  • It's funny how bad and empty sounds this gun on video. Live its bass strikes you nicely in the chest!

  • IT LOOKS LIKE THE DEVIL DOG IS A LITTLE SCARED OF HIS OWN GUN

  • what kind of shity talking guns was that. way to go on some pussy bursts too. i would not be proud of this video.

  • Ma Deuce

  • OMG THY ARE USING PUPPYS FOR TARGETS.RIGHT WING FOX WATCHING PUPPY KILLERS.WHEN WILL YOU STOP MURDERING THE INNOCENT.WHAT DID THE PUPPYS DO TO YOU? THEIR CUDDLY, THEIR CUTE. WTF? STOP IT AND YOU HELL 2 GO PALIN.

  • welcome to the biggest mofia in the world THE US army lol having fun protecting those heroine fields so the CIA takes it and sells it on our streets

  • @ieatdeadbabies101 lol dumbass..a heroine feild? its called a poppy plant.and those are USMC ..learn some facts before you talk your shit.

  • @ieatdeadbabies101 god bless retards, you guys make me feel smarter just by hearing how stupid you are :)

  • Marines: killin dem browns for the new world order! Semper fi, bro.

  • i wanna try that

  • Keep gettin' the some with the M2 browning machine gun! Semper Fi.

    Marines = bad#%& weapons.

Army = mainly too much modified advanced weaponry.

But anyway we're all under the same flag kicking #%& on the battlefield wherever it's at. Carry on. *Salute*

  • why do i feel like we'll be using this gun for another hundred years.

  • Ooh-rah! Ah the Ma deuce, putting the fear of G-d into America's enemies since the first Jap's head exploded in WWII

  • May the 50 cal gods shine upon you

  • m2 .50 caliber. making red jelly out of the enemy since your grand pappy was in diapers.

  • to think we were using this in WWII..on Mustangs, Infantry, and more! A reliable weapon sure, and the .30 version is good too..nice puttin these htings on top of Humvees..reminds me of Black Hawk Down..they did a good job of these!

  • Devildog, you need longer burst- 5 rds is "ok" but 7-9 is better...

  • Go cyclic! GO CYCLIC!!!

  • why do we have to pull the charging handle twice in the browning m2? instead of the normal 1 time on any other normal gun?

  • Since the M2 does not use a push-trough belt, the rounds have to be withdrawn before chambering. On the first pull, the bolt grasps the cartridge as it goes forward. On the second pull, the cartridge is withdrawn from the belt and finally chambered.

  • You can only have to charge it once, that is if you put the first round on to the right of the feed pawl. That will automatically put you in condition 2, or half cock.

  • Marine style? the guy gunning isnt doing the right bursts. Much be new :| Unless their SOP is alot different than in the army. Anyways this looks like Hawaii...is this the military installation there? Schofield Barracks ftw.

  • i always cream my pants when i shot that weapon

  • Cry Havoc And Let Slip The Dogs Of War!!

    2/7 Marine Weapons Company haha

Nice little saying and all but im shooting for Force Recon.

  • Shakespear, gotta be the greatest badge on any coy ever though :D

  • I signed up for the marines and wanted to be 0311 machien gunner. Do you need any specific requirements other than a GT score of 80 and compete the machine gunner course at school of infantry? do you need a driver lisence? My recruiter told me to give him three jobs i wanted, so can i request this as one or do i pick infantry and just hope to get this job?

  • You do not need a driver's license. You can request three, but the needs of the Marine Corps will outweigh your dream list. This being said, I got the MOS I requested, and I got the station I requested...and it's been relatively smooth sailing ever since. Good luck to you!

  • Thanks. I requested Infanty, going to boot camp august 18 and I cant wait dude. My recruiter told me infantry was full but the Gunny could get me a spot and he said once your done with school of infantry you can choose whatever infantry job u want if ur qualified and i will choose machine gunner. Hope everything goes ok

  • Be careful...Recruiters exist to sell the Marine Corps, not to give opportunities. The odds are that if you go infantry, you'll be assigned the base infantry MOS 0311. Once you arrive at SOI, there's no more guarantee, as your MOS will reflect based on - again - the needs of the Marine Corps. "Qualified" means you meet the basic requirements of an infantry Marine, so don't be surprised if you don't get exactly what you want. Carry on.

