  • Did you model when you were younger? You need to!!!!!! You're gorgeous!

  • Me too! I totally found out really early (the day I missed my period) and I feel like it's taking forEVER. I'm also 7 weeks right now (the same as u in this video) and have my appt next week. Also, we're not telling anyone until 12 weeks, so that's another month of keeping quiet! And also since I know, I'm paranoid about every little twinge or cramp I get. I know, I know, think positive! :)

  • ....oh yeah, and of course.....CONGRATULATIONS!!!! =]

  • I'm 7wks pregnant right now...and it's actually discouraged to get any sort of flu shot or blood work, because you'll be getting tons of blood work done w/ your doctor anyway. Always check w/ your doctor on anything and everything prior to anything you may be questioning. ;)

  • Me too found at our weeks and I am now 5 weeks and two days, have to wait until 25th Nov to get first US - URGH!

  • I know how you feel, except we have to wait even longer unless we want to pay out of pocket (which we probably will because we are impatient lol)

  • YAY!!!! Glad everything went good!!

  • thank you :)

  • Check up CNN a woman just lost her baby to the swine flu.

  • That's one baby out of the other millions in this world who are still alive and healthy. Not saying this to be rude, but saying it because it's true.

  • Let's pray no you you know is added to the list--also not being rude.

  • One baby out of billions. Also it is not recommended for babies under the age of 6 months to get the flu vaccine. So lots of times there is nothing we can do to prevent such sad things from happening.

  • there are risks with getting the vaccine and risks with getting swine flu. The vast majority of fatalities for pregnant women and fetal loss have occurred in the 3rd trimester, and in women with pre existing respiratory conditions. There are also reports now that the vaccine is causing miscarriages for women early in pregnancy. Every woman has to weigh the costs/benefits for herself, very personal decision.

  • OMG yessss i feel u girl, i found out at 4 weeks my appt is on nov 20th wait , wait and more wait!! i just want to hear the words " everything is great and healthy" from the doctor

  • only another hour or so til we hopefully hear those exact words!! ahh soo nervous now! Congrats!!

  • have you guys planned on how your birthing plan yet? naturally, in a hospital etc? i know its super early but always fun to find out other couples thoughts :)

  • most likely hospital birth, with an epidural at some point...though I respect the hell out of women who choose home births!! We live in a duplex w/ 3 dogs and a cat, no way I'm doing it here! insurance is also a factor as well.

  • I meant to tell you about this song which is amazing for pregnancy. It's called Capri by Colbie Callit. It's just a beautiful song that I can't wait for fit my life. :)

  • Yay congrats on 7 weeks! I loved watching all your TTC videos and I'm happy it all worked out for you :) me and my hubby are TTC baby #2 and we are SO excited!! and don't worry I'm sure your baby is just fine!!! Its so exciting getting to see the little bean for the first time!! My friend is 9 weeks and her DR is making her wait until 20 weeks for a sono!

  • aww thanks! I could not wait 20 weeks, we would break down and pay out of pocket somewhere else lol. BABY DUST!!!

  • I know what you mean by the sense of smell issue! I am in the same boat as you. I had to unplug my air fresheners because they were making me so nauseated. My gag reflexes are sensitive, too. I have a hard time brushing my teeth or eating food without gagging. Yesterday at the pet store I saw a dog eating his own poop and I couldn't stop gagging, which I did in front of about 20 people at the pet store! Sooo embarrassing! LOL

  • blech! cannot wait til it goes away! lol

  • haha I know what you mean! I hope people just go straight to thinking I'm pregnant...I mean I literally get asked at least 5 times a year by random people ANYWAY...seriously people come up and ask me quite often, it was a little depressing, but now that I'm actually pregnant I welcome it a lot more!

  • u got a cute little bump cming! you got a good body dnt worry about putting weight it all the joy of having a baby!

  • aww thanks! ya I agree, being skinny is the last thing on my mind!

  • I agree with you about the flu shot. They've massed produced them and I personally don't think they've done enough studies on how it effects the unborn child. Just wash you're hands a lot and drink lots of oj.

  • exactly! and I have had TONS of contact with people who have had it over the last 6 months so I think I would have gotten it if i was going to. I am by no means a hermit! lol

  • i agree with you, its really clear to tell who are the perves and who arent.. !! im not a prego perve! i promise lol jk, im pretty sure you know im not!! lol btw, about the belly, you are most likely going to be bloated..i was anyway, and it made me look bigger sometimes and smaller others. your belly will get there hun!! your belly bump will be there before you know it.. !

