  • @rollvortex123 The Japanese went out of resources and wanted to show they are very powerful so Yamashita declared war.

  • @jpnsunrise1 Even honest people are poor like honest scientists are poor being fired at fascist universities in the US? do you agree with me, sir?

  • @JapaneseNinjaWay LOL you should be helping urselves like educating and getting a job. So much of a recession these days.

  • Sometimes the ones who knows the truth but states the opposites, what would you call them? I think you know the real obvious answer.

  • Western books are unreliable. Did you know that westerners write so much false history which is fascinating? Maybe the Elites push them to invade other countries.

  • I'm Japanese and I love Philippines country (^0^) mabuhay ka (*´∀`*) Firipindesu。。

  • @JapaneseNinjaWay Are you really Japanese?

  • @saberi81 This scene was in the Philippines not in singapore LOL. I've already watch this on TV.

Look at Rizal's (our national hero) statue at 1:52 LOLOLOLOL

  • Filipino hates us. Doesn't seem like they know the true history, and the German history about WW2, we both has been treated as war crimes. but NOT all histories should be right. the winner takes all, even takes out the true histories.ne ? US,korean, chinese govs.

  • Past is past but never forget the World War 2 History and the brutality of the Imperial Japanese, many innocent people died in that time.

  • Japan Loves Philippines so much

I'm Japanese so take care Philippines

  • Japanese people were also hungry and dead during WWII.

I'm afraid "Who did supply this army's food?"

  • ummm im i pilipino and this is strange why is it at battle scenes no enemies show up their shooting tarsiers and monkeys ._. -??????? lol

  • I'm just wondering, though...despite the Japanese killing as many as a million of the Filipinos, why do so many today love everything that has got to do with Japan?

  • @Falamu445

Do you believe "Japanese kill as many as a million of the Filipinos"? In fact many Filipinos citizens were killed in WW2. But U.S. Army and Navy did indiscriminate bombing and bombardment by warships to urban district.

800,000 citizens were killed in Japan by indiscriminate air raid and bombardment from a warship of the Allied Forces, too.

However, Japan becomes the ally which is the most important to U.S.A. now.

  • @jpnsunrise1

Of course the opposition would support a power that could oust the incumbent government. It's called OPPORTUNITY. It does not excuse the Japanese attrocities whether the Japanese aligned with a certain group of a country's people. Mass killings, comfort women, forced labor, and torture of POWs... Do not forget character's in the Japanese regime such as Lt. General Shito Ishii and the infamous Unit 731. Do not deny the crimes of your regime. Let's not pass the blame, you scum.

  • @Chiksilong

HaHaHa!! Have you ever learned history? Unit731?? HaHa!! Unit731' brutal act was created by S.Korean and communist. Where is evidence to prove what Unit731 did?

    --

On August 15, 2005, the S.Korean MBC television broadcasted a Hong Kong flick as “the documentary of experiments on human beings by Unit 731" in news program from 9:00 p.m.

MBC rehashed the color movie to black and white deliberately and broadcasted it dressed as the then film.

  • @Chiksilong

When MBC was pointed the truth by a person concerned with movie, MBC announced the comment “It was a mistake". It is S.Korean mass communication to deceive the nation to agitate for anti-Japan.

    S.Korean always tell a lie.

    --

S.Korean is brainwashed by S.Korea govt. which slaughtered 1.2M S.Koreans and the mass communication influenced by huge capital.

Whom of the member of Unit731 was accused by the Allied? Whom was judged by the Allied?

  • @jpnsunrise1 why troll in a Philippine video? Jap dick too small to satisfy ur wife?

  • @fujianprince

This video do not show Battle of Philippine. Most of scene is Battle of Malaysia and Singapore, and a little of Battle of 上海 in China. You are fool.

  • The background music is really good. I like it. Could anybody know where I can get the music scores? Any advice would be welcomed!.

  • The OCCUPATION of territories, was due in part to economic rationality.. Japan, believing that by creating a economic BLOCK zone, were the Yen could be valued beyond home borders, can secure and stabilize economic growth.. = EU block.. similar thing.. they failed, cause the US, imposed the importation blocks.. killing the economy = pearl harbor.. not US fault of course.. just ideological, jargon from the military class.. who knew they would lose.. they had NO war winning plan.. escalation only.

  • @teddythebenny

I am interested in your theory of Japan not having a war winning plan.

