This is a very clever song, the radio doesn't do it justice. The video shows the true dichotomy between what we do and what we believe - The imagery is very well thought out, I love it. BTW don't judge a philosophy by it's abuse.

This however is most definitely not "evil", nor does it "blatantly" state otherwise. It is just story telling; something you probably would be familiar with. Agreed, that's the only thing that's keeping AOF from becoming the next "HUGE" name. I'm not going to say who this album sounds similar to, except on steroids, some may nail it. I'd give Old Crows a 10, but because of the out dated screaming, it gets a 9. Old Crows is a step in the right direction, damn near perfect, except for...you guessed it.

If you don't like the screaming, go listen to another mainstream band. Because AOF wouldn't have the same feel without the mix of Dallas and George.

The screaming is actually a 'period', or 'phase', or 'trend' that many bands go through. While i don't want AOF mainstream, i would like to hear more of them on the airwaves. But guess what is putting that on hold? My wife and i love Dallas Green, and she doesn't mind AOF, when they don't do the juvenile throat-job on the mic.

Bands can mature...it's ok. Wanna know why say...Nirvana was so huge? You figure it out. AOF has that talent...just holding out i guess