  • god Amanda, stop lying...you're the biggest preggo perv ever. :D lol JK! Ya I'm bloated for sure! Kind of impossible not to gain weight when I don't go #2 anymore...umm TMI? lol

  • i hope you start to feel better soon darling!! the tiredness will go away I PROMISE!! but then it will come back 10 fold in the third trimester.. lol mine did anyway. BTW do what you feel is best about the shots!! Just make sure you take precautions..for me, im EXTRA worried because i ad epilepsy for 10 years and they say kids or teens who have had epilepsy are at a high chance to get sick, But im thinking that a lot of this is hype..though you never can be too sure..

  • Its so weird but the stomach symptoms have died down soooo much over the last week! Exhaustion is still there but it seems to be much more manageable when its not combined with queeeeziness.

  • I so feel the same as you with the "can't be bothered - whatever!" comment and I'm not even pregnant! :) I've nearly finished my degree at university here in Australia so I know exactely how you feel with all your papers due! I'm meant to be working on one right now :) happy 7 weeks! xx

  • thanks! papers are the DEVIL! haha

  • Yay for 7 weeks! I really need to do a vid... Gah for stupid morning sickness. I have a teny tiny little bulge between hips.. so exciting!

  • aww yay for mini-bumps!

  • a great way to know if u are growing is to measure your waist every update...that way you can see how much ur growning and us too!!! can wait to see a lil bumb lol take care!!

  • You know...I considered measuring but I'm so not the type to care about numbers lol. Not sure that I want to start! I'll just gauge it by my jeans...when they start to get tight, I'll know!

  • WEEK 7!!! ONLY 33 TO GO!!!! take care-eve

  • yay!!! 33 is smaller than 40! so thats good lol

  • Yes, the wait for the 1st dr. appointment takes FOREVER! I remember the days being so SO LONG! The clinic I went to gave everyone an ultrasound at 8 weeks! Hope the same for you!

  • ahh me too!! thanks!!

  • Congrats on week 7 darling :) It seems to me like your pregnancy is already going by fast, lol! Good luck w/ your appt. (I'm sure PeaPod will be absolutely perfect)!!

  • thank you Emerald! That actually makes me feel better. I need to believe that everything will be perfect right now!

  • Congrats on week 7=]

thats crazy i have an appointment on the 27. I actually get to go in to see my doc on fri=] jsut because i have had 2 miscarriages and they want to watch over me im so excited i hope this one goes fine im soo excited jsut like you=]

  • aww I wish you the best for your appointment! fingers crossed for healthy babies!

  • I have been so queezy!!! I can hardly stand it! I skipped school today because I just need a break!! glad to see an update cannot wait to hear how your doctor appointment goes!

  • aww I had a day like that...sleep between classes if you're able to! Fall break could not have come at a better time last week!! I'll keep y'all updated for sure :)

  • Aw so exciting! Getting further & further. In my experience, they usually do a sonogram at the first appointment b/c thats the best way to calculate your due date & see how far along you REALLY are. There was no problem with me & I had a sonogram done at my first apt! I didn't hear the heart beat until a few weeks after- they started using the doppler at every apt. So cute, last year Jon and I got a pumpkin for each of us, and 1 for the baby that was in my belly, too! It was a tiny lil pumpkin!

  • aww I hope like hell they give me a sono!!! I don't live in KC anymore but over there, I guess they have women come in to confirm right away and they get a sono then too! AWW baby Leah had her own punkin and she didn't even know it! Ours is small enough that I don't think I can even carve it...maybe just paint a PeaPod on it!

  • Good luck!

  • im so excited for you!! i hope they let you bring your camera! i would have been14 weeks today. i never got to have a u/s i wish i would have :( . i cant wait to see more videos im so happy for you.

  • aww thanks! I'm sorry for your loss though, that has to be tough :(

  • Oh I know! This pregnancy is a surrogacy pregnancy and I used to joke that only Surro eyes could see that second faint line until day 10! LOL

  • haha classic! and congrats!

  • Oh and my first visit was talking about my history, got a papsmere, and an INTERNAL ultrasound!!! (I had no idea about an internal ultrasound... I was shocked!) LOL I was 5w1d.... it was too early to see much... so 1 week later at 6w1d I got another ultrasound!!! :) In 2 days we find out the sex!!! Wish me luck!! I hope the baby is cooperative!!! :)

  • yeah lol the internal US thing I figured, still not looking forward to it...I think I'm gonna refuse a pap though...because even if its abnormal, I'm not letting them do any procedures while I'm pregnant! Last thing I need is to start spotting! GOOD LUCK with the gender determination!! Do you have a feeling either way?

