I can't say I'm a fan of Axl or G'n'R, but everything he says here is spot on. Nirvana were the Boston of the 90s, but you'd think from their attitude that they were reinventing the wheel. About the only thing the Nirvana "revolution" brought about that I can see was a change in hair styles.

Axel was a big part of Guns n Roses, that's for sure, but it isn't the same without at least most of the origional members. Guns n roses was too big to be one man. As far as i'm concerned, it's dead. Axel is making money off of his songs that he wrote while he was young and reckless. These lyrics would make sense for a young and reckless person, but now that he's old, they just don't make sense.

in 1986 but had no way of finding the original lyricist to obtain permission to record, so he tried to partially rewrite the song a couple of years later. Then he read up on copyright law and found out that not even a partial rewrite was possible, so in the end he recorded it almost unchanged from the original copy given him.

Guns n roses started alternative grunge. We just didn't have 100 names for music. They were the only band that had hardcore metal head fans respect and Rock and pop fans also. I like nirvania but they are very overated since Kurt died. @thatcreepydude I'm not here to fight, it's christmas! but i disagree, if i saw video's of him racially abusing a black dude then fair enough, but he used a word in a song.... and if you looked up the whole Axl vs Kurt thing and you will see that Kurt hated Axl first and whatever Axl had to say about Kurt was through retaliation.

@axlroseGNR88 I'm not fighting either. I'm actually done with this after this comment. I don't need to change any one's opinions. In my opinion it was very wrong of Axl to use those words. It's just ignorant to me. And In my opinion Kurt is with out a doubt a better musician.

You know, it was probably inevitable that the two singers would dislike one another. GnR were rich, and entitled when Nirvana broke. Less than a year later, Grunge Rock had begun to replace traditional rock as the top format., placing these guys in direct competition for the same market. Plus, they were both drug users who once they obtained fame, began to believe the sycophants and hanger-ons that fed their egos. A true pity that Kurt died.. An equal shame that Axl ruined his band and his voice

I can't say I'm a fan of Axl or G'n'R, but everything he says here is spot on. Nirvana were the Boston of the 90s, but you'd think from their attitude that they were reinventing the wheel. About the only thing the Nirvana "revolution" brought about that I can see was a change in hair styles.
