Actually Wander doesn't drown from being underwater, he's just forced to surface. At least that's what I remember.

when i was young i drowned. my sister and i were running around a pool and i fell. i didn't know how to swim at the time and i remember struggling to stay afloat to breath. of course, eventually i ended up needing air and breathed the water in. it wasn't painful, more shocking. i think i went into shock and everything started turning to black and i felt very warm. then next thing i know, i was on my back spewing water from my mouth and nose. that kind of hurt.

@mds0014 it seemed like seconds to me, but they said i was floating head down in the water and they dragged me out and did cpr. so i was obviously out for at least 5 minutes or longer. i can swim now so i don't really have a fear of drowning. not that i won't get a little worried if i'm far out from shore and get a leg cramp, which has happened. i basically floated and slowly used my arms to bring myself in. the fear was actually the worst part of drowning. after that shock and the warm darkness

@mds0014 i think i would be more afraid of creatures being in the water, esp if something bumps you in the ocean!!!! now that is a scary feeling. am i about to be eaten? anyway, sorry for the long posts. and no, i don't recommend drowning. :P i was just giving my 2 cents.

I remember when Red Dead Redemption was announced, and the the first trailers appeared, people went gaga over how great the horses looked (and they do look good) but I still think this game does it better. The way he gallops across the plains, rears back and struggles to his feet when a rock or a collossus falls beside him.

@lucahjin Wander can't drown in this game. If your breath meter goes empty he'll just go up for air automatically. So there's nothing to worry about.

Man, I don't blame you for being afraid of drawining irl or in video games.. that's like.. my #2 fear. I'm a strong swimmer, but still.. i'm afraid I'll get dragged under.. which is why I'm scared of boats.

Whenever I get in water in video games, I start sahking because I get this 110% certainty that there are sharks and tentacles in every body of water, just waiting to eat me/drag me under and drown me. There are also giant eels and giant dragons in water. Even small ponds.

I had a lot of glitches on my copy. The funniest glitch for me was, well... I fell down through the ground under the bridge, and I was just sitting there, watching Wander falling and falling until he just died.

Legit, I was sitting there for 5 minutes waiting to die. XD

@UndyingWIll31 There are tons of horse glitches I think. I've seen the one you speak of. as well as some horses in the ground partially. The worst that one did was with a guy on the horse where just barely its back was above the road so it looked like he was going through some deep water O.o And there was one with lag on a stagecoach online, it let me get on the horse, so I took it away and after some time it warped back to the coach, then I went away and it repeated O.o

i love looking at the landscape too, like in wind waker and tp, i loved staring through the hawkeye and telescope to see things from distances, i just wish both games were a little more dark, cause that brings out the landscape to me, like this game

Don't worry Lucahjin, I'm deathly scared of any water in video games. Ever since super Mario 64 I've never wanted to go into he water in video games (I'm fine in real life.) At this part of SotC I spent around 20 minutes arguing with myself about going into the water, I finally decided to go into the water but I had to turn the sound off and close my eyes.

While not afraid of drowning, I had a fear of underwater predators (like sharks) in 3d games. Level 8 in Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire was terrifying for me. I kind of got over it growing up. I think it's cool that others also have things like that and that it even transfers to games.
