merely means they had to "hide" who they were because of ignorant people such as yourself. I feel sorry for YOU that you cannot come to a place where you can accept gay people for who they are. My heart is warmed by the fact that more and more religious groups are performing and condoning gay marriage. Only a matter of time before ALL of them will do the same.
@gerty335 do you know that women were once treated as gay people are today? Women couldn't vote, women in Saudi Arabia can't drive, women were considered "property" and second class citizens in many cultures. Fortunately, times have changed and people realized this was wrong. The same is happening for gay people today, and it is long overdue. Gay people have always been here, and always will be here. It's time for society to accept and embrace them.
@gerty335 your problem is you are too ignorant because of your narrow religious beliefs, or you live in an area of the country where you've had no contact with gay people. I GUARANTEE you that you have a gay member of your extended family somewhere. Do you remember any aunts and uncles who remained unmarried, for example? EVERY family has gay members, it's a given. And, for you to reject your OWN family is disgraceful and disgusting. What does that say about you as a human being?
@gerty335 as a New Yorker, I'm extremely proud that my state legislature opted to treat gays and lesbians as EQUAL to straights in society. It's about time. Gay people contribute great things to our state. They are superior parents, as well. They deserve the same protection from the government YOU take for granted. But, you never think about anyone but yourself, right?
@TaneishaRed1990 Everyone has thier harvey milk opionions, but thats not true, everyone in the media throughout hollywood have been bending over backwards every since the 80's to accomedate the homosexual agenda. Legislation has been passed in several states for same sex unions , and there will be alot of headaches in the future, with health care, and divorce, and child custody problems as well. What people chose to do in thier privacy is thier own, but it should not be forced on the rest
@gerty335 well, all the ignorant things you said about gay people can be said about YOU as a straight person. Yes, gay people are deserving of the same damn rights you take for granted. This includes health benefits for being married, divorce, child custody, etc. the whole nine yards. And, you seriously didn't know that eight states have already passed gay MARRIAGE (not civil unions) into law? It's about time they are treated EQUALLY under the law. Please get out of the 1950s.
@gerty335 and, why shouldn't school kids learn about the accomplishments and contributions of gay people to society. People like you once opposed the teaching of black issues in schools, it was wrong then and it's wrong now when you oppose gay history in schools. Yes, Hollywood SHOULD bend over backwards and right the wrong that has been historically done to gay people, absolutely. Why should gay people be invisible as if it were 1950 again?
@gerty335 did you seriously not know that the greatest artists, musicians, scientists, politicians and philosophers were all gay men? Really? If so, then this is exactly why it MUST be taught in schools. Gay kids are being bullied and beaten up daily in school, and that's because kids hear their ignorant religious parents saying bad things about gay people. I hate to say it, but I blame Christianity for the abuse of gays in society. It's a fact.
@TaneishaRed1990 No No, thats not true at all. Sometimes gifted people do feel out of step and odd, so they get into some sort of temptation of homosexuality, like in the extremes of prison, military experiences, or college days. Everyone gets to make choices in this life including Harvey Milk. Everyone can live as they choose, and decide to be straight or gay. Its a choice, a lifestyle choice plan and simple. Each person must decide for themselves how they will live each day.
@gerty335 you are quite simply HOPELESS. Homosexuality isn't an "urge" it's a part of someone's identity as is being black, or female or Asian. Nobody chooses what gender they're attracted to, and science proves this. I bet you also didn't know that science has already proven that environment or parenting plays NO role in the formation of sexual orientation. It's pure biology, and we have proof now. This was proven decades ago.
@gerty335 yes, I agree that everyone can choose their sexual BEHAVIOR, this has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Why is your mind so small and closed that you can't accept that you are wrong? The Catholic church even acknowledges that people ARE BORN GAY. Why can't you?
@gerty335 I don't mean to disrespect you, but you have shown that you aren't very educated. I would like to educate you, and that's the reason I come onto youtube in the first place. I would like you to google this article (if you don't know how to google, then ask your grandchild how to do it): Is It a Choice? The Science of Sexual Orientation, libertyforums You will be amazed by what you read. There have been thousands of studies on this issue, and the result: PEOPLE ARE BORN GAY!
@gerty335 incidentally, for everything we've said here about homosexual orientation the same is true of heterosexual orientation. In other words, science doesn't yet know that causes heterosexuality anymore than they know what causes people to be born homosexual. However, the consensus is that neither orientation is chosen, and that there ARE biological components which influence one's innate orientation. Therefore, it is NOT a choice.
@gerty335 if you said that you agree with the Catholic church that being gay is not a choice, but "acting" on your innate orientation through homosexual behavior IS a choice, I would respect you more. However, that's not what you seem to be saying here.
@TaneishaRed1990 I would have to disagree with anyone that supposes that one can be born gay. Gay is a discisional response in life, just as any other pursuit. A person must make choices everyday, and lifestyle choices are no different.
@gerty335 I don't care is you disagree, you happen to be WRONG, and science proves that people are born gay, just as we are born male or Caucasian. And, what does "lifestyle" have to do with any of this? Is it a "lifestyle choice" to be female? Of course not. Grow up, you're being really ignorant now.