  • @utahraptor2

"don't be surprised if you don't get exactly what you want"

sums up the ADF recruiting structure in australia pretty well...

  • @TripleNipple3 look man there is no 0311 machingunner , the actual gunner MOS is 0331.

  • @TripleNipple3 0311 is rifleman, i believe 0331 is machine gunner and no just 80 gt but you dont really get to choose. make sure you get your infrantry job first. i think you pick top 2 or 3 and hopefully you will get it.

  • do those weapon mounts have some sort of damping system built in or what? seems like those weapons would rattle to pieces with all the violent vibrations if they were mounted directly on to the frame.

  • Nope, no damping. What they do have is their weight...the M2 isn't fun to carry by any stretch of the imagination.

  • I know the XM 218 which is the Air version of the M2 Weighs in at about 65lbs...

  • They do have some damping. It`s a Norwegian type and it`s calld softmounte. It`s taking off over 50% vibrations.

  • @EthnoMoods

There is a shock buffer in the rear, between the spade-grips. It has 22-24 recoil absorbing disks that help prevent damage to the weapon.

  • Thank you for your service! I wish I could get ahold of a Ma duece for an afternoon. Sure would be fun.

  • i am bahamian and i can never diss america because my country depends very heavily on american tourism to drive our economy. it was america who came to our rescue when cuba bombed our defense force ship FLAMINGO. it was the US cost guard who came to our rescue when those two mail boats collided, killing four. i just wanna say semper fi.

  • Thank you for your support!

  • by the way, one of the first marine landings was at fort montague (sic), which is located in the capital of the bahamas.

i can't remember what year though AAGH. :(

  • its great to see somebody from another country that we have provided aid for that actually appreciates it! =)

  • 1776- new providence, bahamas

  • 'Nice DEUCE' .... ^_^ ....

  • Utahraptor2 Great video...I am working towards getting into West Point. Just one question? Why is the video sped up? the dudes on top of the HUMVEE move pretty fast, and the sound lags behind the firing. its like someone sped the video up, but not the sound.

  • It's not sped up; as well as myself, there were three other HMMWV turrets with M2s mounted, firing at the same time. As for the sound lag, that's because Youtube doesn't handle conversion of Quicktime movie files very well. Good luck in your pursuit of West Point!

  • Thank you. I must of sucked to be on one of those in Mogadishu becasue they were identical to the one you were firing...no gun shield and no armor

  • the sound of a 50 cal gives me a boner

  • Actually, the venerable MA DEUCE was adopted by the US military in 1921, this weapon has been in service longer than any other. GOD BLESS you Marines----SEMPER FI!

  • You know, they been using this exact same heavy machine gun since World War II. Its you'd think that 60 years worth of weapon innovations would have rendered this ineffective. I guess back then it was just ahead of its time or something. In WWII, it was classified as an anti-tank weapon.

  • Wow nice video, mate. thanks for sharing it with us. I would have loved to serve proudly, but because of my disability it never will be. So just know my heart and prayers go out with you guys. :)

  • Utahrapter, don't listen to these idiots. They are just souless morons with nothing better to do than to put you down. All of the US Marines are heroes and anybody who says otherwise is an Anti-American retard.

The recoil looked pretty shaky. Then again, its probably worth it since it can easily penetrate walls that and could probably blow someone's head clean off.

  • I appreciate the support, man. I'm not too terribly worried about a couple of dolts on the Internet.

The recoil was bad, but the brace on the turret helps alot. Not bad for killing enemy vehicles ;-)

  • utahraptor your a brave marine! im going to be a marine in 3 years after college

  • yah...I'm sure you drive a hummer, eat lots of beef, get your haircut at "sportclips" and feel good watching football.

    eat a fucking dick scum

  • Wow, that wasn't a generalization. I'd advise you educate yourself before you run your mouth, and watch that obsession you seem to have with the concept of putting dicks in mouths.

