  • Hey, love your tutorials. I'm using Audition 5.5. I'm trying to adjust the tempo of loop files from adobe loopology and I'm unable to do that. Can you help me out Mike?

  • How to change bpm of a song in multitrack cs 5.5?

  • N-I-C-E! I'm an 'On Air Personality' myself! I like your style of teaching! Atta' boy!

  • not bad......

  • ..wer did you get that beats dude?

  • your tutorials on manipulating voice overs with the "cutting power" and "pitch slide" tools were very useful, i enjoy all of your tutorials and you sound british lol the accent gets me everytime. Im having trouble figuring out where to download the crazy sound effects that youhave between your voice overs, could you help me out?

  • Cool, Is there any easier and safe way? and in this mix if there will miss the loop it wont sound so nice ?

  • there need to be another video about this step by step not when the project is finish

  • how do we know that the songs we used have the exactly same or closely same BPM??

  • i love this sound like a radio station lol cool

  • this is just amazing

i wanna see a tutorial to making megamixes

  • nice man

  • Hi this might sound silly but how do you know how many beats are in songs without sitting there listening with a stopwatch and counting the beats

love the tutorials by the way

  • what a garbage tutorial

it does not show you how to beat match at all

  • @dmsthf9 I've uploaded a video that shows you how to beatmix songs of different tempos in Audition, this video is kind of useless...

  • and if the two tracks are a different BPM????????

  • the sound on the radio in general, whether music or voice, sounds very dense and very truncated. what effects do you use if any, to get that intimate presence sounding sound?

  • how do you know how many beat per min there are in a song?

  • Hey does anyone know where to et beats?

  • Please can you explain how to beat match 2 songs with a defferant BPM Like 128 & 130

I Heard the Audition is automatic matching them but i tried and its no use :S

    Waiting ;)

  • Amazing. Where have been all this time???? Please post more

  • awsome

  • you're saving me for my audio production class.

    THANK YOU.

  • I'm surprised...I can still hear you quite well over the songs as loud as they are. I would have thought you would have to lower the levels on the songs to talk over them and come across clear.

  • That's a great point and something I didn't cover in this video. It's a good idea to lower the levels on music tracks so you can hear the voice over with more clarity. My latest tutorial is on video on volume & stereo pan. I hope it compliments this video!

  • ........didn't use the chorus bit on Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer. Payed around £55 for it about 5 years ago.

  • Yeah I suppose dance and pop music have very similar beats and bpm's in most cases. I once got a beat mix music montage from Mixing Pot (think they're The Radio Production Company now?) and I had such a diverse range of music in there! Off the top of my head it had Build me Up Butercup - Foundations, Out Of Touch - Lola's Theme, Living On A Prayer - Bon Jovi, Young Hearts Run Free - Candi Staton and I was quote impressed with it though they....................

  • How long does it actually take you on avarage to produce a beat mix montage?

  • Excellent video. I think you should produce another beat mix montage but I think myself, and others, would like to see you produce a more challenging beat mix montage because you must get orders sometimes and wonder how on earty am I going to pull that one off!

  • Thanks! It can take anywhere from half an hour to half a day or more depending on the type of tunes involved. I love beat mixing dance and pop music because the beats are easy to identify and match. Rock music, for instance, presents a bigger challenge.

  • Is there ever a time when you think "oh god, this will be a bad beat mix montage!" or, after seeing their order details, do you think "the beat mix montage will never be possible I will email the client and ask them to re-select their songs?"

  • I'll always look for a way to make any idea work. I've not had Edith Piaf vs. The Prodigy yet... but I'd love to give it a go.
