Thank you Southwest Airlines for flying to Lubbock. Thank you Herb Kelleher for having Southwest Airlines serve Lubbock. A most wonderful airline allows you to enter and/or exit Lubbock without that enormously long, boring drive from/to Dallas, or El Paso, or Houston, or Austin.
El Paso and Houston do not have service to Lubbock on Southwest. Both cities use to have service, but that discontinued. Now, it is only to Albuquerque, Austin, Dallas, and Las Vegas on Southwest.
Ive been to Lubbock millions of times because my mom grew up there and my grandparents have been living there for over 30 years. It is only 5 hours from El Paso where i live. Lubbock is smaller and cleaner. I like Lubbock because it is clean. I like to see my grandparents and i love the airport here.