@gerty335 The Royal College of Psychiatrists states:
" Despite almost a century of psychoanalytic and psychological speculation, there is no substantive evidence to support the suggestion that the nature of parenting or early childhood experiences play any role in the formation of a person's sexual orientation. Sexual orientation is biological in nature, determined by a complex interplay of genetic factors and the early uterine environment. It is therefore not a choice."

MrSpemat 2 months ago
@MrSpemat have you heard the term "chicken hawk" anyone???
MrSpemat 2 months ago
@MrSpemat Pedophilia isn't the same thing as same-sex attraction. Gays are not pedophiles. Also, perhaps you aren't treated badly because you don't fit the stereotype, but because you call effeminate gay men flamers and masculine women bulldykes. I'm gay. I don't have any diseases. I havn't even had sex. I don't know any gay people with drug addictions and I have a lot of gay friends. I would consider them a part of the LGBT community.

Now do you wonder why heterosexuals don't have a "pride parade?" You have nothing to be proud of, do you?
lisztnut 4 months ago
@gerty335 here are the accomplishments of the heterosexual community:
1 a staggering 98 percent of child molesters are heterosexual men.
2 teen pregnancy
3 abortion
4 unwanted, and abandoned children
5 abuse of women (one in four women is abused by a heterosexual male)
6 the highest rate of violent offenders is by far heterosexual males, even when compared per capita with gay males Still proud to be straight? LOL! By the way, are you male or female? I have yet to figure you out.
lisztnut 4 months ago
@gerty335 so, you thought that blocking me from leaving comments on your profile page would prevent me from getting my message across to you? Have you forgotten already that gay men have larger brains than straight men (scientifically PROVEN):

@gerty335 so, are you Bert, or Gert? Which is it, or a little of both?
lisztnut 4 months ago
@gerty335 let's not forget that if your 'god" created everything, then he also created homosexuals, because we're being born every day. There is nothing Christian assholes, such as yourself, can do to stop it, is there?
lisztnut 4 months ago
@gerty335 didn't you ever stop to wonder why the gay population has been relatively the same throughout the history of the world in ALL cultures? There has never been a culture where homosexuality didn't exist alongside heterosexuality. Ditto for the animal kingdom. I think your sky fairy had a plan. Now, the question is: why did he create some animals and humans homosexual? I thank Jesus every day that I was born gay.
lisztnut 4 months ago
@lisztnut No God didnt create homosexual animals, animals are incapable of making moral decisions.
The two legged man is the one that has the ability and concsious to make moral judgements and decisions like whether or not to become a homosexual, deviant, child molester, bank robber, liberal, etc etc.
Its your decision to make and yours alone. God will not make you do right or wrong, its yours and yours alone.
gerty335 4 months ago
@gerty335 here's your mistake, Gerty: homosexuality isn't a moral issue, anymore than being female or black is a moral issue. It was the religious freaks of the world, such as you and your "husband" Berty, that made it into a moral issue. The "holy books' of every religion were concocted by heterosexual men. That's why they mention male homosexuality but conveniently leave out any reference to female homosexuality. Why is that, Gerty?
lisztnut 4 months ago
@gerty335 my decision was to be TRUE to my innate sexual orientation. Science says that it cannot be changed in any case, so these stupid Christian "ex-gays" live miserable lives as liars. They are not happy people, in case you aren't aware. There was a recent study about this, and most of the spouses of "ex-gays' are supremely dissatisfied to be in relationships in which their spouses truly don't love them, but are thinking of the same gender.
lisztnut 4 months ago
@gerty335 there is no God, Gerty, so that's a moot point. But, I will say that the Catholic church actually gets this right. They acknowledge that people are BORN gay, and have no control over this. They encourage gay people not to "pretend" to be straight, as that would be lying, but rather they tell gay people to remain celibate. At least they acknowledge what science teaches which is:
Sexual orientation is not a choice and cannot be changed.
lisztnut 4 months ago
@lisztnut Everyone is born into a sinful world and in need of a saviour. That is to escape a place like Hell, you need a guarantee or option out. That would be Christ Jesus who was born of a virgin, and without sin. He died for the sins of all the world past and present. There is a catch, you have to acknowledge him, and turn from your sinful lifestyle, which includes lesbian homosexual lifestyles. Its your choice.
gerty335 4 months ago
@gerty335 Newsflash: Jesus wasn't born of a virgin. That's a biblical myth, and it is no surprise that an idiot like you would believe such nonsense. No. 2- there is no such thing as "sin.' This is a man-made concept meant to scare people into believing in the god myth. And, regardless of that fact, there is no consensus about what constitutes a sin. It seems this is where the "personal choice" comes in. Some people think that killing is a sin, and yet thousands of Christians own guns!
lisztnut 4 months ago
@gerty335 No. 3- there is no such thing as a 'lesbian" lifestyle, and No. 4- I'm male, so why would I care in any case?

