  • This event was hosted by the Glen Region SCCA in Central NY. We didn't have an event this year, but plan on on for next year. We host a couple of Rallycross events each year and they are designed to run in a confined area of grass, dirt, or gravel. There's nothing that says we can't hold an event in the snow, but it's hard to get volunteers for a cold event! That being said, the NY Ice Racers do hold an event at Black Rock every year in the snow! However, they do wheel to wheel racing.

  • do they do this every year? why not in the winter time with acutal snow?

  • Great form of motorsport. Too bad there's not really a pro tour for this. Only problem with more traditional rallies is that it's not all in a confined area like a RX is.

  • @zvan24 Well, not all traditional rallyes are in snow. Some are pretty muddy like this. I think this one is put on by an SCCA region in central NY somewhere. Not sure if this is their only faciliuty. I am in San Diego.

  • Sad that my car only has a still shot towards the end of the video... i was the prettiest one out there! LOL!

  • it's the yellow Mazda @ 3:00

  • the subarus are good... blackrock sucks

  • I had to reply... the folks that run the show at Blackrock were incredible! They went WAY out of their way to make everything more than perfect for our event!!! I don't know why you felt you had to comment on BR, but my experience was stellar!!

  • Sweet! Go CQ! Show them how it's done, Coupe Quattro style!

  • Go Subarus! : )