What do you base that on?

  • @CSATexan there are accounts, based on diplomatic files, as well as military records, from the nationa archives of Japan, as well as documentaries, and texts, that denominate the complex relationship between the Army, and the Navy. Whereby, the Army, with its forces spread well into Asia, desired to limit further escalations, beyond the borders of 42. the Navy, a rival for resources and manpower, desired to secure the pacific, leading to greater escalation = hopeless scenario of defeat.

  • dont u guys, remember what happened after the war ? everything was destoryed, the Yoshida Shiguru, with his Yoshida doctrine, (economics, rather then military defence = US umbrella).. + recovery of ship building industry = reconstruction = labor reform (life time work), industrial recovery = Japan, worlds factory = high tech industry = 80s, japan controls 7% of world economy, = cuts in bond market in 90s, = bubble pops = 20 years lost. = ALL GOVERNMENTAL actions.. not politics.

  • "In defeat, the Japanese were reduced to sexual playthings, forced to open their legs to their new masters, both domestic and foreign. This was a continuation of a very long and very dishonorable Japanese tradition. Japan's first exports to into Southeast Asia were indentured Japanese prostitutes, called karayuki, worked as whores, all over Asia serving in the Philippines, Formosa and Korea."

  • @fujianprince ....Where in the flying fuck you have been spending your nights bub? You are one stupid fucked up sick puppy shithead!

  • @11B30Inf one Jap commented that Filipinos were prostitutes, so I countered it with this book, are you a Jap sympathizer or one of them? I suggest you google Bataan Death March and Manila Massacre

  • @fujianprince Sorry for the rant.... The way you presented in here I thought you were the one sympathizing for the what the Imperial Japan did.....

  • @11B30Inf Apology accepted, sorry for the harsh language of my comments, but it was intended for (undertakerRach) and (jpnsunrise1) - those pro-Japan bastards!

  • According to the BBC World News on March 16, 2009, China government distorted a teenage girl’s age in Beijing Olympic. Bone tests on teenage athletes in south China have shown that thousands had faked their age, often in order to keep competing in junior events. Tests on nearly 13,000 athletes found that more than 3,000 were older than their registered age, according to the Sports Bureau of Guangdong Province. Lie Lie Lie Chinese are lying like taking breaths.

  • Japanese soldiers committed war crimes.End of discussion

  • Fucking Jap nationalists on this page should go die by Tsunami or Radiation.

  • @Pilosoposporo

You must not be Filipino but a shameless liar S.Korean. HaHaHa!! S.Korean always pretend other Asians, because they feel shame to be S.Korean. S.Korean govt. executed 1.2M S.Korean citizens including women and children before and after the outbreak of Korean War. S.Korean govt. sold S.Korean women like a flower to U.S. Army as comfort women for earning U.S. dollar and disturbing the retreat of U.S.Army, which protect S.Korean dictator from S.Korean people, from S.Korea.

  • @jpnsunrise1 ROFL Korean? You mean the slant-eyed yellow monkey race! My country is littered with your filthy Nip race. All Japs, Gooks, Chinks are all greedy but with a small penis.

We have a saying here "Ang patay na Hapon, bubulok maghapon" (A dead Jap, rots all afternoon)

  • @Pilosoposporo

HaHaHa!! Racist!! S.Korean looked down Asian people including Filipino, because many Filipino prostitutes work around U.S. military bases, it is called "Texas village" in S.Korea.

The New York Times Published: January 7, 2009

Ex-Prostitutes Say South Korea and U.S. Enabled Sex Trade Near Bases

These days, camp towns still exist, but as the Korean economy took off, women from the Philippines began replacing them.

What does S.Korean call you ?

  • @jpnsunrise1 "HaHaHa!! Racist!!"

Let's see now, you hate Gooks and Americunts, that makes you racist too. Double standards?

What kind of a laugh is that anyway? Sounds like a drowning Nip in Fukushima lol.

"The New York Times Published: January 7, 2009"

No such article exists. Maybe you should rename it to "Jpnsunrise Times" or better yet "Radiation Times."

  • @jpnsunrise1 Speaking of Gooks, you Japs share the same sluts as them anyway. I don't see why two yellow monkeys hate one another. Birds of the same feather shit together!