@gerty335 some advice for you: learn some English. You meant "theirs" not "theres." And, I'm male, not a female, so I'm not a lesbian. On the other hand, your gender has yet to be determined because you have both male and female names on your profile page. Confused? There's help for that. There is also help if you want to learn to spell properly.
lisztnut 4 months ago
@gerty335 apparently you can't distinguish an innate, immutable characteristic, such as gender, race or sexual orientation, from a "lifestyle" choice, such as smoking, going to church, or living in the suburbs. Let me explain it this way, people cannot choose to be gay or straight, whereas they can choose to smoke, go to church or live in a suburb. Marriage is also a lifestyle choice, and it happens to be the choice I made three years ago. Here I am, having been married three years.
lisztnut 4 months ago
@lisztnut Why is that Dr Phil and others are suggesting time for a child to DECIDE what gender that they want to be later in life? ITs becuase of confusion in our society. Just becuase they think its okay to chose a different gender, then why not decide to become a well hung cha wa wa dog, or an arangatang.
Homosexual lifestyles are just as much a choice to make as the gender issue. You decide you chose.
Then make your bed. Cheese or no cheese.

lisztnut 4 months ago
@gerty335 lol seriously? You think being gay is a choice? Then tell me when you chose to be straight. Tell me the exact moment when you said "I am attracted to women. I'm going to be with women". You can't, because homosexuality and heterosexuality is a genetic issue. There is science backing that up. All that backs up what you are saying is out-dated ideals.

They also thought the earth was flat, Gerty.
lisztnut 4 months ago
@gerty335 the people who concocted your bible had many things wrong:
1 they thought humans were "created" 6000 years ago, when in fact humans have been on earth 1.4 million years before that.
2 they thought humans could live 900 years. This is a blatant LIE!
3 they thought Jesus was born of a virgin (whatever....!).
4 they thought Jesus died and came back to life. (another lie).
5 they thought that Jonah got swallowed by a whale and came out of it alive. Gerty, you are very gullible!

Wanda7771 5 months ago
@Wanda7771 no, everything you've written here happens to be false. Let me correct you. First off many psychiatrists, who were gay, protested the removal of homosexuality as an illness from the APA because they saw a loss of patients and income when gays were suddenly "cured" of their imaginary illness. Homosexuality is just as normal as heterosexuality, and it apparently feels much better sexually. I know you are upset because you have bad sex, but it's not their fault.
TaneishaRed1990 4 months ago
@Wanda7771 prove its a disorder AMD that homosexuals forced the APA to take it off the list

Ifs never to late to change and find peace.
gerty335 5 months ago
@gerty335 What surprises me is that bigots like you, can't spell. It's 'speech" not "speach." This tells me that you have no education, but I knew that already. And, I'm not lesbian, I'm heterosexual.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 there's nothing remotely "Christian" in anything you've written here. All you do is attack people and make judgments when you know nothing about them. It's so typical of bigotry.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 The registry is for Monetary and political gain. As of Jan, 2008, Everyone who commites Sex crimes and some non sex crimes, must register, whether the judge thinks them a danger or not. THUS putting people who would not normaly be made to register before that date. So , im wondering, how are those that convicted after 2008 any more dangerous than those convicted before 2008.? But states have to enforce it to recieve federal funding! Its all about money!!
Dreambro1 5 months ago
@gerty335 gay people don't need your acceptance, nor your approval, they want you to stay the fuck away from the voting booth so that you don't have a say in their civil rights.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
its amazing to me all of the people today that refuse to see the light of day. The love darkness, all the while they live like the devil. If you point this out to them, they cry out, unfair, you need to more tolerance. Tell them about Christ, and then they are ready to pick up stones, and demand that parents be thrown in jail for teaching christianity.
Whats new, liberals will never change, but they can flip flop
gerty335 5 months ago
@gerty335 what does "liberal" or "conservative" have to do with this issue? I never even mentioned politics to you, and you jump on that. Typical judgmental Christian. I think you learn that shit in church, don't you? Does your preacher preach about how Obama is evil and Sarah Palin is a genius?
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
You stated that you hated your parents for "Forcing to go to church" now all of the sudden your parents are extremely "proud of you" Your living in your own world, of disolusion I'm afraid. I know this is true becuase you defend homosexual perversion buy you say that your heterosexual, now thats liveing in denial, are you Queen yet? You will always be to me, special girl wearing mens shoes.
gerty335 5 months ago
@gerty335 yes, I hated my parents for mentally abusing me by forcing me into church, of what relationship is that the fact that I've done well in life and made my parents proud of me?
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago

Sad but true, theres nothing GAY about perversion at all.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 BULLSHIT, Rock Hudson had nothing to do with children. And, 98 percent of men who molest children are STRAIGHT, you idiot.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 where do you get this shit that you spew here? It's revolting. I wish that you had gay kids because it would teach YOU a lesson you bigot.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Let me run it by you this way. The mathematical balance of nature and intelligent design.
Two of a kind can only produce in a game of cards. Two men of the same species cannot procreate offspring. two women of the same kind cannot produce children together without sperm from a male of the SAME species. This the only natural process, and anything other than a MAN and a WOMAN united in sex, or [ invetro fertilization], is a Conterfiet, unholy, nonprofitable, act.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 let me run it by you one more time, since you didn't get it the first 50 damn times. Marriage has nothing to do with procreation, and even if it did, this doesn't mean gay people can't have babies. What planet are you from? One million children in America are being raised by homosexual parents, and often those children are BIOLOGICAL children. Open your fucking mind, you idiot.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 I sure hope to hell that you have no kids. If you do, they should be removed for abuse. I'm 100 percent serious,. Any parent that tells children there is something wrong with homosexuality should be thrown in jail. In Sweden it is a hate crime to preach against homosexuality from the pulpit, and that's as it should be. You're a bigot, pure and simple. You are the KKK of 2011.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Well thank God I live and breath in the USA. I stand on my rights as a citizen the first amendment: freedom of speach. I can worship my God in the way that I desire without any government interference. I can lawfully assemble, and protest any goverment tyranny.