  • utahraptor.... suck a dick

  • I'm four times the man you want to be.

  • It goes from a fun day out on the guns to some paranoid blabber of killing innocent women and children; if you only knew the penalties and ruin which come with unnecessary damage and disobedience to the Rules of Engagement; all you have to do is pick up a Stars and Stripes newspaper to hear the latest story of some unfortunate grunt facing Court Martial for a rash decision in the heat of battle. Stop filling this post forum with bullshit; you're only embarassing yourself.

  • BMG .50 still kickin' butt.

  • I'm just sick of seeing a bunch of Blackwater scum murder people for fun.

I'm sick of seeing REAL soldiers get killed so George Bush and his friend Bin Laden can get rich.

Hell they can't even give the troops proper fucking body armor....and all these morons with Yellow support the troop ribbons don't give a rats ass, otherwise they'd be pissed off like me. Fuck Blackwater

  • I respect your opinion. What's your take on contractors?

  • I think They are going to use forign blackwater troops to come and take our guns here in the US. I'm only 26 yrs old, but I have a gut feeling we are about to see martial law. I hope most of our troops uphold the oath of protecting the US from enemies foreign and DOMESTIC.

But hell yah...that 50 cal is the SHIT. I wish I could afford a barrett. My 50cal is a muzzle loaderl... LOL

  • You're an idiot.

  • yah it takes a real MAN to blow up innocent people form a quater mile away.

This isn't a war, its a racial slaughter. I feel so sorry for you brainwashed fucks.

  • Brainwashed? Isn't that a bit of projection on your part?

  • does "getting the job done" mean killing the whole fucking continent?

    Just curious...

  • What's that supposed to mean?

  • what IS that supposed to mean? Other than the fact that the whole continent indeed needs killin'.

  • pft, lol no, read my reply to that dumbass, he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. 50 cals are for far off kills, or penetrating through obstacles that are hiding the baddies. so what would u want if u were him? a 7.62 gun? fuck that.

  • what are you dumb? those are used on vehicles, to stop other vehicles, plus the ammo is very stable and can be fired a long way. the previous world record for a sniper kill was with this gun in vietnam, till the 50cal sniper rifle came along and got it in afghanistan

  • Oh just buy a BB Gun machine gun..Or Paint ball is fun too. Big deal..Bap bap bap..good bye

Buy a 12 gage..Go shoot clay pigeons. Thats pretty fun

  • hell ya i have 2 of those babies

a stoeger conder dbl barrel O/U

and a Franchi SAS which they dont import anymore with pistol grip

  • tight, wish i could do that, and im 12 years old

  • ask your father to buy you an AR15. You will have even more fun with one of those

  • did u serve in iraq? war's intense man,

  • no, i haven't, hopefully our troops will be home within the year

  • dont see it happening. I'm in the service and don't think we should come back without finishing the job. We're just not being allowed to fight the way we should. but thank you for your support. We join to serve, we serve to fight, we fight to protect. we can't do that by going home. It was our choice to volunteer. We just need more support from the home front because the media is exploiting us and everything bad that happens

  • Thanks for all your service CobraVegeta. It doest got unappreciated. I dont know how you guys go through everything. My buddies in the Marines PLC programmer and its his second summer. He told me the other day he had to hike 30 miles with all his combat gear on, and then run 9 miles after. Thats insaine. Anyone that is willing to do that kind of stuff has my respect.

  • hell ya, I'd love to do that but being in the AF and working shitty hours made me a bit of a big guy, lmao

but not without some muscle under the padding.

Oh and thank you. With this countries honor and justice in our hands, it's a pleasure to serve.

  • lol no biggie, I loved guns since i was 4. started my own collection now. Get a job kid and save that money, tell ur dad to buy u a little target rifle like a 22

it'll help you with accuracy and then u can move up to bigger and better things. heck maybe one day you can actually shoot this gun if you join the military.

  • pretty sweet!
