  • many of us got it twisted which is the bible never said that God's music has to sound a certain way.We need to be like Paul and say where ever Jesus is being preached praise the Lord.

  • soounds just like soulja boy and party like a rock star....sad, so sad. 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Those who are in Christ are a new creation. Old things have past away, behold all things have become new." No different than any worldy music, just because you don't have bad words you think you are different than these other musicians? Not hating or anything just saying.

    watch?v=R-ycCmb2wWo

  • i like this

  • I am a 15 year old and i understand this language these artist are speaking and it is not God Like in anyway. You people love the cecular music soo much that you will take anyything that sounds like the sinful music you guys love as long as they call themselves christian. you do not even take the time to litsen to their lyrics. If you people knew what rocking it out like a rockstar meant you would no it is far from holy. you can call it judging if you want but i call it stupidity, and ignorance

  • @armel39 good words bro. amem to all u just said

  • Can someone please explain to me how this song helps spread word of God. If the lost were to be saved by getting crunk and "rocking" it out MTV would be the most christlike channel on the tv... BET would be the most christlike channel on tv these men talk about being fly getting buck. I really do know see the difference between what artist like Lil Jon and this song right here that you guys seem to think that rocking out like a rockstar is called ministry.

  • Did M-Eazy go secular? Because I can not find him on youtube, and when I type in his name this other non-christian rapper comes up.

  • i mean his shirt says it all "self define"? does that reflect God at all? no! it reflects the self-defining generation of today. I mean i can barely distinguish this from a secular song. his name? irocc? I rock? i mean seriously...he's just another wanna be rapper who couldn't make it in mainstream radio so he tried Christian...i'm not fooled.

  • ummmmm no thanks

  • Comment removed

  • so sexy omg! i luv him! marry me lol but no seriously MARRY ME IROCC!

  • IRROC and all that hair- fabulous :)

  • This seems a bit self-glorifying.. All glory be to God. Prayin for u all. God First, we're just the lower-case vessels he graciously chooses to use. God first rock stars...

  • 1 Peter 4

11If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

  • 1st off it's talking about the holy spirit taking controle, they talking about the word,l and how the lord wants us to rock it out praise him...."Jesus is the the rock.....for Christ the King"......please listen to the whole song thank you!!!!

  • This is imitating something that isnt good to begin with... be creative

  • where is the teachin in dis song but that they rock it out

  • @whatis9991

I can be wrong but it is a fun Christian song. Better then secular rap where they curse all day and bring shame to your face.

  • Okay I read the negative...now lets identify the positive!!!!!!!! I heard the name Jesus that's a MAJOR start and beginning!!!!!!!! I don't think I heard his name once when I indulged in secular music...

  • check this out is your money in a christian bank? did you put christian gas in your car? did you eat at a christian restaurant? We all need to learn from Jesus Christ himself he did not choose to hang out with the believers of that day and when he did they crucified him. hint hint if God does not convict you do not let man convict you. live your life!!!!!!!!!!

  • my jame love irocc he da best

  • you shall know the true and the true shall set YOU free. until then u keep singing about urself unperfect man, remember the JESUS is the way, the same way we nneed to walk on..

  • wanna be ganstaz. this dnt even glorify jesus. get diz out of here lol

  • @jeezyboy33 Not judging them having fun, but the reality is that bragging on riches is what sells records. If people wanted apples they would rap about fruit and stamp Jesus on it. It's about what sells. It's about money.

  • @jeezyboy33 amen folk!

  • O maaan. They are braggins soo much. This song does not glorify God too much. They're boasting as much as wordly artists do. They need to speak less of themselves and more about Christ, Real Talk.

  • @africanboybkman how bout instead about worryin bout them and havin fun on a 1 track you stop bein judgemental and look inside yourself for a minute, your not perfect neither is rocc or his homies

  • @bigredchokeslam Hey im jus being real. W8 plz dont tell me you're one of those Christians that believe we're not supposed to judge. You do know Jesus tells us to judge with righteous judgment. You cant deny that they were bragging or boasting like wordly artists. Yes I know they're not perfect which is why im saying what im sayin. Cuz if they are rlly tryna glorify God in all they do then I feel it necessary to point out their mistakes.