I hope that you can learn tolerance for others that dont believe like you. I will always speak out against perversions, without fear of jail no matter how many legislateurs get in the way of the Bill of rights.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 The word "speech" has no "a" in it. Learn to spell. Sure you can worship any sky fairy you want. Nobody is denying you this right. Rather, we're saying that you may NOT use this belief to impose it on our government. It's un-American. I am a heterosexual woman, since when am I discriminated against? And, homosexuality is not a perversion. I've already educated you about that. Homosexuality is just as normal as heterosexuality. And people do NOT have a choice in the matter, idiot.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 By the way, the USA is the only nation on earth that had the immoral stupidity to place the rights of gays onto the ballot. In every other country this decision was made by courts or legislatures, NOT voters. I can't believe that we were foolish enough to allow this error to happen. I'm thankful that we have a court system that will correct this error eventually. I might take decades, but eventually I have no doubt gay marriage will be the law in all 50 states. Only a matter of time
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 in the 1960s (I'm sure you remember that time period) the people of California overwhelmingly voted in favor of Prop 14. In fact 67 percent of the public thought that black people could be denied the right to housing because a landlord didn't want to rent to them. Ronald Reagan said this gem: "If a landlord wants to refuse housing to a NEGRO (his word) it is his right to do so." The Supreme Court invalidated that piece of garbage two years later, just as Prop 8 will be invalidated.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 America has a dark history of denying rights to minorities, and for someone of your age to not understand why gay marriage is no different from that, you are a disgrace. As I said, I pity your kids and grandkids because they were raised by a blatant and unrepentant BIGOT. You are a nasty person, and I think you don't deserve to have kids. Anyone with your attitude should be arrested for child abuse. I'm serious. If you had a gay child, I bet you'd beat them.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Well I;m glad that you show restraint before you might accidently say something you might regret.
Two each his own as they say, life is too short to try to redeem the whole world by myself. The Lord Jesus Christ did not redeem the whole world to himself while he walked it, so I will not take the guilt upon myself to accomphlish something that he would not do then.
I can only say that the Bible is clear, no uncleanness, or perversion, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven ever.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 there is no kingdom of heaven, nor god, so why is this even relevant to marriage between two people of the same sex? You bring up something that is completely irrelevant. Religious beliefs don't belong in this discussion of a legal matter. The USA is NOT a theocracy, and nobody is forced to believe in your god. Why are you cramming that shit down my throat? I don't want it. It has no place in this discussion.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Okay, lets go back to the original laws brought over from good ol England. It has been illegal to commit the act of Sodomy, and the act of homosexuality was illegal as well.
They are crimes and could be punishable by fines and or imprisonment.
So no matter what you argue, its still unnatural and unhealthy. I see you skirted around the mathematical balance of nature though. Two males of a species cannot procreate, and are useless together.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 LOL! You have never heard of "logic" have you? What does England criminalizing homosexuality have to do with anything? That doesn't prove that it's unnatural you fool, that only proves that the religious folks had a say in government. You're such an idiot sometimes. It was also illegal for a white person to marry a black person in America, does this mean it's "unnatural?" Stupid.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 I've already said that procreation has nothing to do with marriage. 80 percent of black mothers in the USA don't get married. Tell them that procreation and marriage are related. And, I've also already educated you to the FACT that animals have lifelong mating with same sex partners. Therefore, homosexuality is equally as natural as heterosexuality. Use your brain, or what's left of it. You probably have Alzheimers.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Animals only have sex when they do fertilize the egg for offspring. Animals cant have sex with the same sex, thats obsurd to even consider. [Please use your whole mind] If having kids and a family do not have anything to do with getting married and forming a family unit, then why do homosexuals and lesbians want to get married for? Where did you learn this abnormal behavior? Do you see the constant contradiction in your reasoning? It lacks credibility or truth.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 LOL!
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 Lesbians ARE homosexual, stupid. And, they want to get married because they want the same damn protections of the government that heterosexuals enjoy. And, I've already educated you to the fact that gay couples raise children. Therefore, they want those children to have the same government protections that you take for granted. Use your WHOLE brain, not just the bible part.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 It has been estimated that between one and six million children in America are being raised by same sex parents. In addition to that, multiple studies in various countries have proven that gay couples are equal or even better than straights at raising kids. One Canadian government study showed that children of gays have less mental illness, they are better socially adjusted and they tend to choose occupations that are not dictated by gender stereotypes.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 I hate to say it, but I would advise you to not watch the Comedy Channel for your news and information, unless life is a big joke with no meaning for you. At least thats I how I some up the Comedy Chn. the bevis and butthead, jackass, approach to life in general. I would suggest at this point, [even though Im not Dr Phil], seek some after work counselling to help you sift through these questions that you have, ya see, there isnt much more that I can do for you now Tanesha.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 you have serious issues with homosexuality and your opinions are just your own opinions, none of it is based on what science teaches. You can bury your head in your bible and act like a cave man/woman for all I care, but as far as I'm concerned, I will believe what science teaches us, which is that being gay is normal, it's not a mental illness, it's not contagious, it can't be taught and there are no moral judgments with being gay. You are clearly a moron.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 I love it when stupid people,. such as yourself, put their foot in their mouths. By you stating that animals aren't homosexual, you have shown your gross ignorance, and I shall education you now. A species of bighorn sheep participates in male on male anal intercourse to ejaculation. EVERY sheep participates in this, and if a male objects he is thrown out of the herd. FACT! Some animals mate with same sex partners for LIFE in monogamous relationships, like humans.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 I can guarantee you that my 67 year old aunt didn't get married recently in order to "raise a family!" So, why did she marry, in your view? Is there no reason for her to marry, since she cannot have children at her age?
