  • Went to ukf on saterday night, saw the likes of shy fx, knife party, culprate, and cyantific. Had the most incredible time raving until 6 in the morning. Then went home with like 10 friends and got incredibly stoned listening to skream..... was incredible. spinning out on nos balloons to this amazing music...

  • Skreahmmmm In Holland 2 March can't wait!!!!!

  • @dollfaceandsweetcake Waar zullen ze dan aanwezig zijn :o?!

  • she has the sexiest voice ever

  • kids.....

Smith an Mighty - Brain Scan :0

    the original dub steppers.

Skream and Benga are the shit, indeed, and many others in addition ..... but this story is older than most people realize.

  • @fluxsage smith and mighty isn't dub at all..

  • @jaceking29 Go listen to the actual track I mentioned. Location of the snare... tempo..... I understand that Smith and Mighty "isn't dub at all"... That's because they are artists and not a music genre. And I also understand that they have a variety of styles they use (most artists do), but that doesn't negate the fact that brain scan has elements of actual dub and dubstep. In 1986

  • @fluxsage i have listened to it. many times. and i am fairly sure that having snare and a certain tempo do not make a song "dubstep." Bottom line is if you are going to debate the birth of dubstep, it is ridiculous to argue that it started with Smith and Mighty.

  • @jaceking29 "The tempo is nearly always in the range of 138–142 beats per minute, with a clap or snare usually inserted every third beat in a bar" "Using developed 2-step styles with heavy influence from the Dub genre" -W- Sounds dead on to me. I didn't say Smith and Mighty started dubstep, so it's more ridiculous to argue a point I never made. The original point was that the story goes way back comprising of many elements that often get forsaken in this topic. Be negative elsewhere.

  • Tuuune!

  • I'll eat your fucking brain, I'll eat your fucking brain.

  • Nice chillin tune

  • cant find anywhere to buy this song! help!

  • I dont give a fuckabout wether it's dubstep, it's all EDM and the song sounds good.

  • @bereaver013 legitimately disturbed right now.

  • @bereaver013 wtf dude :DDDDDDD

  • why is everyone talking about dubstep when this is uk garage?

  • @viciousDUBSTEP because most of the bellends calling this dubstep are brosteppers and shouldent be alive

  • so nice

  • I think the problem with dubstep haters is their sound system is clearly too shit to listen to this amazing shit properly!

  • Beautiful!

  • completely forgot this tune and its an absolute banger

  • Banger

  • You lie when you say you love Skrillex and Skream at the same time. It's like you said that you love shit and bacon combined together.

  • I've got some friends who LOVE "dubstep".. I tried to show them some.... they didn't like it! XP As far as electro is concerned i just haven't found any sound as plural or complex. You can really find a bit of everything in it and it's constantly reinventing itself! Mesmerizing!

  • lets make erry youtube be about skwilleks

  • lovely :D thnx for the link Sheepy!

  • Skream is just amazing.

  • End of story end of story.

  • Skream demonstrating how beautiful dubstep can sound. ^_^ lush

  • @Highification certainly not in this track because this is uk garage.

  • @viciousDUBSTEP tbh uk garage & old school 2 step / dubstep are dissimilar. Same scene man.

  • @Highification you know, dubstep is technically derived from both those genres. so i wouldn't doubt it. plus we are all true bass heads at heart lol

  • @viciousDUBSTEP fuck bass. smoke crack

  • @viciousDUBSTEP Dubstep is a cross of Dub and UK garage. This is dubstep.

  • @verystrangegeorge well dubstep is a cross between alot of things, i didn't hear any wobbles and i think that is one of the prominent features in dubstep like the old coki the old benga or burial- fostercare....this track though (as beautiful as it is) i don't think is dubstep.

  • @viciousDUBSTEP I don't think Phaeleh uses bass wobbles...

  • @viciousDUBSTEP I think it's mostly garage.

  • CHeck out DJ Ease My Mind - Badder Remix

  • skream and benga pioneers of dubstep END OF STORY

  • @UnwantedOdour Actually there is a very elaborate story behind Dubstep, including many more heads than listed.

