For the lighting, I say the best chance is Nuka's death. The lighting is minimal, and all three of the other outlanders. It's also consistent throughout the scene.

@RWBn00b I agree that it's the best chance, but it isn't a direct sunlight scene, either. If you look at Simba in that scene, he's dark pinkish beige, and in the following scene where he's in direct sunlight again, he's deep gold and Kiara has default sunlit colors. So assuming sun = rising throughout that scene, take Vitani at its very end and then saturate/lighten her colors even more. If you do that with Kovu he becomes very close to his default sunlit coloring (from the "play" scene).

Nice work. but to be honest, Vitani does not look anything like how she did as a cub, you can't tell it's the same lion. With Kiara, she has the same features for cub to adult.. But I guess in the Lion King 1 adult nala didn't really resemble her cub self either.

They would've put her in, I think, but her voice actor died a year or two after they made the first one.

Personally, I think they're just too lazy to search for someone with a similar enough voice that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, but that's just me.