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 People that have a natural attraction to the opposite sex, will many times look for another partner, even after thier first partner passes on from this life. Thats very natural to want to bond with another person from the opposite sex. Perfectly normal, nothing for you to worry about my dear.
You may want to seek some christian counselling, or group therapy of some kind. It could do you wonders.
I have talked with you for about 3 weeks now, take my advice Tanesha.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 it is also perfectly normal for a homosexual person to bond with another partner. Why are you singling gays out as if they aren't human? You have ISSUES, and you need to sort through this, because you are so far out of touch with reality that it's almost laughable to me. You are stuck in 1950 when gays were invisible. NEWSFLASH: gay people aren't going away. They are being born every day, and you can either accept it and move on, or continue to bury yourself in your bible.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 if you are getting your scientific info from the bible, I have a newsflash for you: the earth is round, not flat as they thought during biblical times, human beings can't live to 900 years of age, as it says in your bible. Jesus wasn't born of a virgin, this is impossible. Jesus didn't come back from the dead, he died, OK? Your bible is far more entertaining than Comedy Central, and yet you believe that shit. SAD!
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Well I have drawn one thing from chatting with you. You have an extremely bitter spirit over life, your parents, and yes religion. Someone in church may have done you wrong, welcome to the club.
Life is tough, its tougher for the lost. You remember that term no doubt. LOST: without direction, no hope, A person that doesnt know were there are at present, unable to find thier way.
You will have to forgive your parents, and others before peace will exists.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 And, no I don't have a bitter spirit over life. Quite the contrary. I see life in a far more positive light than you do. I see the progress made by gay people and black people and other minorities, and it's all for the good, whereas you see the world crumbling around you. I have news for you, you have already LOST this fight. Gay marriage is inevitable, so I think people should save their energy and money on more worthy causes. Fighting it only paints you as the bigot you are.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 you were certainly alive during the black civil rights struggle, don't you see the parallels with the current gay rights movement? It's striking to me. The only thing lacking in the gay rights movement is a Dr. King. They need a strong leader to get people into the streets and protesting. Civil disobedience did a lot for our struggle.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 No, No, No. There is no parallel for Homosexuals deviant behavior in comparison to the long struggle of black people over the indifference to thier skin color. Thats a con job from lesbians and homos alike. Black people were born black, and were originally forced from thier homelands to come to the US for slavery. Almost 200 years of adequate change. So dont try to compare the perversion of Gay lifestyle choices with a real genuine struggle of civil rights. No way.
gerty335 5 months ago
@gerty335 yes, yes, yes there IS a parallel for the struggle of homosexuals and blacks. And, it is the same reason that i support the gay rights movement. Gay people don't choose their orientation any more than black people choose our skin color. Anyone who says it's a choice is just wrong, wrong, wrong.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 there is no perversion to being gay, and there is no "lifestyle" involved either. I've already educated you about that, yet you continue to be a stupid idiot. What's wrong with you?
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 I'm also happy that the rightwing Christian fundamentlists have been shown in their own true colors. You are an intolerant bunch of bigots, but I always knew this about you. It's nothing new, having grown up in it.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Christianity is the one true tie that binds with whites and blacks, and hispanics, latinos, asians, and native americans alike. We all are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ to cover a mulititude of sins, and break down walls and barriers that Satan uses to cause confusion. If it were not for the christians in all colors and denominations, such as the Baptists of Dr. King, and Alveda King, fighting on the forefront of the Prolife movement. etc.
gerty335 5 months ago
@gerty335 Christianity is FALSE. There is nothing true about it. I know ALL about it, and I see nothing in it except people who, like you, are judgmental and basically evil inside. Homophobia was caused by religion, and without religion there would be no judgment of gay people. It's WRONG, and I have made it my life 'mission" to help out the gay rights movement. I believe Dr. King would have, too. Coretta Scott King was VERY outspoken in favor of gay rights and gay marriage, as you know.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 Coretta said that Martin WOULD have supported gay marriage, because he had an assistant that was a gay man, and he had no problem with it, even though this was kept secret from the black ministers in the community. I think Dr. King was very ahead of his time in this regard. There's still too much religiously based bigotry towards gays in the black community, and I will fight for their rights till my death, because it's the right thing to do. I believe so strongly about this.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 No thats a bold face lie on your part. Dr Martin L. King Jr was a man of God first and foremost. He was a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, a devoted father, and a extremely disciplined minister of the Gospel. He never condoned perversion of any kind, and if he had still been alive when Jesse Jackson was whoring around with flouseys, he would have chastised him severely. DONT EVER sully dr King;s name with your warped lifestyle choices. You embarrass your parents.
gerty335 5 months ago
@gerty335 Coretta Scott King said:
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 "Gay and lesbian people have families, and their families should have legal protection, whether by marriage or civil union. A constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriages is a form of gay bashing, and it would do nothing at all to protect traditional marriages."