  • @Skreeaamizm i know this but the 2 of you were the first i listened too you made me search for other artists like Deadmau5, doctor p, flux pavillion, skrillex the list goes on. but you and benga showed me the light

  • @Skreeaamizm Please explain bro:D

  • @Aflyingdubstepcholo I'll Explain....There Were More Not As Well Known Artists Like Mala and Coki That Started Up the Dubstep Scene...It Was Able to get So big because Of the Dark Garage Sound Surronding It.

  • @Skreeaamizm shut up meg

  • @Skreeaamizm what is the story behind dub step

  • @Skreeaamizm

also reggae and its 3/3 timeline.

  • @UnwantedOdour also mala, coki, plastician, hoursepower prod.... etc

  • @UnwantedOdour Lol massive chavvy cunt clearly with no knowledge of music.

  • @UnwantedOdour Isnt this just dub?

  • @UnwantedOdour hatcha?

  • @UnwantedOdour AND Borgore!

  • @MrVaughn101 not really

  • Skream is truely on another level....like, i know there are different styles of dubstep and different sounds but this here just is a masterpiece. he keeps it gentle yet the track has momentum.

  • WHAT A TUNE. Definately buying the album tomorow.

  • thumbs up if you're viewer 80,000 also

  • @zMcGUIRE360 yep, you're right! :-)

  • Skream, The man who in my eyes and suspect many others pioneered dubstep!

  • some song of skreams pics have this guy with a light blue square and some with a darker blue square.. why?

  • If you're a true lover of music you can appreciate most things...except rebecca black

  • @dashweave BOOOO!! Get off the stage!

  • Every dubstep video is a skrillex circlejerk in the comments.

  • THE DROP IS SO ILL!1!

  • Skrillex is incredibly SICKKKK!!!!!!!!!

I love the composition, sounds and drops by Skrillex.. But yet ohhh look here i am listening and really liking as usual Skream..

They can't be compared cah their styles are too different.. Skream is ambient Dubstep which sometimes or used to do nice drops and Wobbles and Skrillex go in hard with filthy Dubstep with the expected sounds but with an amazing outcome.. You can't fault either Producers!!!!

  • wtf 360p > 480p...

  • Lyrics are kinda corny

  • who is freckles? can't find any solid info on her...

  • i D/L this off the net felt so bad i went and brought it from the store !!!!!!!!!

  • WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE VIEWS?!

  • Oh my god, I love this fucking song <3

  • k hole?

  • I love this track

  • druuuuuuuuuugz

  • heavy bizniz

  • Skream, you are the Originalist.

  • You won't get better than this, pure emotion shows in the production and the vocals are heavenly!

  • @andreljn1o I Don' Llike Skrillex.end of story

  • @SapiaNt0mata ThankYou..Someone With Sense

  • One of my favourite songs. Skream's a beast.

  • Amazing tune

  • @TheDENCOnative your gay. hahaha.

  • @303skate303 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Seems like 9 guys haven't washed their ears since 2000 !

  • @christonar Why 9 guys? Girls masturbate to dubstep too...

  • @BiffyFighters Nobody masturbates to dubstep. It's just a thumbwhore myth ;)

  • sometimes i think that green box is an annotation box O.o

  • same argument on every video

  • 2:42 - vocals!

  • @OmartheOrange hey piece of shit, did i ask you if you like me or not?blow me lil' fuck.you don't know me in real life so i don't give a shit of what you said

are you blind or something?i never said "i hate Skrillex",i said i don't like the shit he produce.but he sucks with his electro bullshit..anyway,do you have any problem cause i don't like mainstream?well,i don't give a fuck

i don't onlly listen Skream,i listen to dubstep, not shitty electro stuff of Skrillex and other mainstream producers

  • @SapiaNt0mata lol you're dumb. Like he said you don't have to hate on skrillex's productions to like Skream. I like skream and skrillex. As a matter of fact Skream likes skrillex, he said so on his facebook/twitter.

  • @andreljn1o very true, but everyone is still entitled to their opinions on who they like or dislike. Personally I am into more of the UK Garage sound, but I do like Dubstep and Skrillex as a well. Prefer Skream though. but yes u are completely right.

