  • nice, is this the video where u use the bass big muff pi pedal?

  • WOOOOOOAAAAAHHH!! I FUCKIN LOVE UR BASS!!

  • Lol, you got kind of a queens of the stone age vibe going there....very cool...i like it ;)

  • Dude get your timing together man!

  • is that bass tuned like a guitar or just straight fourths (or...)? Thanks for the cool demo.

  • @DoctorCalabria It's tuned in standard fourths (BEADGC) Thanks :)

  • is that tunes like a guitar or just straight fourths (or...)? Thanks for the cool demo.

  • Nice ! totally QOTSA sound : )!

  • Cool Melody.

  • Loved it :D

  • haha :P That looks just like a guitar with 099 strings XD

  • reminds me of burn the witch by queens of the stone age, so good man

  • what a huge pick up !

  • @michael96412 It's a ramp placed in front of my pickups. I now keep my ramp right on top of my pickups, so it looks like I just have one giant pickup :)

  • @bryanrtyler nice :)

  • Reminds me of QOTSA on their Era Vulgaris album, in a good way. :)

  • @jonsparrow15 Sounds kind of like Burn the Witch too.. At least the first part

  • @jonsparrow15 How can it remind anything to anyone in a bad way ;) !

  • Dude, you're great, that's a good tune. I think that if you weren't in your basement it would sound better... because of the acoustics I think.

  • @mrmusica I've since started using a DI to record all my video's audio. My basement is the one place I can play without waking my wife and kid :)

  • Please tell me that talent isn't sitting alone in his mother's BASSment?

That'd be a damn shame. Love the bass, love the technique.

  • @BayouSnipera It's my own basement, although I doubt that's much better :D

  • IN FSM WE TRUST

  • @ericofspades RAmen

  • farout. what kinda bass is that man, sounds great

  • @waiting4thesun64 It's an Elrick

  • @bryanrtyler

    active pickups/preamp?

  • @screamonightmares Passive pickups, active pre with barely any gain on it.

  • What type of loop pedal do you have?

  • @Colliernator1000 I use a Looperlative rackmount MIDI-controlled looper

  • @barrydope Not at all- I just save for a long time and don't buy myself almost anything else. Hell- look through my videos spanning back three or four years, and I'm wearing the same couple shirts in them :D

  • YEEEAH! NICE!

  • nice!, hey man u rock!

  • that was really cool man, i loved the have distortion on the low strings

  • I see you have been touched by His noodly appendage.

    RAmen.

  • @DRerAGO May you see the great stripper factory in the sky.

  • Loving the bass guitar, got a massive interest in 6 strings. Lovin' the use of the big muff too!

  • sounds alot like a song of lulabize to paralise by qotsa

  • thats an interesting bass you got their... the big muff sounds great, definetly my next purchase!

  • that aint no bad thing

  • nerd

  • Enter Captain Obvious...

  • @bryanrtyler

    lmao

  • dang those elircks rock.

    so do your fingers! xD

  • my bass is kinda like that, but 10 times better, and has super powers!

  • what amp are you using?

  • A Markbass F1

  • hey, i was wondering what you think of the mxr bass blowtorch as in how versitile and how much low end is kept with it?

    cheers (:

  • It's one of my favorite pedals- it keeps all the low end. I did a 2-part review on it that's posted here at YouTube

  • GETTING A BASS MUFF.

  • I've been looking for a good distortion pedal to combine with my "Wooley Mammoth" pedal and you have convinced me that the Bass Big Muff Pi is the way too go. Thanks buddy!

  • love this pedal for my guitar

  • That is a fucking beasty bass

  • I don't know if that means good, bad, ugly, or big :D

  • damn man tht was nice im only 13 i play bass a little bit but this sounds really good oh well practice makes perfect soo i better start practicing

  • i like it

  • what is that you are using to do the drums and record with and loop it? i need one.

  • Two different things. The drum is a Roland Handsonic HPD-15. The looping is done with a Looperlative LP-1, a multitrack stereo looper.

  • This is Burn the WItch by Queens of the Stone Age, minus a fill and the solo. Even the tone is similar. You present this as though it is an original.

  • Yeah, it's totally a cover. With a different chorus. And rhythm. And melody. You present your comment as though it was though-out :D As I've already mentioned, I'm a big QOTSA fan and found that part of it (fuzzed-out bass in E) sounded like "Burn The Witch" after I recorded it, but I'm fine with that, as "Burn The Witch," along with nearly every rock song in existence, sounds like a dozen others.

  • hahahahahah. Suck it jerkwad.

  • sweet song my dad has the same bass as u man

  • If he's got a bass similar to mine, I'd love to see it. Is it an Elrick?

  • I dig the song

  • I dig this.

    Killer man.

  • Sounds like "Here come the bastards".. or maybe it's american life... by Primus.. kind of.. idk haha

    Awesome stuff. =). Subscribed.

  • Nice one Bryan!

  • Thanks, James- you need to get some more up your stuff up!

  • Nice combination of bass and lead riffs there!

  • loose the hat ahah. nice work man.

  • But it says "ugly bass player" on it- I've never found a more appropriate hat :D

  • fantastic.

  • QOTSA was one of my favorite bands (while Nick Oliveri was still in it)- I listened to this again and realized part of it sounds like "Burn the Witch" :D Not the first time that's happened. Cut my hair a while ago- it's actually growing out again- grows too damn fast.

  • Great stuff man, has a nice queens of the stone age vibe.

    Dude you got a haircut!
