A cool story....my grandmother told me that her and her sisters used to sing this on the radio, which my great-grandfather had transformed so it brodcasted a ways. I adore this song and I'm glad i can share that with my grandma. :)

@63lambretta Yes! There are at least 2 Tex Avery cartoons with it! The red riding hood cartoon is called 'Little Rural Riding Hood' and yes 'Swing Shift Cinderella' ! They are almost identical. Red Hot Riding Hood is also almost the same too but has a different song.

I wonder if they had to ask permission to base it on this?
