I have lived in Texas since 88 I dont remember the BUILDING A BETTER TEXAS moniker I just remember the TEXAS NEWS CHANNEL theme from about 95 or so...

Btw I just wonder if shes related to Clarience on KDFW Fox 4 hmm....

I think Cynthia Tinsley ended up reporting for WUAB Channel 43 in Cleveland a few years later.

She went to WXIA 11-NBC in Atlanta, and left for WUAB 43 in Cleveland, now she back in Atlanta, doing PR for AirTrans airlines

They dropped Building a Better Texas in 1992 to make way for "The Texas NewsChannel". Then in 2003 they dropped it to become "Live, Local, Late-Breaking" also no longer the slogan.

DALLAs on the identity? You have too look real closely in the station logo of the clip (Fort Worth-Dallas; it's real small you have to get close to look at it).
