I really like the way you played the fast lick with the natural harmonics with your right forefinger at about 0.59. I have completely stolen the idea from you as from now, it's that good. Only joking! Great playing, well done and you have sold me on the deathbuckers.
Can you do a demo of the Deathbuckers without distortion? You said they are ideal for jazz, and I'm looking for a bridge that can do "classical acoustic clean" and have found a neck that can do "jazz acoustic clean" (dimarzio evolution neck).
First off, fantastic playing dude, you could have fooled me, if you had not put that you weren't a metal player in the description i would have never know from your playing. Second, would you recommend the Lace deathbuckers? I'm looking to replace the pickups in one of my guitars and these have caught my attention. are they good for rhythm and lead, or are they better better for one than the other? again fantastic playing!
Cool Vid. I like the stand up approach. Nice melodic themes throughout with nice touch and vibrato. You are obviously a very good guitarist and should do well in this competition. Good luck to you.
Fantastic playing. Very fun and educational to watch your approach to metal. I'm the flip side of the coin. I want to be more fusion and jazz now, but in a rock context. Great vocabulary, apb
Hi nick, I dont know if you remember me but I had a good chat with you and chris f at owens wedding, you were so kind as to lend me a jumper!!! Killer harmonics by the way!
Nick have u got tabs for this?
SanjeevGeorgeV 3 months ago
Hi Mate.
Sorry there are no tabs for this as apart from the obvious melodies near the beginning, it was all improvised.
If I ever get the time and there is enough interest I might transcribe it, but I don't have time at the moment.
Thanks for your interest. Check out my new band Zippertongue. We will have an album out in the summer and I might tab some of the solos for that.
Cheers
Nick

That's one modded up RG550! lol
I got the GR-20 pickup on one of my guitars too. It'd be nice if they made those track well enough to be useful. :P
I've been a loyal EMG active guy, but I have to say those lace pickups are very unique and toneful!
Great playing too man!
