Gus Van & Joe Schenck were featured on radio, in vaudeville and in several Broadway musicals. Joe died at 39 in 1930; Gus at 80 in 1968. They scored 20 hits between 1917 and 1928 and this song was one of them. It reached #8 in March 1918.
