  • @Suryabir : No, it gives a different flavor.

  • hi i would like to know can we do this dish without paprika, would it be possible pls let me know

  • @MrAnto2386 : Paprika is there for the color. You can skip it altogether.

  • It looks yummy! =D

A question: can I do this recipe with a boned chicken cut in small pieces? Or this recipe works only with bigger pieces?

    Ty for sharing! =D

  • @Ariadnecellist : Yes, you can. Traditionally, it is made with boneless but it can be made with bones as well. If you are cutting the chicken pieces small, it will cook faster but the taste will be good either way :)

I have allergies to fried foods.

would cornstarch work to get the sauce to stick to the meat?

  • You can add Onions at the beginning, the flavor would be different but still taste good.

    :)

  • Hey...Thanks for the awesome recipe..hwever i would like to knw whether the crushed tomatoes are the canned version or did u make fresh puree at home?

  • We pureed fresh tomatoes at home.

  • Simple ,elegant and delocious.Thank you girls.

  • Your recipes are wonderful but could you use better microphones, so we can hear your instructions clearly. I believe you are Gujerati ladies, so Khem Cho?

  • Saru che! We are working on the microphones issue, thanks for your feedback!

  • Does this work for lamb too?

  • It works excellent with lamb! You may have to marinate a little more (overnight) and cook a little more.

    Enjoy!

  • Looks delicious, thank you ladies you have great recipes. You have 5*****.

  • mmh looks very good!!!

  • can we replace the chicken with panner ?

  • Yes, Paneer is a great substitute for vegetarian. We suggest you go easy on the vinegar or just eliminate it altogether for the Paneer. It may end up being too tangy.

    Hope that helps!

  • Hmm Vinegar in chicken? I'm curious, what is the role of Vinegar in the marination?

  • Vinegar makes food tangy. Kind of like how lemon/lime can be used for a similar purpose.

  • its an acid, it breaks the protein down; that makes the meat tender and allows it to absorb more of the marinade's flavor.

  • That is correct, Vinegar is a tenderizer. Helps absorb the marination and that is what makes the chicken so tender!

  • looks delicious. i thought pasanda were usually made with cutlets?

  • Yes, Pasanda is also made with cutlets, that is another variation.

  • looks very good :)

  • looks good especially with rice yum:)

  • looks wayyyy to dry loll

  • It is not supposed to be a 'curried' or gravy dish. But feel free to add in extra water (more than what we added) and you have yourself a gravy! Enjoy!

  • That looks quite easy for such an ridiculously amazing result :O

It looks SO tasty! Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna try to find the ingredients that I've never had before (fried onions, garam masala).

  • Thanks muchly ;->
