Michael Jackson is not the originator of anything. @TheBladeozan As I mention below about the styles...it take more than just being able to do certain moves better than other people. Michael had a few moves that he took to extremes because of how often he practiced those SAME MOVES! almost any clips of Michael, you know what to expect, he's perdictable. Choreographed. He memorizes his dances and rehearse over and over and over. Real dancers feel the music and can freestyle and make moves up on the spot and get developed in each style of dance.

Salah is better. Frantick is better at animating. Umin. Phillip Cheebe. Poppin John. Who are these robots. Madd Chadd. can all do things that michael can and can't.

All pay homage to Michael but it takes more than being able to do specific moves. trying dancing just WAVE STYLE FOR HOURS w/o being repetitive! trying ticking for a 1/2 hr with out being repetitive. Michael didn't master each style he master MOVES of specific styles and memorized his dances. Let see michael freestyle and make shit up on the spot!

Backslide = 1 move in the whole style of gliding. Moon walk (spinning move)= 1 move with the style of gliding This animation walk = 1 Move within the style of animation... My point is that these moves can be built on or the specific styles can be mastered and developed more. Michael did not develop each specific style. Look at his waving. He always waves into the same arm EVERYTIME. and he can't do full body waves.

Don't give up. I'm not a talented dancer but I got the basics of the moonwalk in one day. All I need to do now is keep practicing so I can go as fast as him. Trust me, if I can do it, you can definitely do it. BTW, this is from the MTV 1995 Music Video Awards. I have it on DVD.