  • I haven't even thought to check on how IroCc was doing since I saw him perform back in 04. I am SO happy for him and what he's doing to the rap game. I pray for PLENTY more just like him!!!

  • Yezzir

  • This my jam

  • man i love this song!!! imma rock it out

  • this is a new sound I love it

  • Has anyone else noticed that this version is different from the one sold by Amazon MP3, Lala, etc.?

  • if you're a christian get a brain and second i like getting lyrics of songs after like accurate ones

stop making fun of the deaf right? once you get a retarded family memeber or a kid i can get laughs

  • Comment removed

  • learn to read english

  • where can u buy this

  • @Shortylykemike chill cuzin

  • yea man i cant believe he said the "J" word. seriously dude, if you dont wanna hear christian lyrics, then DONT LISTEN TO CHRISTIAN MUSIC.

  • Yall know that the enemy will try and stop all things that will expose him for who he really is!! God loves to use "foolish things to confound the wise" and Hip Hop is no different!! Keep it up and God will allow you to minister to more and more of this lost generation. Like I was telling my mother the other day, you wouldn't go to China and minister in Spanish. You gotta reach the youth by speaking their language!!

  • @BraidsbyCoco THATS A GOOD WAY TO PUT IT.

  • Furthermore, we are a prophetic people. We ORIGINATE this thing that you are saying we're getting from the world. The kingdom of darkness can only counterfeit the real. God is Creator and Originator.

  • SAVE SOULS AT ALL COSTS!!! Forget what people have to say about what God is doing through YOU. In everything you do, do it unto the glory of ELOHIM! Somebody (especially the Scribes and Pharisees) love to find something wrong with what you're doing or the way you're doing it. PRODUCE! Let the fruit come forth...while yall hatin and finding something wrong with his offering, show us your fruit. Our offerings have to be acceptable to God (not man). And if you feel someone is in error, pray.

  • yo at 2:43 it sounds like hes swearing is he? im not too sure

  • lol ur deaf

  • haha you're a douche just saying and its funk

  • once again you are deaf. "he is saying you ain't as crunk as me you ain't as buck as me"

You are the douche trying to find swear words in christian hiphop...and if you are a christian i appreciate the hypocrisy..i was exploring the christian sound.

    God Bless,

  • @FattieMcNair he is saying Funk

  • @FattieMcNair o u mean right thre heck no he said yeah dude

  • @MonkeyWrench971 thanks dude im not the best with listening to rap, im more of a hardcore kid so when i blast music i love having clean lyrics

  • @MonkeyWrench971 wat up mane..jus letn u kno hez actually saying "buck" ..datz memphis n dirty souf slang..itz kinda like sayin u aint scared ya dig

  • I'am a rock it out!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!

  • 14irule....

i dont see the problem w/ talking bout what God gave him, at least he knows he couldnt get it on his own.

and i also dont see y its a problem when christian take beats from the non christian songs, its nvr a problem when its the other way around.

i say all they are doing is taking back what is rightfully Gods. Music is a ministry no matter what beat it comes in the only thing you should worry about is the lyrics... the whole point to the song is to get the word out to the world!!

  • @vinciebabie, the deeper you have an understanding of God's purpose you'll understand why its important that no credit can be given to the world. When you are trying to win souls and get ppl to turn away from the world, you can't do that with music that will remind them of what they are trying to get away from.

  • Christian Rap helped me find God. I used to secular music and a few Christian music but now all I listen to is Christian. I go to this church every Sunday and they play Christian Rock and Worship music and it helped me come to God.

  • ...continued:

There is nothing wrong with rap and I like certain things by these artists but as an artist you have to be careful spiritually what may be tied into your music when using secular hooks and beats. God is all powerful and can give artists beats and hooks far more superior than what the world can come up with, much blessings.

