  • Who cares about the energy supply if you end up without drinkable water? Who cares for his hairdo when he's about to be capitated? The concept of the profit adoring, deluded people is below the reasoning level of a 5 year old.

We do not need this energy. We could just quit wasting energy. But wait! Wasting is the core concept of consumption-capitalism ... Hm. Ok. No chance. We have to ruin the planet in order to keep it going.

    Resistance is futile.

  • Drill baby Drill!!!! buy bottled water to drink dipshits. Who drinks tap water anyways???

Drilling is what pays my bills and puts food on the table. Now i agree that they should fix anything that they mess up, and certain ethical codes should be followed, but Natural gas is whats gonna save us! so o well...Drill ON

  • @BernieBC84 You can run a gas powered moter on water. Any gas powered motor. This is exactly why fat, lazy stupid americans can't understand basic physics and math and don't know much about anything at all. Stan Myer, an american, in 1973 perfected a hydrogen fuel cell that ran his car on water. Nothing but water. We could have gotten out of bed with the Arabs in 1975 by quick conversion to water powered cars. What do you know about anything?

  • @BernieBC84Where do you think the water in those bottles comes from? Aquafina and Poland Spring don't pull the water out of thin air.

Oh and if your bottle has the word 'Municipal" anywhere on, it comes from the tap. Just so you know.

  • The video states, "900 chemicals" are used in frac'ing. What are they? There are not 900 chemicals, and most of them are harmless. You folks have as many chemicals in your water supply now.

The video also states," Ny can't drink natural gas". What it doesn't consider, is that you can't heat your homes and apartments with water.

Get a life folks, and face reality. You need natural gas as much as you need water, otherwise you'll freeze to death in a day or two.

  • @m46nepa "You need natural gas as much as you need water" is truly the dumbest statement I've heard in a long time. The last one was, "I didn't know we wuz livin on a planet."

  • @m46nepa You guys are all stupid. Obviously at one point we did not have natural gas. Think back to the caveman days you idiots. We survived with no gas, so shut the hell up and learn something you spoiled, uneducated, lazy people. No, we do not need natural gas as much as we need water.

  • @m46nepa Freezin' to death? Well, there is a lot you can do to avoid that (ask the Inuit, who live in the polar regions without having natural gas to heat their homes). But what will you do to avoid the poisoning of the soil and of the water? Buy bottled water from Nestlé and eat Solvent Green? With what will you shower or fill your bath ub? Gatorade or Coke? Folks like you are the reason why the average intelligence quotient on the planet is constantly decreasing.

  • None of the people making anti fracing videos understand the fracing process. If done correctly it should not be a threat to drinking water. If it is a threat it is because the state isn't doing their job. Banning fracing is probably the dumbest head in the sand move their is. Why not look to other states and provinces that successfully protect their land and make huge profits to boot?

Google "energyindepth" if you want to know how fracing really works.

  • if this is true ......invest in my new company that will supply New York with water. send your investments to my pay-pal account

  • @jmecrg Well, this is mainly the reason why natural ressources are being destroyed on purpose. To open a new market. Since there aint any demands anymore, someone have to create new ones. Bottled water - the most idiotic product I've ever heard of - will be the only water left for you to use. But in order to archieve this goal, all natural water ressources have to be either overtaken or - much cheaper - become poisoned.

  • I'm going to be in New York in late August, any public hearings at that time?

  • i believe drilling for oil causes earthquakes..i dont wanna explain how..just think about why.

  • earthquakes? really? get real facts before you try to mislead people. the explosives are to penetrate the casing and cement to allow gas to flow into the well. seriously do your research.

  • @bigblockpwr

Yes, mini earthquakes. some up to 2.8 on the Richter. you do your research. who knew drilling deep into the ground could cause shifting? duh.

  • Unfortunately, this is as bad as the gas industry videos urging us to support drilling of "clean, environmentally friendly" natural gas. I'd like to read something INTELLIGENT on this issue.

  • I think you have the right idea, Tony. I would strongly suggest that in a minute and a half, a video SHOULD raise more questions than bring clearly defined answers.

Private property rights, of small landowners or of the drilling corporations, cannot be allowed to destroy clean water and breathable air which belong to everyone/no-one but the Creator.

  • Kind of weird, if this is such a bad practice, why are you only calling for a protection of the so-called "watershed"? The Earth is our watershed. I thought people were calling for a total ban state--wide? Not in an arbitrary "watershed".
