I loved this video. I thought that using a priod piece/ historic setting was very creative. I totally understood what the video was saying even thought she married someone else. "Hey that's life"

This is quite a lovely song that speaks volume not only through its words but the video. Enslavement of blacks by whites no longer exist in the caribbean however, some of our black men remain slaves to society through menial jobs etc while others seem to be getting further in life because of their inheritance( came from the upper class) or the thinking that lighter makes you brighter. More women refuse willingly or not to marry men who they see as less educated than themselves.