  • @Pilosoposporo

S.Korean always tell lies about Japan ad Japanese to hide their crimes against the humanity. S.Korean Army invaded Vietnam as a minion of U.S. Army, and slaughtered and raped Vietnamese citizens. S.Korean navy slaughtered Japanese fishermen and robbed their fishing boats to give S.Korean fishermen. What a shameless people S.Korean is!! S.Korean did brute act same as Nazi.

  • The Philippines was a major reason why the Japs were slowed down in their advance towards Australia. What was supposed to be a 1 month operation turned into 5. The amount of shelling Corregidor received was astounding, and the soldiers held out despite being practically starved. Without that valiant resistance the war in the Pacific would not have turned in favor of the Allies.

  • @undertakerRach TRUTH ABOUT JAPAN:

    1) Don’t buy Japan’s cancer causing radiation polluted products, especially food. The Japanese government lied about the safety of their exported food products.

  • @undertakerRach 2) Don’t marry a Japanese person; if you do, try not to have any children because they are carrying a radiation mutated gene, resulting from the two well deserved American A-bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to force a quick surrender of Japan ending WWII, and the recent earthquake-tsunami triggered nuclear accident at Fukushima.

  • @undertakerRach 4) Furthermore, because of the intrinsic geological condition of Japan, not to let appearances fool you, another earthquake-tsunami is imminent, not a question of “if” it happens but “when”. Keep this in mind.

  • @undertakerRach <---- Jap troll

Come here to the Philippines and we'll make a yummy Lechon out of a Jap like you!

    * Japs are good only in one thing - making "Hentai" lol

  • @fujianprince Your stories are not related to Chinese bad acts story.

The Chinese really want to spread Japanese bad rumors to the world. In youtube, they have written lot of groundless rumors about Japan. The rumors don’t have any conclusive evidence. The cause of this fact is the anti-Japanese policy of the Chinese government.

  • @undertakerRach Read the title it's "JAPANESE OCCUPATION" not China you idiot.

Radiation levels in Fukushima must be high lately HAHAHA. Japs deserve that Tsunami.

I donated $1 btw, that's how much your life costs lol.

  • @undertakerRach The beautiful city of Manila, once called the "Venice of the East" was bombarded repeatedly by Japanese forces in 1945. Showing no remorse, they used civilians as HUMAN SHIELDS and destroyed countless IRREPLACEABLE momuments. Being next to Warsaw the most destroyed city in WW2.

USA should have nuked you more into a radiation nation.

    Fuck the Japs and Whorepan!

If you are half-Japanese Filipino, I am half Filipino-Japanese!! This is S.Korean major newspaper's article. -- Man Indicted for Racist Harassment Chosun Ilbo Sep. 07, 2009 Prosecutors have indicted a man for calling an Indian "dirty" and "smelly" on a public bus.
  • @harukahime93

The Bucheon branch of the Incheon District Prosecutor's Office on Sunday said it summarily indicted the 31-year-old man identified only by his surname Park.

"This case shows that a racist remark that could potentially harass a foreigner can be subject to legal punishment," a spokesman said. Unlike some advanced countries, Korea has no separate criminal offense covering racist remarks or behavior, so Park was indicted for contempt.

  • @harukahime93

Park is accused of insulting Banajit Hussain (28), a research professor at SungKongHoe University, on a bus on July 10. Park, who was drunk at the time, started the dispute by disrupting a conversation between Hussain and

a Korean woman. Park counter-sued Hussain for contemptuous remarks but dropped the charge during the investigation, apologizing and admitting he was at fault. Hussain accepted Park's apology but did not drop the charge, prosecutors said.

    This is racist!!

    3) Japan gives them 9 seats in Parliament

Yes, Japan is becoming communist now.

  • @undertakerRach where did you learn to speak Tagalog? Filipino language classes aren't available in Japan even in Tokyo university, did you google translate? Fuck off communist Jap!

  • And here we have the Japanese with superior firepower, superior officers, superior number of soldiers, superior equipments, superior supplies, superior control of the sea and sky. They are far superior in every aspect against the Filipino soldiers.

What the gureillas lack in everything, they make up with knowledge of the terrain, support of the people, and the fire in their hearts to hold out and try to free their motherland from the evil 1940s Japanese menace.

