Winning makes you popular but you have to be smart and realise that the UFC like WWE is a business. They put fights on to sell more PPV. You have to be smart about self promotion - Blogs, Interviews, Twitter, You tube. (Hardy is great at this) so fans have a vested interest in watching you fight and the UFC gives you a shot.

He's a great fighter, and he's absolutely right. He should be considered right under Maynard and Edgar, considering they're the only two who have beaten him.
He should fight Sotiropoulos, with the winner of that fight facing off against the winner of the UFC/WEC Lightweight Unification Title fight. It doesn't make sense why they matched Sotiropoulos with Siver, when Siver is in no way, shape or form, in the mix for the #1 Contendership. I say Miller/Sotiropoulos all the way.

@RajmanGamingHD Sherk isn't anywhere near title contention, and neither is Siver. Looking at current UFC fight records, and caliber of opponents, what I listed makes the most sense.
Ranking doesn't automatically get you a title shot, especially when you've been giving off lackluster performances, and putting up bad win/loss records.
Now, Sherk would give Miller a good fight, but Miller is farther in the mix than Sherk, so that fight would have to wait, until Sherk gets more wins.

The reason why hws are finished easier is cause a fighter's chin does NOT get stronger as he gains muscle mass and weight. So heavyweights get KOed more easily. Having said that more finishes makes the HW division more exciting. Also less finishes in the LW doesnt make them any less exciting; I love watching LW wars and submissions/scrambles
@austizz1e The reason HW's are finished more is because they have more weight which creates more force behind a properly thrown punch which is more power. A fighter's chin refers to a their ability to tolerate physical trauma to the head without being knocked unconscious. a fighters chin doesnt get weaker as he gets bigger nor does it get stronger. with HW they are bigger and more slower so they don't go balls to the wall like the LW.

Miller does have an impressive win streak. Too bad theres such a logjam in his division. This month were going to see two lightweight title fights, and then need to wait for a unification match to happen. Then, assuming George Sots wins in Australia, he has to get the shot. Millers best hope is to win his next fight and hope they select him.

@evilsimon1984 LW might not finish as much as the HW guys but they are certainly better technically and athletically. HW's have it easier to finish because they are so big, plus that their worse athletic level makes them tired quicker, which means they start getting sloppy and it's easier that a big shot lands. The HW division is a step behind the rest in the MMA evolution as well. The other divisions are much deeper.

@RGwhelan15 he beat danzig who knocked out stevenson, he beat bocek who had a first round submisson win. tyson griffin would get destroyed. dennis SIVER has no ground game. Kenny chokes. Both guida and gomi are booked to fight eachother. he fought and sam stout would aslo lose. He has lost to the undeafeted gray maynard, and lost a very close fight to edgar. he has made major improvements since then and could beat either of them. and i wouldnt consider them no names. maybe you should fight them.

He's a great fighter, and he's absolutely right. He should be considered right under Maynard and Edgar, considering they're the only two who have beaten him.
He should fight Sotiropoulos, with the winner of that fight facing off against the winner of the UFC/WEC Lightweight Unification Title fight. It doesn't make sense why they matched Sotiropoulos with Siver, when Siver is in no way, shape or form, in the mix for the #1 Contendership. I say Miller/Sotiropoulos all the way.

@RajmanGamingHD Sherk isn't anywhere near title contention, and neither is Siver. Looking at current UFC fight records, and caliber of opponents, what I listed makes the most sense.
Ranking doesn't automatically get you a title shot, especially when you've been giving off lackluster performances, and putting up bad win/loss records.
Now, Sherk would give Miller a good fight, but Miller is farther in the mix than Sherk, so that fight would have to wait, until Sherk gets more wins.

@spearstrike211 lol at "Sherk isn't anywhere near title contention", Sherk is in the mix aswell, he's coming off a win over Dunham (whos higher up the ladder then Oliveira and any of Miller's wins), the guy has only lost to GSP, Hughes, Penn & Edgar in his whole career...he's a former champ and has beaten much tougher guys then Miller has, ranking I'd say he's higher then Miller to. I agree Siver isnt in contention yet, but if he beats Sot and then Dunham/Guillard winner then I'd say he is.

@RajmanGamingHD True, but who has Sherk defeated lately that validates his spot in the Title picture? Sherk won a controversial split decision. If he had won by any other method, he'd be in the mix. He's got one more fight to go before Dana decides to feed him. As I said before, ranking doesn't mean anything when it comes to title shots, unless you're putting up dominant performances. Miller's on a 6 fight win streak. I'd say that's dominant enough.
Sherk should fight the winner of Guida/Gomi.

The reason why hws are finished easier is cause a fighter's chin does NOT get stronger as he gains muscle mass and weight. So heavyweights get KOed more easily. Having said that more finishes makes the HW division more exciting. Also less finishes in the LW doesnt make them any less exciting; I love watching LW wars and submissions/scrambles

@austizz1e The reason HW's are finished more is because they have more weight which creates more force behind a properly thrown punch which is more power. A fighter's chin refers to a their ability to tolerate physical trauma to the head without being knocked unconscious. a fighters chin doesnt get weaker as he gets bigger nor does it get stronger. with HW they are bigger and more slower so they don't go balls to the wall like the LW.

Miller does have an impressive win streak. Too bad theres such a logjam in his division. This month were going to see two lightweight title fights, and then need to wait for a unification match to happen. Then, assuming George Sots wins in Australia, he has to get the shot. Millers best hope is to win his next fight and hope they select him.

the level of competition is way bigger in the lighter division and if your running around telling they can't finish, than you haven't seen any fights.

@evilsimon1984 LW might not finish as much as the HW guys but they are certainly better technically and athletically. HW's have it easier to finish because they are so big, plus that their worse athletic level makes them tired quicker, which means they start getting sloppy and it's easier that a big shot lands. The HW division is a step behind the rest in the MMA evolution as well. The other divisions are much deeper.

Anderson Silva getting caught in a heel hook isn't a lucky win for Ryo Chonan, he saw an opportunity to do something and took it. That is how fights happen. Fedor making a mistake and jumping into Werdum's guard is a legit loss. It is not luck, he put himself in a situation that lead to a loss. That is how fighters lose in boxing, mma, kickboxing, grappling. It's just the way it is. No fluke,notluck

And no I don't want to see a rematch with Fedor and Werdum right now, because Werdum won the fight decisively and Fedor has to earn the right to the rematch because he tapped out in 69 seconds. Werdum needs to fight Overeem, and Fedor needs to beat a credible opponent like Big Foot or Barnett to face the winner of Overeem/Werdum.
