I saw Chet in about 1970 at a Mary Travers concert at Red Rocks amphitheatre. Brewer and Shipley also played. He was the best of the three. I went out and bought his album and learned to play Electra and Lonely Woman on guitar. The tuning on Lonely Woman was unique. Beetles are coming was another favorite. At the concert he played a great song about a Hashish Ice Cream Man I believe it was.
This great talent should not be playing on stage with a bunch of silly unappreciative children.
Where are the bell bottoms, tie died t-shirts, and peace sign medallions? God I wish we could go back. Atleast then we were fighting wars with an enemy we could see.
I wish we didn't have to watch Chet lip sync to a recording done in 1972. I'd like to see/hear him do Electra live.