  • @themangix357

Imperial Japanese govt.allied with Philippine govt. which get independence in 1943. But many Filipino citizens were killed by indiscriminate bombing and indiscriminate bombardment of land by U.S.Navy's warships. It was a pity that Imperial Japanese Army could not repulse brute U.S. Army's attack to Filipino people and could not protected them. Philippine was recolonized by U.S. Army again. The result was same as U.S. -Philippine War (a revolt to U.S.). from 1899

    The racial equality proposal

After the end of seclusion, Japan suffered unequal treaties and demanded equal status with the Powers. In this context, the Japanese delegation to the Paris peace conference proposed the "racial equality clause" in the Covenant of the League of Nations. The first draft was presented to the League of Nations Commission on 13 February as an amendment to Article 21:

  • @t

The equality of nations being a basic principle of the League of Nations, the High Contracting Parties agree to accord as soon as possible to all alien nationals of states, members of the League, equal and just treatment in every respect making no distinction, either in law or in fact, on account of their race or nationality.

  • @themangix357

Count Makino announced at a press conference

We are not too proud to fight but we are too proud to accept a place of admitted inferiority in dealing with one or more of the associated nations. We want nothing but simple justice.

The proposal received a majority vote on 28 April 1919. 11 out of the 17 delegates present voted in favor to its amendment to the charter, and no negative vote was taken.

  • @themangix357 The votes for the amendment tallied thus: • Japan (2) Yes • France (2) Yes • Italy (2) Yes • Brazil (1) Yes • China (1) Yes • Greece (1) Yes • Serbia (1) Yes • Czechoslovakia (1) Yes Total: 11 Yes • British Empire (2) - Not Registered • United States (2) - Not Registered • Portugal (1) - Not Registered • Romania (1) - Not Registered • Belgium (2) - absent
  • @themangix357

The chairman, U.S. President Woodrow Wilson, overturned it saying that although the proposal had been approved by a clear majority, that in this particular matter, strong opposition had manifested itself, and that on this issue a unanimous vote would be required. This strong opposition came from the British delegation. Though the proposal itself was compatible with British stance of equality for all subjects as a principle for maintaining imperial unity,

  • @themangix

there were significant deviations in the stated interests of its Dominions, notably Australia. As it risked undermining the White Australia Policy, behind the scenes Billy Hughes and Joseph Cook vigorously opposed the proposal, and so advocated against it through the British delegation. Without the support of its Dominions, the British delegation could not take such a stand on principle. According to Cecil, the delegate representing the British Empire at the Conference, in his diary

  • @themangix357

...it is curious how all the foreigners[sic] perpetually harp on principle and right and other abstractions, whereas the Americans and still more the British are only considering what will give the best chance to the League of working properly. Though in a diary entry by House it says that President Wilson was at least tacitly in favor of accepting the proposal, but in the end he felt that British support for the League of Nations was a more crucial goal.

  • @themangix357

There is not much evidence to show that Wilson agreed strongly enough with the proposal to risk alienating the British delegation over it. The Japanese media fully covered the progress of the conference, leading to an alienation of Japanese public opinion towards the United States of America, leading to broader conflicts later on.

  • @themangix357

As such, this point could be listed among the many causes of conflict which lead to World War II, which were left unaddressed at the close of World War I. The rejection of the racial equality clause provoked important factor in turning Japan away from cooperation with West and toward nationalistic policies. It is both ironic, and indicative of the scale of the later changes in the mood of the international system,

  • @themangix357

that this contentious point of racial equality would later be incorporated into the United Nations Charter in 1945 as the fundamental principle of international justice.

    -

The colony of the Westerner finally disappears in Asia, and it may be said that the equality between races was almost realized. The Japanese purpose was accomplished.

  • @jpnsunrise1 Japs = big ego, small penis...

  • @jpnsunrise1

Yes, Japan's "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere" and subsequent conquest was to subject Asia into a dream-like world of equality...

...You're bullshit you know that? The war was partly because YOU, the butthurt Japanese, felt like you didn't get your share of the pie from the treaty of Versailles. Since Japan's whoring to the West didn't get what it wanted, they had to start shit. Don't try to justify your grandfather's attrocities--its a grave disrepect for us.

  • @Chiksilong

I prove you are a liar or a ignorant baby.

The fact; Imperial Japanese Army supported Burmese independence campaigner Aung San who asked for political asylum to Japan before Pacific War began, and trained military affairs for his friends. When the Pacific War began, they, Burma National Army, fought for liberation for Burma with Imperial Japanese Army against British Army.

