  • Very sweet engine....We got our new engine in July of 2009....I am from the Berkeley Springs Volunteer Fire Company.!

  • Thats good. Its a very nice looking truck!

  • That didnt dent the bumper their at the end did it?

  • No dents!

  • lmao thats a dent

  • I could make remarks about the misuse crack, but you have the right to your opinion. As far as Authority, i don't agree with. No one blew though light or cranked up the speed. This was to welcome the new piece. A tradition that has been done for years. Your lucky if this is done once a decade anymore. If you feel a 1 mile drive with lights is a misuse or a waste of taxpayers money, I would hate to hear ur thoughts the 4 Hour Parade in Ocean City Maryland.

  • Thanks for being the only one who was sensible in your response. We are all entitled to our opinions and I respect yours even if I disagree. They may not have increased speed or ran any traffic lights, but I just feel that the lights and sirens have a very specific purpose and any use beyond that is misuse. Thanks again for the respect!

  • have a quick comment since this kinda made me a bit mad, before you go saying its a waste of taxpayer money or fuel, because most volunteer fire companys pay for almost everything, i know the only thing that the township pays for where im a member at they only pay for half of our insurance, so just think before u say anything because u dont know all the facts

  • I think you need to know the facts buddy. Volunteer or not, taxpayer money is used to fund the fire department. The only difference is a fully staffed department vs. one that obviously volunteer and unpaid. Why do townships that have volunteer departments put fire levys on the ballot for voters then? Look up your facts!

  • Yeah Seriously you don't know anything about the history of the arrival of New Fire Apparatus apparently because almost every fire department I know of does this including mine and our fire department went almost 9 miles from the WV/MD line to the state road place to fuel up so stop this bull shit of making comments like these if you don't know anything.

  • I have lived in Ohio and Indiana both and never seen this done before so I guess I know a little something. I will take your word for it if they do at around you, but obviously not done everywhere. I've never even heard of it until I saw this.

  • The camper was a rental used by the group who traveled out to pick up the engine.

  • Also...whats with the Camper? I'm guessing its a command or Rehab?

  • AWESOME! Thats a sweet MAck CF!

  • lol i would be so pissed if i was sleeping when all this shit is goin down any way i hate pucs its a pain in the ass to get in and around the pump area to hook up all the hoses in shit espcially if it has a foam cell

  • is it also a tradition there to push teh rig into the bays??

  • Yes it is........

  • nice...im probably gonna regret this...but do u know how that got started?

  • What a nice looking rig..use it in the best of health

  • when ever we get a new truck we have a wetdown
