  • only works in japan cause their cars are made of rice LMFAO X-D i'd like to see them town my f250

  • Some of you are seeing the glass half empty........instead of posting the "what if's, and what about's" can't you see the benefit of a veh being moved out of your way so you can get to whereever it is you're going? You all need to look at the bright side of things. Like dsa100e6 says, excellen solution if you "really" think about it.

  • This would be niffty if state police could get cars off to the side so traffic could keep moving until a TOW TRUCK arrives.

  • i would love to see that tow a smashed vehicle with a broken axle. , since he wasn't using strops i'm sure if he brakes hard or get hit from behind its would be so dangerous.. how about if the car was 4wd. i realise the weight of the car is on the front wheel so the motor bike is only pulling with little weight on the back wheels. the front wheel has a low speed rating so it would not be designed for high mileage or motorway use..

  • Hummmmm Doesn't look to safe as others on here have pointed out. I bet this thing can't take sharp turns at 50 miles or even 30 miles.....?

  • The idea is bike splits lanes and gets to broken down car (easier and quicker than a tow truck) it tows it far enough out of traffic to free up that lane. Some parts of freeways/bridges dont have emergency lanes for access or to push a broken down car into. Im sure he wont be towing that car nowhere near freeway speeds or very long distances... emergency stopping bays or freeway offramps are enough to get the car out of the way. Excellent solution if you think about it.

  • watch the car fly off and crush the driver lol

  • Here is a good video to show a Harley purist just how crummy a "Jap Junk" Honda Goldwing is, which modified bike they used to pull these small sized cars with. Goldwings are tremendous bikes.

  • I`m sorry friend but someone has a suicide mission rainy day; Try to stop fast the back tire of that bike will not ! It will skid or fold you up into the other vehicle looks nifty for confined areas but even driving between the other cars your breaking the law A motorcycle recovery maybe narrow two wheel dolly for bikes WOW SEEN IT ALL NOW.

  • A) the maker and the video is in Europe, where splitting lanes is expected and normal. Its also legal and approved in California, where motorcycles are plentiful and the urban freeways are crowded.

    B) you don't use the back tire of a bike to stop, you use the FRONT brake. and if that tow rig is well designed, the tow wheels will have brakes too.

  • @MrMrtiki Maybe you don`t have the river clay we get around here that gets plunked on our roads it gets wet & turns to grease ;I was just thinking that the time it takes to registure that the guy in front done an emergency stop and the time it takes to put the enursha of this bike with extra weight behind at stop with this clay , Plus we get a caterpillar infestation on our highways at times I pull a trailor on a goldwing sorry I just think it`s a bad idea even if it works.

  • A great Idea but is really only good if your car breaks down or you're too drunk to drive, if your car has been involved in an accident then it would become more of a challenge if not impossible to tow.

  • Brilliant!

  • where the hell can i buy one? i want one!

  • i agree stopping powers gone

  • THAT IS NOT JAPAN.

  • good for taking drunk driver cars!

  • That there's Pretty Ingenious!

    Good for Europe's small roads

    & Cali Highways,

Which are more like parking lots at times.

  • Sweet, but it would be Waaaay cooler being pulled by an HD!

  • Na it wouldn't? H.D.'s are slow .

It'd take 'im all day to get to ya.

But then my best bike was a

    88 Honda vr45 Magna.

Texas H.P. Helped kill it. Me running didn't help any.

    Have a Good One!

  • BTW.... the engine is a F6, flat-six cylinder with fuel injection. Really is a powerful engine (not like a racing bike, but still has ALOT of torque and HP). While it's not going tow a semi or anything, it's probably fine for small vehicles in Europe or Japan. They don't typically drive the large SUVs that we drive in the US. The engine has more HP than some small cars. I wouldn't pull a vehicle up a steep grade, but to pull a car around a city, no problem.

  • I swear... I can't believe the replies to this.

Yes, if you went down, you might get hurt. Every bike rider has to be concerned with that.. Duh! (Yes, I do ride motorcycles, I have 3 right now) I even have a GL1800 in Illusion Red, which IS the bike in the video.

I would almost bet that the trailer has brakes. I know how great the brakes are in the Wings, and are probably the best I've ever felt on a bike. They do have the option of anti-lock (which I have).

  • nice idea..

  • Hope they at least beefed up the brakes on the bike

  • This is a joke

  • hahaahaha vag assistans! i want a sticker for my truck that says that!! that bikes kinda dumb though its just not guna work. put more towtruck drivers lives at risk and this risk could have been avoided

  • I can spot a problem with this right away. If you were traveling at a speed, and had to make a stop, the weight of the car which exceeds the bike would keep pushing the bike. The brakes on bikes are only designed to handle the weight of the bike and the rider, so adding a car to the equation throws it off balance. Its a neat idea, but perhaps speed restrictions?

  • I agree with you.

I believe it will only work at low speeds.

  • kinda breezed throuh getting the car's wheels into/onto the dolly's stirrups... what about trailer brakes for better control/security/safety?

  • The Sweeds made this great tow and the Japanesse bought it.. It would be a great item to have in large citys like SanFrancisco, LA and New York just to name a few..

  • i hate to go around a coner when its wet and i think that to much for the bikes clutch to handle and evon if you fell of ove this thing you might end up under the car

  • and if you have to make a sudden stop??

  • You dont....lol

  • @bmwonice

I'm willing to bet all those extra wheels have brakes...

  • @bmwonice You can see the brakes on the extender wheels half way through video.

  • @bmwonice you brake

  • What next WoW now that how u ride in style *****

  • That's brilliant! Even if you might not want to tow far with it, especially towing a larger vehicle, it would be the perfect thing to get into a traffic jam to remove any stalled or lightly wrecked vehicle off the expressway, in any major city to be picked up by a larger vehicle later if necessary. Brilliant!

  • thats china not japan

  • Now that's one honk'n bike. Thanks

    Doc Hallenstein

  • Ya right . . let's see this thing on a freekin' hill like most places have.

  • "Vag Assistans ... Coming Through!" I lawled.

  • That's a first for me!

  • A car thief's dream.

  • holy shit :|

  • creo que es muy peligroso, ojala nunca lo aprueben en USA, esto es ridiculo

  • Worst case scenario you would experience a triple MORTAL COMBAT fatality

    1. you slide over in to on coming traffic, r.i.p.

    2. the car that's being towed crushes you and the bike from behind, r.i.p.

    3. the truck that's following you can't stop and crushes your customers car along with AAA member inside, he-he, then crushes the bike and what's ever left of you and makes contact with the vehicle that you hit in the first place, r.i.p.

  • "I TOW, THERE FOR I AM"

  • only a tow truck driver would invent something so dangerous!!! you have to think worst case scenario, at the end of the video, the dude is going down hill and making a right turn, if it's raining you would definitely feel it in your steering and braking,

the other is visibility, ahead of the cars that are in front of you, so you can make a dead stop,

your motorcycle can get sandwiched between what your towing and the asshole in front of you whose trying to get an insurance settlement

  • messed up i like it though

  • what if its and awd? where the dollies at?

  • hmm...i guess putting it in neutral wouldn't work ... oh ... oh wait it would

  • smart, less fuel!

  • Very cool...but I'd hate to see how bad it would stop in an emergency. Also, what about getting up steep hills with just the bike motor pulling??

  • gena's*

  • hi genna's dad

  • Cool although that one is shot in Sweden.

  • i read about these. its kewl to see one in action.
