Have you ever used the N900? It has the best internet browser of all mobile phones! Yes android supports Adobe Flash 10.1 but N900 can handle flash 10 too with tweak flash plugin without problems. If you compare the two phones, you will see that when android loads the mobile versions of websites the N900 loads the full sites just like your pc! Maemo is an entire operating system, and offcourse you can run Android on N900 with dual boot. Can HTC load maemo or otherOS with dual boot??

well - i have seen the NOKIA 5800XM video teaser and i have seen how fast it was on videos but once i bought it! it was a lot slower then in video teasers and i don't believe now days any cellphone can be as fast as that because my dads LG secret is slow too .. update after update it become faster and faster and faster but still not enough .. at list not same speed as in video teasers .. what you think?

The moment I heard about this phone, was the last ever time I was a devoted Nokia customer. After riding high for so long, the organisationhas turned into a shambolic mess. The n97 has so far needed software updates to sort out the problems of usability and stability, Symbian struggles. I bet the symbian lot looked at the Linux Maemo lot, panicked and tried to paper over the cracks.. the n97 is total utter crap compared to this, and had I known what was coming I would have ignored it....

They're not regular linux distros though, they don't even use X server. so they're pretty different from Linux on a computer. but anyways Nokia and Google are definitely going to come out on top because these are both revolutionary interfaces

Actually your completely wrong. This is a rather regular linux distro. It's based on debian. It does infact use X11. The main difference from linux on a pc and this phone is that the phone has an ARM processor, so certain apps that would run on a PC may not have been compiled for the ARM architecture. Long story short. It's similar enough to a PC for you to be able to run a full installation of OpenOffice, and other applications on it.

It's an opinion based on my experience with the iPhone since July of 2008. :/ I've seen the latest videos of the N900 in action and for me, as someone who has owned the latest iPhones for more than the past year, it is totally unimpressive.

I didn't buy my iPhone because it has an apple on it. I didn't even like apple before I got the iPhone. The reason why I got it is because I liked how it displays text messages in a conversation, and I liked the web browsing capabilities. Now that I have it, whenever I look at other phones and think if I could use that instead of my iPhone I simply couldn't. For what I use my iPhone for, no other phone can match it without being somewhat of an inconvenience for me. and it's the fastest right now
