I loved this commercial when it aired and was so excited. I was 15 and had been devastated when Bo and Hope left the show in 1987 when I was 12. Perfect commercial with the best music!

Bo & Hope both came back to Salem at the same time, after they crossed paths with Steve & Kayla who were searching for (then) baby Stephanie in Australia.

They had been "sailing around the world" on the original "Fancy Face." Hope "died" about six months later in the "Cruise of Deception" storyline because Kristian needed a Maternity Leave at the time.

Are those first re-entrance scenes on here?

Yes when Bo Brady returned in 199o the image the attitude the hair the leather jacket the toughness it was the best. Along with Patch they were the rebels and were the Super heros of the show. I wish Days would return and the image and story lines like they had back then.

No,Hope didn't "die" that year until they all went on the infamous "Cruise Of Deception",when Ernesto Toscano had her in a cage suspended above a vat of boiling acid.They would both disappear during one of Ernesto's vanishing acts and we didn't see Hope again until 4 years later as "Gina".

I don't remember exactly why. I believe they were having problems in their marriage at the time. I do remember she wasn't "dead" yet. That happened later.
