yeah, he's a great player both as a soloist and accompanist. Where's you hear him? Somewhere in LA? Or online? Or did you get a look at the Zappa Plays Zappa dvd? I haven't seen that yet.

@youngprofessor Yes, I was able to meet him and attend a class with him in June 2010. Very cool person. Plays ridiculously great and his chordal things are just as cool as his powerful solos.

I know, groovin is all part of it and very important,, but I never knew what style player and what a really good soloist he was until a few days ago.
