Seriously no effence but you are ruining your hair by teasing it. I know its an easier way to keep it up, becuz ive done that before, but its damaginng your hair. It causes more breakage. I think it would be better if you just pulled it up and spray hairspray underneath and hold it there for a few seconds. I just do NOT want to see the damage.

@JezzyR23 ur supposed to do that. it is how u get the volume for ur hair. you need a comb to make the teasing better. you have to brush first so there are no tangles and then you tease the shape and as you are shaping, you use the hair spray to hold it all

@JezzyR23 sounds like your not teasing it right, make sure you have layers that will make it easier, once you've teased the heck out of your hair, hairspray it loads, then gently brush it out to make it neater, don't brush the teasing out just smooth it over then use more hairspray, use a comb to tease and a brush to brush it out

@JezzyR23 Well first off, you really shouldn't be using a brush for teasing, instead try a teasing comb, or at least a comb instead. Also what you need to do is pick up the area of hair that will be showing, then take some hair that will be under that area, and tease that hair, then flip the top hair back over it. Just tease the under part of your hair, just under the first layer then lay the first layer on top to cover the teasing. Sorry if it seems complicated.

@JezzyR23 I would assume it would depend on the thickness and curlyness of your hair. I bet if you have thicker hair is stays up better. But thinner hair may knot up easier. I have pretty thin hair and it sometimes knots but I would try to make sure all of your hair is brushed out extremely well because if you already have knots, it gets worse!

I just started with pink streaks and straightened my hair everyday. It eventually got straighter and straighter. And if you do get just a little bit of color in your hair it will fade forcing you to go back and re-dye it. Just start out small. It works trust me. :D
