While a "Birth Certificate" & "Certificate of Live Birth are the same, a "Certification of Live Birth" is a different type of document. The Certification is basically a shorten version of a birth certificate.

His parents lived in Hi. when he was born. Usually that alone is good enough. He's shown his certified legal BC stating he was born in Honolulu. Hi. DOH verifies this. Hi. Gov. (Republican) verifies this. Birth announcements in papers verify this. People alive at the time remember him being born.
But it's not good enough. They want to see the long form hoping it shows he was born at home so then they can call his mother a liar and keep up the tantrums.

It has not been proven that his parents lived in Hawaii when he was born. And that is NEVER "good enough" to prove natural born citizenship. And he has NOT shown his BIRTH CERTIFICATE - he has shown a Certification of Live Birth, which is distinctly different from a Birth Cetificate.
And WHO "alive at the time" remember Obama being born? Name one, or else admit to being a liar.
We want to see the long-form because the Certification is not sufficient. It's not a "tantrum" to seek truth.

No. A Certification of live birth IS a birth certificate. It's the only certified BC Hi. offers since 2001. More and more states are going that direction. Pa. and Mo. also ONLY offer short forms... actually Pa. will give a photocopy of the original suitable for framing, but it's NOT certified, i.e. if you want a passport you can't get one with it--you'll need the certified short form.

While a "Birth Certificate" & "Certificate of Live Birth are the same, a "Certification of Live Birth" is a different type of document. The Certification is basically a shorten version of a birth certificate.

A "Certificate of Live Birth" from Hawaii would PROVE that one was born in Hawaii - it would have doctor's names and signatures, the hospital and time of birth, and much more and more detailed information than a mere "Certification of Live Birth". And a foreign-born child could receive a "Certification of Live Birth", if the child's parent or parents simply CLAIMED the child was born in Hawaii, but at home. BIG difference.

And in the above case, the birth record WOULDN'T list a doctor or hospital. And THAT'S why "birthers" request the records.

Problem with that is the filing date is 4 days after he was born. So your theory is that Ann Dunham, 18 and 9 months pregnant, took a 48 hour plane trip to Kenya to have her baby, then within 4 days was back in her home in Hi. (having transported an undocumented black newborn) and filed an affidavit stating he was born in Hi. where she actually lived.

No. He has NOT. That comes from published figures for the TOTAL he's paid his law firm, NOT the minuscule amount spent on those birther suits. All those suits were immediately dismissed. How can you even imagine he could spend that much on suits that never got past day one?
He hasn't "had to fight" any of those suits. They come in, file a motion to dismiss, it's granted, they walk out. He's spent around $500 to $1000 per suit. And there arent that many of them.