  • What did you find out? Let me know. The reason they do a pap is because they want to find out if you have any STDs that could harm the baby during delivery. Sometimes they can just give you antibodies so that they baby is not passed the illness. Totally not saying you have an STD but it's probably not a bad thing to get when you are pregnant. I have never heard any info against paps during pregnancy.

  • I already have a history of abnormal paps, followed by several unnecessary cervical biopsies (OUCH), which may compromise my cervix's ability to dilate when its time to! I had this done in Feb last, so I wouldn't have gotten any stds since then lol and even if I still have low grade dysplasia (which has gotten better over the years) I would refuse any treatment while pregnant. I guess I don't see the point ya know? My medical care has been seriously mismanaged for this b4 so I'm very untrusting.

  • At first both me and hubby wanted a BOY.... but now i'm leaning towards GIRL! I don't have that "feeling" I just know that i'm leaning toward girl.... BUT I will be equally thrilled either way!!! I just can't wait to find out!! I remmember when I was 7 weeks! And seriously.... it has flown by soooooo fast!!! Soon you will be in my boat... about ready to find out the sex!!! SO EXCITING!!!

  • YAY! Congrats on week 7!!! I'm 18 weeks and the last couple weeks my back hurts when I get up from laying down... I know how you feel.... I bet i'm guna have bad back aches throughout this pregnancy and probabily horrible back labor!!! HAHA! But it's all worth it!!! :)

  • Happy Week 7 .. How exciting !!! One week till your apt. Bring a list of ANY questions you have to your DR so you don't forget !!

If you want an u/s ask for you .. You totally have the right !! I hope you get one cause its sooo amazing to see your little peanut!

Congrats again .. You look AMAZING!!

  • Aww thank you!! I am dying to see the little PeaPod who has been causing me all this exhaustion lol

  • I bet .. It really feels real when you see the little heart flicker !! I love that you call the baby PeaPod .. When I was pregnant with my son ( who is now 6 years old ) he was my little peanut!

  • Aw, I'm excited for you to finally get in the doctors to see your little bean!! I hope you get to see your little bean, at least! That would not be fun to not get one! You seriously inspire me and give me hope that my turn is coming! I also think I am going to make TTC videos. Maybe. haha. I am not exactly as easy on the eyes as you :) But good luck with everything!

  • yeah me too!!! I know the feeling, I used to be the non-preggo one watching all the TTC and preggo vids! So your turn can come before you know it! aww you're sweet, I think you should make vids if you want to! They help lots of people who are TTC!

  • good luck on your doctors appt! hope everything goes really well for u!

  • aww thanks!! I bet I'll be nervous the morning of but I hope and pray everything is great with the baby!

  • YEAH FOR 7 weeks !!!!!! And yeah for the doctor appointment coming up :)... Do you get to have an ultrasound? Most of the first appointments you don't from what I know. And yeah tiredness totally sucks !!! I nap all the time now... craziness because I never nap !

I still can't decide if I should show my belly yet because it is definately just a fat roll :)

  • I better get a US! They'll at least want to find a heartbeat won't they? Because if it stopped developing they'd want to make sure I don't carry it any longer than I have to right? Yeah obviously I hope thats not the case! Girl if your jeans aren't getting tighter yet then I'd be surprised! There is a baby in that tummy so be nice to it! :D You're beautiful now and will be beautiful when you're showing too!

  • The only reason I got to have an ultrasound is because there was discrepency on how far along I was. And I went for another appointment when I was 9 weeks and she couldn't pick up the heartbeat with the doppler just yet, however, I am heavier than you and they had to go through a good layer of fat which is probably why they couldn't hear it.

I don't know how all doctor offices work and yours could be totally different. i am just giving you a heads up just in case you don't get one :)

  • I think I'm going to call and ask...so it doesn't ruin my day if I get there and no US. Or I can just go crazy on them and make them! or not...lol

  • Well keep me posted on what they say. You could just lie and say you don't know how far along you are and then they will give you one :)

  • I agree... the sooner you find out the harder it is!! LOL

I found out I was at 9dpo!!! LOL

    Congrats again honey!!!

  • Thanks!! My first test that *I* knew was positive was 8dpo, but no one else could see the line until 9 and 10dpo...only a mother's eyes....lol

  • YAY 7wks!!! I feel like ur preg is going so fast already!!! It feels like everyday your one week further!!! LOL Its prob going slow to you tho huh? I know the early days dragged ass for me :(

I was excited about my first appointment too and we ended up seeing a real bitch who treated us like crap and completely ignored my partner!!! Luckily we didnt see her long and got a wonderful MW :)

    PREGGO PERVS SUCK!
