@djxquizet I know you can buy official shoes from LMFAO's clothing brand. As this was for a Halloween costume I made them by finding the cheapest loafers I could and drawing on them with a black marker. There's a good closeup of them in the video for Sexy and I Know it.
Hey guys check out my channel, I have a video on how to make the PARTY ROCK SHOES seen in this video, or you could just search how to make your own party rock shoes in the bar up there ^^^. Either way check it out its cool and simple. Thanks (:
@LMFAO5691 heh... actually, I did a lot of programming work to the lights and it is WAY better than the version seen above. I added some new patterns as well as rewriting some of the existing ones. The result is a lot quicker/smoother and just more entertaining to watch with faster transitions. As far as construction goes I built the box based on dimension assumptions made from watching the Party Rock video. There is a bicycle helmet inside to allow complete head movement.
@victortito1234 You can buy official shoes and necklace from the band I believe. Since this was a Halloween costume I made mine. I drew the heart in Photoshop and printed it on card stock. After gluing it to cardboard I cut out both layers by hand (took WAY too long) and covered it with clear contact paper. The chain was extra from a lighting fixture I had hanging around. The shoes are the cheapest white loafers I could by. I drew the text on with a black marker while waiting for the gold to dry
very cool, I'm building one of these with my son, but we dont know what to do for the lights. Can you give us details on what and where to buy the lights? Thanks so much for posting.
@kimonosandkilts The lights were all from scratch. I bought an Arduino starter kit (easy to find online) which included the Arduino unit, prototyping breadboard, and a variety of components with directions to get you started. With that I figured out the circuit how to program it. I have a programming background so it wasn't too bad once I saw how everything works. The lights are mounted through cardboard and encased in hot glue to hold them and prevent it from shorting from excessive shuffling.
@kimonosandkilts if you want the EXACT led lights from the actual video, then just google "Rear LED bicycle tail lights" and search for the cheapest product. theyre actually 99 cent american each, i just finished mine, looks exactly like the one in the video. also look up IRsuperman's tutorial, his is really good.