@TaneishaRed1990 well done! You made a fool out of that Gerty335 person. Your arguments are rock solid and impossible to disagree with. I admire what you did here. Thanks for the inspiration.
lisztnut 5 months ago
@gerty335 but, I am very pleased by your desperation here. You act just like the KKK did when they were losing ground against black civil rights. You see the handwriting on the wall, because you know your grandchildren have no problem with homosexuals or homosexuality. It pleases me to know end to know that creeps like you will soon be in their grave and gay people will be out and proud and waving their flags. I'll be waving them with them.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 She also fought off bigots who would co-opt MLK's message and try to make it their own. In 2002, anti-gay advocates sought to repeal Miami-Dade County’s equal rights law by sending out fliers saying that King would be outraged at its gay-inclusive nature. Coretta responded through a statement put out by saying, "I appeal to everybody who believes in Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream to make room at the table of brother and sisterhood for lesbians and gay people.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 Coretta Scott King, MLK's widow said Dr. Martin Luther King supported gay rights and would have supported gay marriage according to her.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 in my life experience I can easily say that Christianity equals hate.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 ouch, it looks like TaneishaRed1990 read you the riot act and made mincemeat of your arguments here. Good for her! I support everything she said. She was far more eloquent than I could be on this issue, so I'll let you contemplate what she said.
lisztnut 5 months ago
@gerty335 I think Christianity is as capable of evil as is Islam. To my mind Prop 8 in California was the perfect example. It would not have passed without the millions of Mormon and Catholic dollars to spend on anti-gay ads that were mean spirited, and also LIES, nothing but LIES. They actually claimed that gays want to "teach" marriage in schools! LOL I wish I were kidding. Now, tell me WHY would gay people want kids to learn about marriage in school? That's stupid.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Your sadly a warped frustrated little man. I have to ask you, do you wear pumps, or heavy solid black mens work shoes? I'd guess the mens work shoes.
I hope you dont put your picture up here and use your real name, it would probably devistate your parents, and send them to a early grave.
Does your mother and father greave over you, and spend endless nights prayer for you? Did you ever stop to think about that?
gerty335 5 months ago
@gerty335 my parents are extremely proud of me, as they should be! And, no, the frustrated person here is YOU, because you can see the 1950s disappearing before your eyes. Gay people are no longer invisible! You are LOSING this fight, and you know it, and nothing makes me smile more. Have a great day!
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 gay people are now trying to get gay history taught in school, and I think that's a good thing. It is similar to black history. Gay kids grow up not knowing that many of the greatest human beings in the history of our planet were gay men and women. It's tragic. That's why it's so very important. But, gay marriage in schools? LOL! Too funny. Like, who cares? Why would they want that taught to kids? It makes no sense.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 I didn't write this, but I cut and pasted it from someone else. I find it excellent: The "problem" is the same as it was 50 years ago when "Christian" bigots were desperate to keep blacks "in their place". Even the Republican darling Ronald Reagan declared as late as 1964 that he supported white land lords' rights to discriminate against negros who wanted to rent or buy housing. What politician would dare make such a declaration TODAY?
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 "Gay and lesbian people have families, and their families should have legal protection, whether by marriage or civil union. A constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriages is a form of gay bashing, and it would do nothing at all to protect traditional marriages." left off: those words were spoken by Coretta Scott King
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 The widow of Martin Luther King Jr. called gay marriage a civil rights issue, denouncing a proposed constitutional amendment that would ban it.
Constitutional amendments should be used to expand freedom, not restrict it, Coretta Scott King said.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Another lie from the left benders gay agenda. The homosexual agenda is to twist distort, and confuse the youth of the world. There are many different perversions, but we will tolerate dragging Godly people like DR Martin L King, and his family into the perverse lifestyle of homosexuality. You've been exposed now as a lier, so you might want to run off. I caught you a several differnet lies now. You might want to seek help with your identity crisis, multiple personalities.
gerty335 5 months ago
@gerty335 Coretta Scott King is hardly a pervert. She was an ardent supporter of gay rights and gay marriage, and she called constitutional amendments to ban gay marriage nothing more than gay bashing. She called it like it is. She also said that the constitution shouldn't be used to limit rights but to expand rights.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 you need help with your bigotry, before you take one of those guns that you no doubt have stored in your closet and shoot up a gay bar. You have serious mental issues surrounding homosexuality, and if you don't get it checked out, you WILL explode. I'm a heterosexual woman and I support gay rights. Gay people don't intimidate me as they do you. You have serious issues of paranoia, grandpa (ma). I still don't even know if you are male or female.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 maybe you're the confused one, since your profile has two names on it! LOL!
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 are you Bert or Gerty or BOTH?
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 “Like Martin, I don’t believe you can stand for freedom for one group of people and deny it to others", she would tell black civil rights leaders angered by gays and lesbians comparing their struggle to their own. She would quote her husband and say, “I have worked too long and hard against segregated public accommodations to end up segregating my moral concern. Justice is indivisible."
