Alot of what is shown in this movie is actually false, most of it is a distorted perception of the true events. A.O Neville for example, being portrayed as a bad guy, when many aboriginals actually sent thank you letters to him for helping them. There was no struggle when retrieving the girls (as shown in the movie). A good movie that is advertised as a "true story", that twists alot of the story. Once more, a good movie non-the-less.

This is a beautiful movie. Very well done!! By the way, Kenneth Branagh do mostly all the narration of this documental coming on the DVD, he acted there as Mr Neville in the movie :)