  • @Chiksilong

Japanese govt. invited an Indian independence campaigner Shubosh Chondro Boshu to Japan and supported his provisional govt. of Free India. It had a military power which organized and recruited volunteers from India soldier of former British Indian Army that IJN captured after the fall of Singapore. The Army was Indian National Army. They fought against British troops with their slogan “march to Delhi" with Imperial Japanese Army. INA and IJA were equal partner.

  • @Chiksilong

Imperial Japanese govt. supported independent campaigner Sukarno and Mohammad Hatta of Indonesia. Netherlands Army and British Army returned to Indonesia after the end of Pacific War, Japanese Army had already surrendered, but many Japanese officers and soldiers fought for independence of Indonesia as volunteer with the Indonesian independent group soldiers.

  • @Chiksilong

Kingdom of Thailand, Manchurian empire, Chinese 汪兆銘 govt. allied with Empire of Japan. There was neither the reason nor the need why the Japanese Army killed Asian friends at all. Many Asians were killed by air raids of the Allied Forces. However, it was war crimes by the Allied Forces. Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Manchuria, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippine were attacked by air raid and bombardment of land by warships of Allied Forces.

  • @jpnsunrise1

All that is nice and well but war times make for strange bed fellows. Japan wouldn't mind supporting people that further their cause. All one has to do is see how the Filipinos reacted to the US invasion.

  • @CSATexan

    I hear as follows.

    -

Our US history books skimmed over the war and called it the Philippine Insurrection. My Illocano grandfather fought the Americans as did the Visayans, Tagalogs, and other groups. Indeed at least 500,000 Filipino's died of everything from mass murder to starvation.

The first US war crime trial was held in Manila, the Commander of the Army unit was found guilty of murdering Visayans. Still, my father only spoke of the good that came from US occupation.

  • @jpnsunrise1

That is nothing, to this day Julius Cesar is hailed as a great man when in fact his war exterminated or sold into slavery 1/3 of all Gauls.

  • @CSATexan

You read "Commentarii de Bello Gallico" too. But it was written from Cesar' viewpoint not Gauls. When I asked an intelligent Filipino about massacre in Philippine by U.S. Army. He said the principal of history as follows.

"its been taught in our history classes but it is the americans that didn't acknowledge the fact that a formal war exist between them and our newly formed govt. that time. i agree of your facts there but i don't agree that they are not taught though.

  • @CSATexan i think the americans killed more than 600,000 the casualties reached more than 1M including civilians in concentration camps. again... just as what the winning side does... fabrications... they will change something in order to make themselves look good. well, history does prove that... "

    --

    I agree with him.

  • @jpnsunrise1

All sides do that, even the losers.

  • @CSATexan

He want to say "The history is written by the winner." = "loser is forced to accept winner's history".

  • @jpnsunrise1

There are plenty of historical myths that prove otherwise

  • @CSATexan

I respect the truth and the fact. I recite the true history based on the fact not the abstract imagination.

  • @jpnsunrise1

How many Asian casualties were there as a result of Allied air raids and naval bombardments?

  • @HereticHails666

    To typical brainwashed S.Korean Heretic

Many Korean general were in the Imperial Japanese Army. Korean lieutenant general "洪思翊" Hong Sa Ik commanded Japanese and Korean officers and soldiers. He was arrested and was executed on false charge on 26, Sept, 1946 in Manila .

  • rapists, murderers, sadistic bruts, a disgrace to the human race!

  • @JeanEtchepare fuck you

  • At 2:31: For their homies.

  • Thanks for the info.

  • I don't think the Philippine guerillas defeated the Japanese troops. They are in the mountains most of the time just like the NPAs of today. The guerillas were in contact with the forces of Gen. MacArthur giving them valuable information necessary in retaking the Philippines.

  • @MrEriesal Filipinos won tactically because out of 48 provinces of the Philippines at that time, only 12 is controlled by the Japanese.

They are MORE ACTIVE than the NPA of today because millions of Filipino supported the resistance against the Japanese and it was so effective because Japs in Phil. didn't able to send reinforcement to their priority locations abroad. The resistance to Japanese occupation is successful mainly because of strong support from the citizens.

  • @MrEriesal Filipinos are tough in battle, just like the Vietnamese.
