Not true, Warriors are very gear dependent, it gets harder the more you level up to take larger groups, unless you update your full gear every few levels

There is no "best" race and/or class in WoW. It is all based on preference, and how you play the game.

Orc: Arms Warrior, Shaman, Hunter

Undead: Rogue, Warlock, Fury Warrior, Priest

Troll: Priest, Mage

Blood Elf: Warlock, Paladin, Mage, Hunter

Can't speak for alliance, though.
