@fygfc i heard that the 929rr always jumps from 3500-about6000 rpm when i got mine it felt like it would hop off the road. i put a power chip in it and it helped, but i heard from the dealer that y they came out with the 954 so quick but idk. every forum i read about 929s is they all jump a little no matter what u do when u get n the throttle pretty hard.
I love honda, I have had a 250 dirtbike since I was 13, now 17 looking to get my first street legal... I think a 929 erion would be a little much but I would love it if y'all think I could handle it... I was looking more fore a 600 f4i... what do y'all thing(: appreciate the feedback.
@SlamPoDunk666 Hi. I have a friend with a 600 f4i. Great bike, you won't make a mistake! He poped a wheelie in 3rd with me on the back, a power wheelie. He got a titanium pipe on it and thats it! You can go for it!
@SlamPoDunk666 Go for a older 600, like an FZR600, of a cbr600. Enough peak hp to make you smile like an idiot and a lot more grunt than newer 600s. I just bought a CBR900 from 93 and I can tell you its not for the faint of heart, or the beginning rider ;). Start down low and work your way up. Thats where the fun is!
question: did your sc44 run well in 2. gear at constant 3000 (~50-60 km/h)?
my problem is that my baby runs very unconfortable - it really shakes my arms forwards and backwards like i'm sitting on a rocking horse.
with 4000 or 2500 it runs well but at 3000-3500 - no way!
also have the problem that in "N" (do you call it "idling mixture" ? sorry but i'm german ;-) ) sometimes it seems/sounds to me that my baby trys to put a gear in...
@MrAllik123 Sound slike you need to have it tuned, get a power commander if you don't already have one and have them smooth out the power band. It could be your air box flap too, as that opens up right about 3000rpm. You'll notice your bike gets louder at 3000rpms from the flapper opening. Honda did this just for quiting the noise at lower rpm's.
yeah metric system!!! a system that is actually based on things that make sense!!! i think america is the only country that uses a measuring system based such nonsense!
@ballinonabudget Because America is one of the few countries left that's too lazy to convert to the metric system. I live in Canada and we've been metric forever. Same with most other countries. It's just easier. Check it out man, you'll wonder why in the hell you're still rocking imperial.
i fully agree to you man..... but only when you have "mp/h" on your display ;-)
my 2001 cbr fireblade (sc44) ran 292 km/h this summer - all original HONDA parts, only muffler changed to a BOS carbon which gives your baby about 5 xtra-hps
but remember: display-speed ain't real-speed !
the sc44 only shows the exact speed at about 80 km/h (...for mp/h drivers: divide with 1.614xxx) - i read that about 290 km/h is a real 270-275 km/h (-5% or some like that...)
You have harnessed the true power of a 929. Thanks for uploading this video.

@BigBassTurd thx man, but my problems are solved yet.... MY BLADE IS DEAD !!! :-(((
stupid 84 years old people should not drive a car anymore (...and not not not on a sunny sunday in march...).
yes, it's a FIREBLADE but it's sadly not hot enough to cut a car in 2 pieces at a speed of 45 mph...
summer's there and i have to ride my cb 500s again (...when i'm able to...) - wtf.....
but sc50/sc57 is waiting for me 'til 2012 ;-)
HAVE FUN ON YOUR BIKE BUT WATCH OUT - CARS ARE STRONGER !!! ;-)