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 I'm saddened to think that you might be married and have NO idea why you got married in the first place. Did you honestly think that the only purpose for you to marry was to have kids? REALLY? That's just sad to me. Does your husband/wife know? I can't tell if you are male or female. Which is it?
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Im astonished that you could be saddened by anything. I was quickly coming to the conclusion that you were Secular Humanist, liberal, lesbian perhaps, and have a secret turn-on for the deviant sexual taboos. I am a quick study of people, and I think that I have pinged your bell pretty well. If you were a man in gender issues, I would be shocked. I'll bet if I said you have come from a broken home, raised by one parent alone, middle class, public school, no college.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 nope, I'm not a lesbian. Think again. I'm an open minded HETEROSEXUAL woman, and I have a brain that isn't closed like your brain clearly is. I still have no idea if you are even male or female, because you haven't told me anything about yourself, except that you are a religious bigot and probably a Republicunt.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago

TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Well I am surprised. Guess I didnt peg much at all. I would be interested to know the denomination, but its not that important. Unfortunately I'm afraid one day your wish might come true, to prosecute parents for teaching God, or the Bible and creation etc. With the liberal Stasi government of this Popularist media culture we live in, in conjunction with extremely socialist politicians here in the USA, they just might try and do that very thing.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 actually, you might like to know that preaching against homosexuality from the pulpit is a crime in Sweden. But, I think I told you that already. I firmly agree with that. It is no different from when ministers used the gospel to fight against the rights of blacks.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago
@gerty335 I wish Obama were more socialist, because that's my political leaning. But, he's far too conservative for me. I want the country to have nationalized health care, for one thing, just like the rest of the civilized world. Canada has it, and nobody considers them a communist country. If Brazil can insure all their countrymen, then for damn sure we can.
TaneishaRed1990 5 months ago

MsPamAnn 8 months ago
@MsPamAnn actually no that makes him a pedophile, and he can be heterosexual, since pedophiles go after children they have the easiest access to, regardless of gender
mermaidsareppl222 6 months ago
@mermaidsareppl222
When a "man" rapes a boy he is a homosexual and a pedophile.
When a man rapes a underaged girl he is a pedophile. He may not like boys.
It appears that when homosexuals post messages they seem to be confused.

@gerty335 suggests, "use force to stop the deviant."
Why ask people to beat you up? Do you have a masochistic side?
GodCreatesGays2 10 months ago
@gerty335 this is stupid. First off, gay people trust what science says, and that is that one cannot choose nor change their innate sexual orientation. Therefore, the notion that gay people will "recruit" people to be gay is stupidity. If recruitment worked, we'd all be straight, because there isn't a gay person on the planet that wasn't raised in a 100 percent heterosexual environment. We have heterosexuality thrust down our throats from birth till death 24/7. It's a straight parade daily!
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 and, I'm saying that as a heterosexual woman, mind you. Have you ever noticed that there is never a positive example of a gay couple in ANY TV commercials? Why is that? It's because heterosexuals rule the planet, and they control what's in the media. Until recently, gay people were invisible. It's time for this to stop. I think kids should learn about gay history and the important contributions of the great gay people in history (Michaelangelo, Socrates, Leonardo, Tchaikovsky, etc).
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Well I think that the modern media has bent over backwards to accomedate the Homosexual gay crowd. Bill/Hiilary Clinton did, Barack Obama has as well. All of TV cable, has constantly had gay straight, taken, Eye for queer eye TV programs. Its constantly being promoted, NY, Iowa, and other states are approving Gay marriage unions. Its not a good thing, but it is creeping into every avenue of life. I dont think God intended it for anyone, not even extremes.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 since when is "accommodating" homosexuals a bad thing? You sound like the ignorant racist KKK people who didn't want anything positive to be shown about us black people on TV in the 1950s. Shame on you, bigot. Gay people deserve every bit as much equality and recognition in society as black people or heterosexual, or any group. Are you seriously unaware of the great contributions of gays to society?
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 and, if "god" didn't intend there to be homosexuals, why have 7000 species of animals been shown to mate with same sex partners for LIFE? Obviously homosexuality is part of a nature, and part of "god's" plan. Anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly ignorant. Gay people are born every day, and there's nothing you can do to stop this. It sounds to me like your an intolerant and bigoted person who is living in the 1950s. You need to get to know a gay person.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 and, in case you didn't know it, gay people were invisible before the 1960s. It doesn't mean they weren't in society, it merely means they had to "hide" who they were because of ignorant people such as yourself. I feel sorry for YOU that you cannot come to a place where you can accept gay people for who they are. My heart is warmed by the fact that more and more religious groups are performing and condoning gay marriage. Only a matter of time before ALL of them will do the same.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 do you know that women were once treated as gay people are today? Women couldn't vote, women in Saudi Arabia can't drive, women were considered "property" and second class citizens in many cultures. Fortunately, times have changed and people realized this was wrong. The same is happening for gay people today, and it is long overdue. Gay people have always been here, and always will be here. It's time for society to accept and embrace them.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 your problem is you are too ignorant because of your narrow religious beliefs, or you live in an area of the country where you've had no contact with gay people. I GUARANTEE you that you have a gay member of your extended family somewhere. Do you remember any aunts and uncles who remained unmarried, for example? EVERY family has gay members, it's a given. And, for you to reject your OWN family is disgraceful and disgusting. What does that say about you as a human being?
