@wrxsubaru02 Yeah I got bit by one in high school just handling it. It was like a really weak mosquito bite, but it left a tiny red, itchy bump. Interesting thing is that the forceps seem to actually have the same function as a probosis. The aphid it was eating wasn't near the predator's head at all but it was still getting sucked dry! 0.0
Nah, I've never seen these guys dig a hole to trap ants with. I've kept one and it ate aphids, made a silken coccoon and came out a lacewing. Does look like an ant lion, though. Sigma1920 has some good videos on ant lions. :-)
Are these the guys with the web like stuff in them? And comes out when i kill it?

@thanatosanima Don't know. They do spin silk when they are about to pupate but that's about the only use..