  • Understandable.

But i think that you have to be careful spiritually what may be tied into music regardless.

In a way i see what your saying like some of these gospel songs are questionable, but when it comes to beats, they are only considered secular because everyone labels it as that. i think that its the world that is taking what is Gods and claiming it as there's and all I'm saying is that now it seems like everyone's afraid to take it back... but that's just me.

  • @vinciebabie, I appreciate you not getting defensive as so many do when this topic is discussed. Again, the rap, the beats, I don't have a problem with it and I agree that God is the source of this talent, I just don't think Christian artists should have to resort to stealing beats from secular songs, especially when they are capable of coming up with their own.

  • With me i'm open to hearing the world no matter what form it comes in. people can call it secular or what not but the way i see it is that it belongs to God and the world choose to use it for evil.

ex. sex is used in the world and given a bad name when its actually a good thing, IF done the way the bible shows it to be done.

i unno, like i said its just me....

  • Also, Paul talks about having freedom in our faith but if what you are doing is causing your brother to stumble than to refrain from doing it...That is the problem I have, these secular beats and hooks are only a reminder of our old life...I'm just saying be authentic in the gifts God has given you. @versbamfam, I will check out that track, thanks!

  • i have a song called "Holy Heat" featuring Mr. Del and Kdrama. check it out

    myspace /bamfam07

  • irocc stands for i rely on christ completely

  • I l0ve this song nd Mr.Del'z part iz sik!!!

    :D

  • have u heard 24's by canton jones i was on this website and they think that it talks more about what god gave him and not about god........... and about mr .del he like steals his beats and lyrics from non christian people like his song oh my god he got that from d4l shake that laffy taffy. even though im not gonna lie the song is tight but its not his beat and all the lyrics

  • Lol tha first person in tha vid is Irocc

    hiz name standz 4 I.Rely.On.Christ.Constently....Irocc

  • what there really doing is just trying 2 attract the other non Christian crowd with stuff that is close 2 what they listen 2 already

  • I know.. I don't see it yet either. Sounds like they are only promoting themselves.

  • HEY EVERYONE AS SOON AS YOU WATCH THIS BEAUTIFUL VIDEO BY MY BOY canton GO CHECK OUT MY NEW SINGLE CALLED DEATH OF THE DIME PLEASE!! LEAVE COMMENTS I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT JUST CLICK ON MY PAGE PLEASE! GOD BLESS thanks

  • It was a good song, love the beat but I didn't hear that much about God. I wouldn't go as far and say it's of the world. that would be over judgemental. I've listened to Canton Jones and he always talks about God and same with Mr. Del. Irrocc is a concern cause he does talk about getting money a lot. But regardless they all love the Lord and if one song doesn't say Jesus in every verse who are we to judge and say their not Christian?

  • Clean fun, thats alrite...better than whats out there on the opposite side.

  • Comment removed

  • Aweh, I remember when Irocc was little, little, little :)

Okay, he wasn't that little when he first came around (like twelve or thirteen),

but he sounds so grown now!

    Anyway, this song was alright.

I would've preferred if it didn't sound like a mix between Soulja Boy and Party Like a Rockstar. We're supposed to be IN the world, not OF the world.

It's great these guys wanna "rock it out" for Christ, but if I can't even distinguish their sound from every other rapper in the biz, then...

  • These songs are for everyone... including the ones that are in the world and they can identify with this because it sounds like what they listen to everyday. The word never changes... but the way it is given to people has to adapt with the times. It is time for people to stop acting like music and dance for God has to be behind everything... He deserves the most up-to-date praise... not the things from 10 years ago... so it doesn't sound/look so worldly. If it's for Christ... we should be happy

  • This ain't preaching the gospel

  • Your exactly right. =/

  • the last guy rapping is irocc...

  • let the song breathe... its good.

  • Any 1 know where i can download this song or anyhting?

