Brava, Laura! :) This is a beautiful and terrible song at the same time. Very rarely can someone sing it well. With that said, this is the best version I've heard -- and this includes Sarah Brightman and some other very talented, well-known artists. As a singer myself, I think it harsh to say she needs to add emotion to this song -- have you tried singing it well yourself? It's a hard song for how simple it is.

i love all those private little home singers that comment on how she needs more emotion and how her accent is weird. thing is - she sings you all to the ground. she is INCREDIBLY talented she plays a lot of instruments and even went to school for opera. not to forget she's become a huge name with her own composed arangements in the video game community. I think you can keep your self emberassing 10 cent advice to yourself she outmatches you anytime without breaking a sweat.

@LanNoire ... *smile* .. thanks for your support ... but we appreciate all thoughtful comments and "notes" *wink* ... it is a given that any song has different interpretations and needs for different listeners/singers ... and in fact, in the recital setting Laura takes a more "formal" approach. She is more theatrical in her solo performances for Vide Games Live (see God Of War, Belo Horizonte and more recently Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) ... but thanks again to ALL !

@LanNoire I think people are commenting with advice because the format of the video is kind of home-style and similar to those produced by "private little home singers". If one isn't aware of her huge name, then the natural assumption would be that she's still working her way up in the biz and that advice might not be unwelcome.
