  • Sorry to bother you again.

I tried using a wired controller on my xbox 360, and it didn't work (it still emits radiofrequency).

So I'm gonna buy a PS3. But before, buying it can you please tell me if you actually measured the radiofrequency from your PS3, after plugging a wired controller?

Some people say you have to cut some wires from thhe main board of a PS3.

    Thanks again,

  • @lboymusic

    HI

Xbox emit RF all the time, I don't know of a way to turn it off.

On PS3, on the other hand, the RF emission can be turned off.

Please see the following video out of my video:

Radiation (RF EMR) from PlayStation 3 and game controler.wmv

  • Hi there,

Before knowing about the dangers of wireless devices I bought a XBOX 360. It cost me 400€. Yesterday I try to turn it on. After connected to the plug for some seconds (I didn’t even turn it on) it started emitting radiation. I forgot that it used wireless controllers.

I used to love playing computer games, so I was wondering, is there any way of turning the wireless/Bluetooth off? Is it possible to do it on a PS3?

    Thanks,

  • @lboymusic

Hello and thanks for your question.

I don't know about XBOX but on PS3 you can connect the PS3 to the wired network and the remote control can be connected with USB cables.

When connected using USB cables there will be no BT remission .

When connected to the wired net cable you will be able to switch WIFI off.

    I hope this helps.

  • is it true the better the wi-fi the more radiation? also how safe are people with pacemakers?

  • @geekconnection Thanks for your comment.

Usually there is an association between WIFI quality and radiation level, but not always.

I am no expert on the subject of pacemakers but I guess that the pacemakers should be shielded in such a way that they will not be effected by all the RF and ELF EMR around us.

  • How does the EMR coming from the hand-held controller compare to that of a cell phone? Or a cordless phone? Is it stronger, weaker, the same?

  • @jinithompson

Hi and thanks for your comments and questions.

In general cell phone and dect phone are the worst as far as it comes to radiation levels.

But it also have to do with your exposure time. If for example you use the mobile phone for 3 minutes each day, and you play the Wii for 3 hours, I am guessing that your exposure from the wii will be more problematic than your exposure from the mobile phone.

If you get headaches from wii or mobile phone use I recomand not to use them both.

  • I never liked the Wii because I knew it emits Radio Frequency Radiation. I had no idea that that the Wii operates on 802.11g Bluetooth.

Thanks for sharing. Thumbs up - great video.

More people should comment or at least give you the thumbs up.

After all, the time you spend on making informative videos help every person actually view the levels of Radio Fequency Rdiation from the devices you test.

  • @les1chercheur

    Thanks man!

The levels are not so importent to me, I think people should know that these devices emit EMR so they will think of it as a source to their headaches.