  • @andreljn1o very true, i enjoy some of skrillex's tunes...i hate the newfags that just trendhop though.

  • SapiaNt0mata is so fucking mad.

  • 9 people are skrillex and his 8 friends

  • @cd0tm It's ironic because Skream and Skrillex are friends irl.

  • @SeanNolan5 and they turn to mainstream so that they can earn more money, not beacuse loads of people like it.and when you turn to mainstream people that know what good music is ofc they won't like the mainstream shits that you'll produce

  • @SeanNolan5 i don't care what everyone likes.i care of what I LIKE.i like the low profile producers not the mainstreams.i've heard producers that make x100 times better tracks than Skrillex

if everyone started to like Skream,i don't really care,he's not my brother

imagine this, imagine that, reality is that maters.and in reality Skrillex makes mainstream shits that i don't like at all.his intros are childish, his breaks are for clueless that don't know what dubstep is and his drops are mediocre

  • @SeanNolan5 at least i am a fanboy of Skream,not Skrillex.huge differense

shut the fuck up fucking retard.if i want to hate Skrillex's music i will hate it.you got a problem?well i write you in my balls and i'll still hate Skrillex.so i win..but i don't hate him i just don't like his mainstream shits that he make

and i don't like mainstream cause it sucks

everything that is mainstream simply sucks..even hip-hop mainstream sucks.you can't compare Soulja Boy and Kanye West with DMX or Methodman

  • @SapiaNt0mata fuck off i dont like ppl like you, just because tis mainstream does not mean you have to hate it so "you can be different" skrillix is dam good, and hes nice to listen to. He might have made a new type of music, but who cares dont worry about it keep listening to skream and just stfu. btw skream is amazing he will always be my favorite.

  • @SeanNolan5 how clueless you are..everything that is mainstream sucks..dubstep for exaple, you can't compare Skrillex with Skream, cause Skream fuckin rules, pure genius

  • @SapiaNt0mata if it sucks why is it mainstream? the only reason mainstream is mainstream because loads of people like it, you dumb ass calling me clueless.. you are a fanboy.. and hate mainstream for the actual reason of being everyone likes it. what if everyone started liking skream? would you hate him? fucking idiot.. dont hate on skrillex either.. imagine if he made the music he did but wasnt as famous as he did.. you'd like him. you cunt go and suck on what you call a genre of music.

  • i love skream so much. <3333

  • yes Skream. please leave magnetic man and make this kind of music instead

  • <3

  • This is stunning! epic! sick garage theme similar to Rusko - Hold On

  • @MrSexyPirateDisco thats a tune

  • this song means alot to me :/

  • every month i linger around a certain song..

    this'll take a few months..

  • why isnt this mainstream? <3

  • @SeanNolan5

    Fuck mainstream.

  • @vincent2fly mainstream is only mainstream because loads of people like it... fuck people like you who think its a genre..

  • @SeanNolan5

    1 example:

Chase and Status pre-mainstream success = AMAZING

Chase and Status post-mainstream success = Meh, occasional good song, mostly underwhelming.

Going mainstream makes some artists change their sound so much that they pander to what would do better in the charts and lose their soul. Not solely pointing the finger at C&S here but I'm sure this is what @vincent2fly meant by his comment. Music doesn't need to be mainstream to be good, underground music is usually best.

  • @SeanNolan5

Um, I'm guessing your not a dj nor producer. Not an intelligent one at that.

  • @vincent2fly good guess? :|.. what a random thing to say..

  • @vincent2fly fuck you bitch

  • on a stella session ting yasmin was on the vocal of this

  • I-gi-u-e-ry-thing I-gi-u-e-ry-thing :P

  • @freerunskate actually i dont think anything of the sort i... and greedyjr sorry to say but i wasnt trolling.

i do infact listen to some borgore, but he has alot of shit. and who is skrillex ... never heard of him... and fuck off am i a scene kid you cunt. i am really not a tool, and that is completely out of context. i enjoy music. well you kind of contridicted yourself by catagorizing them as dupstep. *says in a puffy voice* "wanker"
