J-pop needs more comebacks from the biggies.. Like Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro, and Koda Kumi. They pwn all of k-pop any day, no offence to K-pop.

What KARA are doing is no different from what any given Japanese idol group is doing, but no one delivers the same ire or ill will on them. I don't think one person has said anything about YGA, much less anything bad about YGA. But I imagine if YGA were Korean, it'd bother a lot more people. Just a hunch.

It's kind of hilarious how passionate people get about a musical countdown that's already been made. It's represented by sales, and unless you're actually buying the songs, there's nothing you can do about it.
Very glad KARA was able to beat at least one of the two juggernauts. Don't know how you can be upset when someone other than AKB/Johnny's is able to snag a top 2 spot in an AKB/Johnny's week.
@goodlucksaturday None of AKBs subgroups have anywhere near the selling power, so I'm not surprised when other groups can beat them out for #1, 2, or more. :P

@Perriwynkkle Yeah Toho was always really popular and Girls Generation has a good market, but I do believe Kara will stay in Japan. I don't have the feeling that they are just part of the Hallyu wave.
