I have never used the honeysuckle rose from Aubrye Organics, but I have used the White Camilla, and it leaves my hair (4C) feeling soft. The White Camilla actually smells pretty good too. It doesn't really lather, but i section my hair as i was to make sure it's worked in. Hope i could help.
Aubrey Organics products are great! I always buy them at iherb.com You can use my coupon code NAK992 to get $ 5 off + free shipping for orders over $ 40 + free samples. They ship worldwide.
I love Aubrey 's conditioners. I only apply them to my hair when dry like the bottle suggests. The shampoo's not so much, they are too drying. I purchase my Aubrey conditioners online from iherb.com. It's much cheaper. They offer $5 off your first purchase when you use the code NOF322. They sell a lot of natural products for cheap.
In order for the product to really deep condition it must be applied to dry hair. If not it seems to have a bad effect. I made the mistake of applying it to wet hair. But now when applying it I wash my hair then dry as much as I can with the towel and that makes all the difference. It even says so on the bottle ... "apply to dry hair for deep conditioning ". It works wonders when the hair is dried first!
Yea almost all of aubrey's shampoos are like that I've tried 4 just to give them a fair shot but nope. Now the conditioners I love. I rub them in my hands and then I put it on my length from tip to root and then I slick through the length and I snap on a cap for about 15mins and it's heaven for me
idk, maybe you can add some organic extra virgin olive oil to the honey suckle shampoo - oils can add moisture. Swanson vitamins dot com has Aubrey Organics products for almost 30 percent off.
i was lookin for the lady who products u mentioned some time ago and i couldnt find her under the name u said but i did find taliah waajid..idk if thats what you mean t=) thanks anyway
Girl I'm Deep conditioning with AO HSR right now...so far I'm not impressed either. I just put it in and this stuff is like crazy thick and hard to spread over my hair..I mean people have been going crazy about this stuff!!! And it stink so bad to me smell like a dang relaxer or something..like seriously!..hopefully Im impressed with it when I wash it out!
Lmao-"smells like a relaxer" now that i think of it it does. I use the shampoo on my wigs and I hate doing that sometimes because of the smell. It cleans my wigs just fine....they need to mark it for wigs and change the smell. Yea this product is BoBo!
i use the same pantene shampoo but my hair has been shedding alot so i'm thinking about going with natural shampoo. i'm gonna give the aubrey organics a try just to see if the natural shampoos are as bad or good as everyone says. but it is kinda pricey and im worried it might be a waste..
Sally's sales a products by the name of aphogee you should check them out first if your suffering from shedding. Try that first, it about 6-8 dollars per shampoo, conditoner, etc (depends on the oz) also if thats too much go to walmart and try organic roots stimulator they have stuff that helps with thining and shedding. Hope that helps! and if your absolutely going natural look up Talijah Whaad...the more I used her products the healthier and better my hair got.
I have the same hair type. When I first started using SLS-Free shampoo it made my hair hard and stiff. I was told when you first stop using SLS it takes a while for your hair to produce its own sebrum .. you scalp oils. So you probably have to use it a couple of times because the SLS shampoos have conditioned your scalp not to produce its own oil..
Just a suggestion.. of course everyone is different... I have also used organic shampoos that dryes and make my hair hard.. so ..
That sucks that you didnt like it that much. I have the honey suckle rose shampoo but did not to get the matching conditioner. I use it with Now Personal Care- Natural Citrus Moisture Moisturizing Conditioner. And they have been the best combo I have used comparable to Karens Body Beautiful products.
Thanks for your comment. I'm glad it worked out for you. That's the whole thing about products it just depends on your hair type. You know what I mean?
The honeysuckle rose conditioner is a lot better than the shampoo. I have used the shampoo a couple of times and now realize that is it not moisturizing at all but the conditioner smells good and works well on my 4 type hair.
yea, I use the conditioner sometimes as a prepoo and its not bad but its not great. Needless to say the product for me was hard to find and expensive so I won't be buying any of ther products again. Thx forthe comment.
no problem. the jars are $16 but you can buy a sample size for about 5.50. the price might be steep, but the product last a long time. i ordered my last $16 dollar jar in Aug and i'm still not done with it. I ordered more b/c i know they sellout all the time. if you have any ?'s about it, feel free to e-mail me. i have 4b and 4c hair/curls and cotton
Please. please don't get Miss Jessie or Carol's daughter because their product don't work well with 4b, 4c hair types. My hair is the same texture as yours and I use Organic Roots Stimulator replimishing conditioner.
I've been co washing with the honey suckle conditioner and its been working out pretty good...sometimes I mix it or follow it with another conditioner. I'll have to try adding the olive oil to the shampoo and let you know how that works out. Thx for the tips and the comment :-)
Thx lol.....I guess I felt more like a jack ass for doing all that running around for a sorry product....but that's a good way to think about it...I was trying something new

I love the Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner but hate any of the Aubrey shampoos. My hair is 4b/4c.
U could try the conditioner again maybe would not be that bad without the shampoo.
You could maybe try to add olive oil to the shampoo.
Their madrin jelly is really good.
