I'm sorry, but the song is about emotional turmoil and the fast pace tempo helps the listener realize the frustration. Having the female vocals helps the listener realize that it's coming from two different point of views directly involved.

Plus, it's just more pleasant to my ears. I enjoy listening to the album version more.