  • Comment removed

  • Everything is better in christ, no matter how enticing the world may seem.

  • @mzhavensentful i herdd that.

  • I agree the gospel is about Christ and the walk is not easy... but along the way you come to seasons in which God will bless you and open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that you will not have room to receive... so like i said earlier if a christian artist wants to have fun with a track or two (not a whole album) on their album and share how they have been blessed so be it

  • and not all blessings are material Soloman was blessed with wisdom... But in the case of these artists they were blessed with material things

  • music 2 my ears homie! Yes indeed..thats the truth bro!!!

  • Mayne why are so many people negative... did they cuss, promote sex, drugs, adultry? No they were just raping about some of the things they have been blessed with... a lot of comments say this is not promoting God... well think about it like this for everyone who is saved does everything that comes out of your mouth straight from the bible or glorify God? in my opinion if a christian artist wants to have fun with a track or two on their album so be it necessarily

  • Just recently my pastor said over the pulpit that although he may not understand the music we listen to or he may not agree with it and approve of it.. as long as something of the Lord is getting across to us and its getting us the message then go ahead. This coming from a denomination that thinks of strictly listening to christian music. What he said shocked us all, we never would have thought of hearing it from him. But I have to totally agree (Of course that's just coming from a young person)

  • A-MAN

  • @just2raw4yall I agree they are just having fun..they are showing Christians how to have fun..if you think this is a secular song then you need your ears checked

  • @JoEClove : I agree, Amen..

  • @just2raw4yall dude way to get it straight

    keep rockin it out yo

  • brah i gotta tell u......just because we are now saved dont mean we cant look nice or talk about the things the lord allowed us to have....wat u gotta understand is u can sread the word of jesus christ and look nice or ride in da best cars......christian rappers can tell about the great things the've been blessed with!

  • I think we have to be more cautious as to what we put out when we try to represent christ. I listen to lecrae, trip,da truth and you can tell they are promoting Christ not rims or physical things they own... We have to distinguish our selves from the world... There is allot of things we can find to talk about that uplifts other in their growth from the text .... It all has to have a biblical base still...

  • lil irocc iz tight reppin christ

  • Where does Christ get the glory. This is the long hair soldier boy and I pray for all the so call leaders or elders that is influencing this brother and not denying themselves for Christ. Rock star wow I already no where rock come from. Wow do we want to be like the world. Only time will tell the real from the profane

  • I totally agree from you .... We have to be more than surface rappers... We have to go into the word...cant comproise.

  • I understand what u saying....and i think u jst mite b mistakin with the message that they are sending....see wen those dudes were name wat dey had they werent bien materialistic bt stating dat u can be saved and ride on rims or have nice clothes.

  • this that JAMMMM!!!!!!!

they was playin ths at Spiritural Encounter 2k9

  • I like this song! Rock it out for Jesus dude cuz aint nobody else doin it!!!!!! For the people down unda meh ,listen to the words and you'll here the message. Jesus is in ths mix

  • it not cool

  • no its not. Rev..3:15-16.

  • Honestly i think ya brothas needa stop hating and let them do what they do. Sure they dont mention jesus in da song. Dat dont mean they fake. And jus cuz they say jesus dont mean they real. But you shouldnt judge folks and jus let God handle em cuz its between God and them. On da real tho Mr.Del dnt be soundin too christian.

  • wich is irocc?

  • the one rapping first

  • All gospel songs don't have Jesus they really talkin about where being soldout for Jesus will get you... But i see wat you sayin

  • it"s the best

  • actually the order of the artists M-EAZY, canton jones, mr. del, and THEN irocc

  • Comment removed

  • i dont doubt what youre saying but the Lord needs to be represented properly, or we mess up or skew his reputation. Sell out for Christ... ask him to help you forget about worldly music, vanity and such. You may be used mightily in the kingdom some day.

