Yes, this mount (particularly the Mega Grip holder) is designed for all the larger Smartphones (Superphones) and will work with most cases. It should also work with the extended battery, depending on the depth of the EVO with battery extender attached. The depth of the holder to the far edge of the support arms is 1". However, even if there's an overhang, it should be able to hold it. If you find otherwise, please let us know.

Yes, all of the Arkon mounts allow for 360 degree swivel rotation.
