They took out the music in 2011 to make it sound more scary. :L

I wait in line every year for it. The only part I don't like is the end when that skeleton in the bus honks at you. It really hurts your ears.

The first time I rode this, I was about 4 and I thought it was SO fast and fun! I rode it every year except for last summer, because it has like, a 1 1/2 hour wait for a 1 minute ride!

Lol this is a fun ride i shat brix at horn when i first went on it XD i live in ohio close to pennsylvania only like 40 min drive worth the drive lots of fun rides im going here again on wednesday new ride also its called mega vortex i suggest you guys go and check it out.

That was really hard to see, but some of it came out great! This ride is so classic. haha. I love it. Everytime we go to Waldameer, I take people on a 'tour' of the Wacky Shak. I act like I am a realitor trying to sell the house to them. lol It's fun :D

All those rides you mentioned including this one were built by Bill Tracy from Cape May County, NJ. He was a dark ride builder, his company was Amusement Display Associates. It was changed to Fantasies and Dreams following his passing in the early 1970's, headed by Jim Melonic, and finally closed in 1979 ending years of dark ride production. Pretzel of Bridgeton, NJ also closed in 1979, and the owner William Cassidy just passed away this year. NJ had the best dark ride builders and haunts.

I used to ride this all the time with my eyes closed. My friends wanted to go in it but I'd get scared (come on now, I was about 3 yrs old the first time I went- it scarred me for life :P). I'd have be careful though, because there's that part where you come outside for a few seconds and I didn't want people to see me with my eyes closed. Lol. That loud ass horn at the end didn't help much either...

Anyway, it was a really good ride. It just scared the crap outta me.

I thought this ride was kinda lame. Yeah its a "classic" dark ride but that doesn't mean it it exciting or even remotely scary. I'd ride it again if there was no wait. RFII rules!

Garfields Nightmare is 20x better than this!

this is the stupidest ride in the whole park, basically every think inside is on pirates cove and Kennywood puts their heart into there there dark rides, Waldameers are just "Plop! theres a dark ride!"

Then why did Kennywood get rid of Old Mill and Gold Rusher? They just "plopped" garfields nightmare in the Old Mill's spot, which btw was a complete and total waste of my time.