    Brother in Christ,

    "T"

  • babymil90... the God chews up and spits out the lukewarm. Im a huge CA-JO fan... but as for you commenting on the issue with a page clad in music propelled by thie things of the enemy such as ungodly sex, worldly talk and vanity, its tough for those who are really sold out for Christ to receive a response from you.

  • this is a christian song write? its shweet!!

it is just something cool to listen to other than constant worship. we worship with everything we do right? :D love this song

  • all these ppl are tlkin about how mr.del and canton dont have the word in their songs. but if they really knew them and what they were talking about they would also know that mr.del and canton jones dont just do music, they also preach. both preached at my church a couple times and i even visited mr.del's church in memphis. they are two of the most powerful preachers ive ever heard. they made me feel so empowered and ready to do what needed to be done for christ.

  • well u need 2 get under some REAL preachin so u can then discern and tell the difference between the sheep and the goats!

  • thanks for that wonderful comment. i hope you can discern the sarcasm.who are you to say what is REAL preaching and what isnt. to me it sounds like youre doing some REAL HATING. and im not about to argue with you about it. as long as they are bringing ppl to God, i think He is satisfied with that.

  • and after looking at ur page,,i see why u dont recieve what i said.nor even know what is real and what is counterfit.Matt..7:21.

  • Stop hatin brova, just let the Lord handle His bizz

  • i will never stop hatin how people mis-represent the Lord..brova.

  • Get 2 know the truth of what Gods Word teaches and what it dont teach!

  • i know thats right

  • Comment removed

  • Well if Mr.Del and canton indeed do preach it even worse that they would not promote Jesus in their music. Doing a song without a cursing doesn't make it holy it just make its conscious music;..

  • Really nice song,

  • Rockstar- Jesus is the Rock!

  • Irocc is wearing too much makeup in these covers.

  • thats exactly the problem!Too much SELF in there music.

  • wow i always get hiped over hiphop gosple musik

  • awesome!

  • thx

  • i think the last guy rappin was irocc. and what vid was that where the ppl were dancing?

  • how bout we all just praise Jehovah for givin us some dope beats to bang out that are pleasing to Him and not spittin on gettin laid, slangin dope, shootin people and droppin eff bombs every sentence

  • naw,how bout we praise JESUS!! Acts 4:12.

  • Jehovah is another name for God who is Jesus

  • i know what it means,my point is there is one name given in the N.T. that is above every name..that name is Jesus.Phill2,Acts 4:12.

  • wow.. i think that you are missing the point buddy

  • i was thinking the same thing about you, maybie you can clearify the point Biblically,as well I.??!!

  • What does your screen name "jahcal777" refer to?

  • Its a name i made up 12 yrs ago.Its an acrynum for Joyful And Humble Creative And Loyal..JAHCAL. The 777 is an extended 7 which means completion,777 just emphasizes it as the Hebrews did in the O.T.

  • nice :)

  • I like that

  • hold up fellows, don't b quick to push them to the side, continue to pray and encourage these guys, dont let your words b a stumbling block to anyone.

  • Man, i understand that, i have 3 of Mr. Del's cds... From 2003 to now, he still speaks on the same thing (ex: his status, his economic rise, and the 'Holy South')... Buy his cd and you will hear more about Holy South than God.. There sounds like no spiritual growth on his albums.

  • hot Track!!!! roc it out for life!

  • Nice!! another great track by Mr. Del and the HolySouth

  • Man, I like Del music but i'm already saved... If unsaved people listen then they'll just think its an edited version of some secular artist...

  • it is also just one song of many by all these artists so if somebody who isnt saved hears this track and starts gettin into Del's or Canton's otherstuff then they will undoubtedly hear God's word bein spoke over tracks as many of their other songs come with a real solid message

  • yeah they buy dels cd and get 2 hear SECULAR sin promoting artists! Cantons music is on point, except when hes on other SECULAR artists cds! Read 2 Cor..6:14-18.

  • i wish they would..But i think they need more Word in THEM 2 put more Word in there music..I feel u on this,it