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 as a New Yorker, I'm extremely proud that my state legislature opted to treat gays and lesbians as EQUAL to straights in society. It's about time. Gay people contribute great things to our state. They are superior parents, as well. They deserve the same protection from the government YOU take for granted. But, you never think about anyone but yourself, right?
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 Everyone has thier harvey milk opionions, but thats not true, everyone in the media throughout hollywood have been bending over backwards every since the 80's to accomedate the homosexual agenda. Legislation has been passed in several states for same sex unions , and there will be alot of headaches in the future, with health care, and divorce, and child custody problems as well. What people chose to do in thier privacy is thier own, but it should not be forced on the rest
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 well, all the ignorant things you said about gay people can be said about YOU as a straight person. Yes, gay people are deserving of the same damn rights you take for granted. This includes health benefits for being married, divorce, child custody, etc. the whole nine yards. And, you seriously didn't know that eight states have already passed gay MARRIAGE (not civil unions) into law? It's about time they are treated EQUALLY under the law. Please get out of the 1950s.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 and, why shouldn't school kids learn about the accomplishments and contributions of gay people to society. People like you once opposed the teaching of black issues in schools, it was wrong then and it's wrong now when you oppose gay history in schools. Yes, Hollywood SHOULD bend over backwards and right the wrong that has been historically done to gay people, absolutely. Why should gay people be invisible as if it were 1950 again?
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 did you seriously not know that the greatest artists, musicians, scientists, politicians and philosophers were all gay men? Really? If so, then this is exactly why it MUST be taught in schools. Gay kids are being bullied and beaten up daily in school, and that's because kids hear their ignorant religious parents saying bad things about gay people. I hate to say it, but I blame Christianity for the abuse of gays in society. It's a fact.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 No No, thats not true at all. Sometimes gifted people do feel out of step and odd, so they get into some sort of temptation of homosexuality, like in the extremes of prison, military experiences, or college days. Everyone gets to make choices in this life including Harvey Milk. Everyone can live as they choose, and decide to be straight or gay. Its a choice, a lifestyle choice plan and simple. Each person must decide for themselves how they will live each day.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 you are quite simply HOPELESS. Homosexuality isn't an "urge" it's a part of someone's identity as is being black, or female or Asian. Nobody chooses what gender they're attracted to, and science proves this. I bet you also didn't know that science has already proven that environment or parenting plays NO role in the formation of sexual orientation. It's pure biology, and we have proof now. This was proven decades ago.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 yes, I agree that everyone can choose their sexual BEHAVIOR, this has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Why is your mind so small and closed that you can't accept that you are wrong? The Catholic church even acknowledges that people ARE BORN GAY. Why can't you?
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 “Psychologists used to believe homosexuality was caused by nurture —
namely overbearing mothers and distant fathers — but that theory has been
disproved. Today, scientists are looking at genes, environment, brain structure
and hormones. There is one area of consensus: that homosexuality
involves more than just sexual behavior; it’s physiological.”
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 I don't mean to disrespect you, but you have shown that you aren't very educated. I would like to educate you, and that's the reason I come onto youtube in the first place. I would like you to google this article (if you don't know how to google, then ask your grandchild how to do it): Is It a Choice? The Science of Sexual Orientation, libertyforums You will be amazed by what you read. There have been thousands of studies on this issue, and the result: PEOPLE ARE BORN GAY!
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 quote from a researcher on sexual orientation: As the research continues, we are finding that a variety of biological factors,
both genetic and hormonal, correlate with same-sex orientation. It seems to be a
trait arrived at through a number of different sets of circumstances in the body and
brain. We are gradually discovering what those circumstances are, and marveling
at their complexity.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 incidentally, for everything we've said here about homosexual orientation the same is true of heterosexual orientation. In other words, science doesn't yet know that causes heterosexuality anymore than they know what causes people to be born homosexual. However, the consensus is that neither orientation is chosen, and that there ARE biological components which influence one's innate orientation. Therefore, it is NOT a choice.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 if you said that you agree with the Catholic church that being gay is not a choice, but "acting" on your innate orientation through homosexual behavior IS a choice, I would respect you more. However, that's not what you seem to be saying here.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@TaneishaRed1990 I would have to disagree with anyone that supposes that one can be born gay. Gay is a discisional response in life, just as any other pursuit. A person must make choices everyday, and lifestyle choices are no different.
gerty335 6 months ago
@gerty335 I don't care is you disagree, you happen to be WRONG, and science proves that people are born gay, just as we are born male or Caucasian. And, what does "lifestyle" have to do with any of this? Is it a "lifestyle choice" to be female? Of course not. Grow up, you're being really ignorant now.
TaneishaRed1990 6 months ago
@gerty335 The Royal College of Psychiatrists states:
" Despite almost a century of psychoanalytic and psychological speculation, there is no substantive evidence to support the suggestion that the nature of parenting or early childhood experiences play any role in the formation of a person's sexual orientation. Sexual orientation is biological in nature, determined by a complex interplay of genetic factors and the early uterine environment. It is therefore not a choice."
