That was probably one of the most annoying dialogue changes I've ever seen 4Kids do on Pokémon. In the episode with the Pidgey who wants to fly, Nyasu asks if the moon is as round from close up as it is on earth. English version Meowth just wants to know if it's made of cheese. Enough to make you wretch!

It's funny how things like these tend to take on a whole new meaning and intent so soon after creation. I couldn't have imagined something much more fitting than this, honestly.
I don't think this was taking advantage of it at all. I think it was perfect timing (however unintentional), really. And if anything, I'd think if you recorded it after the fact, it wouldn't sound as cheerful, and Maddie would have rathered it would sound happy.
She was a lovely, cheerful person, and like I said, this is definitely within her type of character and persona.
I must ask, do you have a copy of the lead vocal as an isolated track? I would be very interested in using it for a tribute remix if that would be alright (using the original Japanese version in parts as well)

That was probably one of the most annoying dialogue changes I've ever seen 4Kids do on Pokémon. In the episode with the Pidgey who wants to fly, Nyasu asks if the moon is as round from close up as it is on earth. English version Meowth just wants to know if it's made of cheese. Enough to make you wretch!

Woah. That... That's amazing. I've tried transcribing it into English before, but never this well. I applaud you on it, and also your performance, it sounds a lot like the actual version and Maddie's voice.

Thanks for the heart, everybody! I just feel bad because, as I said, I had made this for something else entirely; I never recorded it with this situation in mind. And there's definitely no way I could have recorded something like this so quickly. I hope I wasn't taking advantage of the situation by posting it now when I took it down days before, but I guess the time just felt right.

It's funny how things like these tend to take on a whole new meaning and intent so soon after creation. I couldn't have imagined something much more fitting than this, honestly.
I don't think this was taking advantage of it at all. I think it was perfect timing (however unintentional), really. And if anything, I'd think if you recorded it after the fact, it wouldn't sound as cheerful, and Maddie would have rathered it would sound happy.

She was a lovely, cheerful person, and like I said, this is definitely within her type of character and persona.
I must ask, do you have a copy of the lead vocal as an isolated track? I would be very interested in using it for a tribute remix if that would be alright (using the original Japanese version in parts as well)
