  • Digital is the new analog!!

  • Didn't realize LIN TV were 22's owners now. They own Channel 12 (WPRI, CBS) and their sister station Channel 64 (WNAC, Fox) in Rhode Island as well,

  • It's a real trip seeing Barry Kriger again. I left Springfield in 2001 and hadn't seen any of the TV reporters I remember for quite a while. Funny though, Dan Yorke left the area the same time I did and now both of us are here in Rhode Island. He's not doing his "Rush Limbaugh wanna-be" act anymore, which is a good thing. Is Beth Carroll still around? Or Eileen Curran? Just curious. I lived in Springfield for 20 years and kind of miss the old place.

  • 2:45 for the impatient

  • Who is the English announcer at the end, is that Michael Elston?

  • So, 22News in the Morning and at Noon, 5, 5:30, 6 and 11 would still air on Analog 22 for the next 2 months afterwards?

  • That guys smile is scaring me.. lol

  • Because he's gay.

  • Man that weatherman has been spending too much time with Michael Jackson.

  • lin tv, really? they didnt shut off wivb in buffalo

  • Thank you for upload ! 5*

  • I wanted to know if that announcement at the end of this clip--"WWLP now concludes analog programming..."--ran in a loop before airing the DTV Transition informercial?

I have digital cable from where I am from and some of my stations delayed the transition until June 12!

  • yes the announcement was ran for a few loops then the DTV video began

  • I was wondering about that because the background image started right from the beginning after the announcement was made. Thanks for letting me know.
